    The last time I did that for a clan, muse and activity died. Also from experience, i found I needed to be the one to start it more often than not since it is a plot stemmed from your idea.

    So, what if a tiny meteor of sorts fell through the barrier, causing a hole in it, as there seem to be something in the meteor that holds magical properties. The only problem is that the location of the hole in invisible barrier changes, shifting so that joiners and members of other clans can come through without knowing that there's a problem, while those from the inside can't as easily go on the other side of the border.
    Just an idea.
