Seeing that the sword was already glowing Kitsune took the opportunity to possess Athena who was in the back on the group. He would take her over or influence her. Just stick along for the ride. Though her shadow would appear to have Fox ears and tails. Kitsune could cast an illusion to mask it but that would ruin the fun and keep the mortals from figuring it out. Also not very fun.

OC: Ender wont get a chance. Its quite clear the queen and her knights have vilified the supernaturals, and are intent on wiping them all out. (Sides the entire setting of the thread would be negated if a supernatural walksin and is like 'hey i can help' and everyones like 'ok') Ender of course fits the parameters of a supernatural, so even if he's honest the humans wont find it in their hearts to trust, especially not after kitsune here torched a tavern for no reason

Athena felt a chill up her spine. Something told her this was not going to be fun. She kept her hand on a knife and chucked it at a skeleton coming near them. "Ok." She responded to Michal, "The Queen will be pleased, but let's hurry. Something about this place frightens me."

Amore smiled. "Interesting, Ender. You're going to end the Queen and Daval?" Amore whispered. It wasn't a kind one, just an interested one. "You won't wipe your "friends" out will you?" She asked.

The best way to get in on the action would be to place her at a location where people are doing a lot right now.))
Lei twisted her short sword into the spine of a skeleton, causing it to fall apart. The bones echoed with an eerie loudness around the dilapidated courtyard. Something seemed wrong. By the little information The Queen had given them about this place, there should be more than just skeletons when you first walk in. Scorch marks on the wall caught Lei's eye. They could have been from long ago when this castle was abandoned, but...
She pulled off one of her leather gloves, kicking a skeleton as it came to life, and placed her fingers lightly against the blistered stone. Still faintly warm. Judging from the original heat of whatever caused this, someone --more likely something-- came through here about a day and a half ago.
"Guys, look at this." She called her comrades over.

OC: What ender eyes said, thats the only solution I have to offer now.

Michal opened the double doors, revealing a large stair case. The light from Arcadius was about as good as a torch down here, thankfully. "Let's go." He said finally. Coming down they were in a long hallway that stretched both ways. IT was surprisingly wide, but stil wouldn't offer much protection from demons. A moment later the weirdest supernatural he had ever seen pounced from the shadows, long claws extending form it's forearms. Michal immediately reacted, ducking and thrusting his blade into the things torso, which had a gaping maw as well. The creature howled, spewing some inky black liquid that had fleshy chunks before collapsing. Michal wiped his face before kicking teh creature off his sword. "That my friends, is the EXACT sort of supernatural I was talking about." He remarked. "I can't remember much but they eat corpses and people with their central maw and can then eject said corpses in a viscous inky fluid...gross." He remarked looking at himself. "WE're in for quite a walk it would seem, I didn't think it would be that easy. Let's proceed." All around them animalistic clicks could be heard as the creatures communicated. Michal and his group did their best to navigate the hallways, an invisible presence guiding Michal.

Athena walked over to Lei. She looked over at the stone and poked it. "Strange... who would've come here..." Her words faded off, "Creatures, most likely. This'll be fun." Athena grimaced as she kicked a skeleton down behind her.

"Sigh... you're no fun Ender." Amore whispered. "Even you know the Queen and all her annoying followers wouldn't listen. What good would it do to save them?"

Kitsune sat in the back of Athena's mind, rifling through her mind as he waited for the most opportune time to screw with the humans through this girl.

"Well, there's nothing we can do besides keep our eyes peeled." Lei told Athena, slightly frustrated. She heard Michael fighting something farther on and cursed. "He's going to get himself killed if he keeps going off on his own like this." She growled, jogging towards his voice. "what is that?" Lei asked as she came up beside him, staring at the monster's corpse. Her nose wrinkled at the stench. It seemed to be coming from the black inky liquid, since she could smell it on Michael as well as the creature.

IC:

OOC: Except Kiara doesn't know about Daval, much less about the artifacts. Also, if one of the artifacts requires sea travel to get to, Kiara is going to have a ball.

Have her end up somewhere interesting by coincidence then. Like, "What are those humans doing in a ruined fortress" or something))

Athena walked over and covered her nose as she scooped up a sample with her knife. She poured the contents into a bag she brought with her. "This is... gross. I can't even come up with something to describe it. When we get back, I'll look it up in the castle's library," Athena murmured as she threw a knife at something in front of them.

OC: Why the heck does Ender have to smash through evrything
For all you know powerful magic could keep th stones from being melted or broken, which would be logical since this was a magically designed maze with the exact intent of keeping out creatures like Ender and Michal (it does have a powerful artifact) It just seems too easy, too simple, too 'deus ex machina' to basically 'smash through everything' in my opinion.

IC: Michal flicked his sword. "I don't know. It's an archaic form of supernatural thats far more dangerous and vicious then any others. Their probably comparable to that demon's minions we encountered in the forest. If we got swarmed by them we'd be screwed." He looked around, realizing they were at a four way. "Left," he said finally. "I don't know why but somethings tugging me along a predetermined path, and it just feels....right to follow." He said finally, turning left. As they bobbed and weaved through the halls he stopped as loud noiseses could be heard echoing throguh the halls. "What the hell?" He muttered. Then a few voices were heard.

"Apparantly were not alone," Michal whispered to the others. The voices carried through the halls, so they must be relatively closed. The clicking they heard also intensified, apparantly the creatures heard the noise too. Michal quietly cursed. "We need to move, now." HE took off at a faster pace, weaving left and right through the labyrinth. He stopped as he heard shuffling down the hall to his right. Holding out his hand a brilliant beam of light discahrged, illuminating down the hall as it traveled. In the distance he saw it illuminate a few dozen skeletons before the beam quietly pierce through around a quarter of them, sending the others backwards. "Don't go that way," He said quietly, advancing forward once more.

"Michal, I feel like we're being watched. Something's not right..." Athena murmured as they ran through the ancient halls of the ruins. Right as she said that, she threw 4 knives at the skeletons infront of them and picked them up when they ran by. Athena looked behind her as she thought she saw a shadow. Shaking it off, Athena pulled out her book of Creatures they'd ID'd so far, and started flipping through the pages looking for one that could follow people.

Kitsune also looked through the book through Athena. He realized his knowledge of other supernatural beings was severely limited. Luckily as Athena flipped through the pages Kitsune could read the few she stopped on.

"Forget that book." Michal said, stopping and looking down each tunnel. "Whatever you see donw here will not be recorded. I dont know of any other supernaturals then the throaters, which is what I call the creatures that spew the black ink. Their the ones making the clicking noise." He turned at a right, then stopped as it was a dead end. "Alrighty then.." He muttered, going back to the intersection. Michal felt himself fall to the ground as one of the throaters pounced on him, letting out an unearthly shriek. The mouth on its chest opened up, trying to bite through his breast plate. Michal punched it in the face, forcing the creature off of him. The creature roared, trying to slash him with its fore arm blades. Michal ducked, evading the swip and thrust Arcadius into the creature, placing his hand against the creatures head and firing a burst of light, killing it. "Their coming closer. I think we're almost to the center, let's go."

OC: So ideas fdor the supernatural thats apprantly stalking everyone? I have a feeling it ougghta be the labyrinth boss they need to fight to get the grail;
