It was another day, this time no snow to be found, but the coldness stood still in time. A cat walked out of camp and away from it. Most of the time, it was best to be walking instead of standing around, whether outside in the cold or inside, where no exercise would usually take place. Until a lower place in the ground was reached did he pause, looking at the dull sky for patterns and signs of breaking in the clouds.

Chara personally didn't mind the cold, since they had their sweater. But with hardly any movement going on around them, they felt the cold creeping in like fingers. It wasn't easy to sit still and smile like they normally did, just to blend in.
Damn this cold, they thought, standing and walking out of camp as well. The winter season was probably their new least-favorite, since they had experienced nothing but warmth and the briskness of the autumn. It was then that they saw Firth, and mostly tried to pay him no mind. But they couldn't help themselves. They padded over, waving their greeting. Maybe they could find out something about this boy.
