  • Machi narrowed her eyes, and pouted. Leaning back, she folded her arms, and decided to just watch. Abusing her Sharingan while watching was getting irritating, but she was learning, and that was worth it. Though seeing the unusual chakra swirling around Mimichi was intriguing.

Mimichi snickered. "You may have gotten stronger, Shizuka, but its much harder for you to defeat me now, heh! Just try to break my bones! They're harder than steel!" In an unusually fast burst of speed, for the Kaguya girl, she appeared next to the two. Spinning, she slammed her tail into the side of the dog. It was harder, and much stronger from the impact.

  • "Okami!"

The white wolf growled, a wall of fire returning to his paws to reveal bad state of his side. He had managed to lighten the impact by using his fire, but the hit had still gotten through.

Shizuka turned back to Mimichi, a deadly calm in her eyes that sent shivers down the spines of everybody watching, "What if I can break steel?"

Kakashi gulped, he knew that look, and it never meant anything good.

  • At Shizuka's response, Mimichi floated in the air, her wing-beats keeping her afloat, with their wispy hollowed breaths. Her lips curled under the bony maw on her bone-mask. Suddenly, little chuckles began to rise in her. Unable to contain herself, the girl bent backward, laughing loudly.

Righting herself, with gleaming eyes, she retorted in a hiss, "You better be able to. Or you don't have any chance. Let me show you something." Her wings made of unnatural folds of darkened skin curled over her, to be met with her hands in front of her. As she held them there, chakra swarmed through her body, and power began to grow, with a current of pressure emanating from her.

A figure began to form in that space between where her hands and her unnatural wings met. Looking up, and at her opponent, she announced her jutsu, "Grim Winds: Aberrant Organic Clones. Heh heh heh heh..." She unfurled her wings, and held out her hands, as a purplish wind whined through the ring, filling the place with the stench of death. Something twisted and depraved had just occurred in front of them all. Bone grew quickly, and formed markings, and hinges, and different shapes, as other bones grew from one central bone. In fact, as this formed there, it was obvious that Mimichi had just grown another person entirely -another her. It unfurled as it fell, and spread its wings, flying upward, to come into space beside the original.

Mimichi's grin could not be seen, but her hellish joy could be felt as easily as the vile wind that had stirred the arena. More bony constructs began to form in the air, shifting and sprouting their own obvious forms, until a multitude of clones that looked exactly like their master flapped in the air.

There was an innumerable amount of them. As easily created as Yasei's Shadow Clones. Minimal effort with a ocean of chakra at the creator's disposal. In fact, these clones were not entirely different than Shadow Clones, except they had the unique properties of being beings that housed everything from the parent being. -Including that insanely powerful Nature Chakra, that Machi couldn't place at the time. As Machi watched with her Sharingan, Mimichi let out a scream, before dark reddish purple chakra flew from her and hit each of her clones. Instantly, their eyes glowed to life, as the chakra took hold. However, numerous they may be, Machi could tell, that they split Mimichi's chakra up to contain their form, just like any Shadow Clone. She glanced at Shizuka, fists clenching. She hoped her teammate would not be overwhelmed by this force. "C'mon Shizuka..."

Mimichi wasted no time, and all the clones flew at Shizuka. Their properties and strength were relatively high, but as the normal issue that came with multiple clones, they did not attack with caution, and would fling themselves head first into battle, feeling immortal in numbers.

As the attacks got underway, Machi glanced over at the proctors, and senseis, and others in charge. Surely, they sensed something was up here? Mimichi performed tricks and jutsus that not common Genin would know. Surely, they could see the insane chakra control, and power she possessed? Surely, something was up with Rikuto's team? Why were they just allowing this to go on?

  • Everyone around the room had been expecting her to scream in terror or something of the like. That might have been the reason that they all stopped breathing when her lips curved into a grin.

"Claws of the Moon Goddess: Divine Retribution," Shizuka's claw-like nails started to glow with a heavenly light that lit up the room, Okami's own claws glowing with the same light in response. Together the two raked their claws across the clones, successfully taking out half of the clones each.

A ball of spinning chakra formed in Shizuka's hands as she flew towards Mimichi, blue with extremely focused chakra, "Rasengan." Shizuka forced the ball into Mimichi's ribs, the grin still on her lips.

  • Something cool about this purple, ominous wind, was the fact that it automatically, on its own, grew clones. While they smashed through many of the bone constructs, more began to form unnaturally in their air-womb as immediate replacements.

Meanwhile, Mimichi felt the hot swirling chakra connect right in her abdomen. It swirled, pressing hard like a rushing avalanche on her rib-armor. The dense material began to crack, and splinter. She let out a scream, as her Genesis mark began to retract, sucking in on itself, and leaving her un-reinforced. Just in time to take the brunt of the Rasengan shoved into her being.

  • Okami was working quickly, either snapping the heads off the clones, or raking his claws across them, he took them out by the dozens.

As Mimichi smashed into the wall behind her, Shizuka walked towards her, the fire at her feet keeping her afloat as she approached the red-haired girl. The grin on her lips had widened into her smirk, a look of sadism in her eyes, that still glowed a bright red.

Kakashi's eyes widened, a look of fear in his eyes. But the fear wasn't for Ren, it was for Mimichi. If she didn't snap out of it soon, she would kill the red-haired girl, even if Shizuka had already won.

  • As her mark withdrew in on itself, her naturally occurring and enhancing chakra began to evaporate, leaving her body in a much more threatening position. Her defenses were not as high, was the primary problem, so as soon as she was completely relieved of the forced nature chakra, she could feel the full blow of the Rasengan. The pain that spiraled like a maelstrom on her body was immeasurable. Even as she shrieked in pain, while her bones ripped away, she wasn't actually in a life-threatening position. Thanks to being a part of the Uzumaki clan; who had high thresholds for pain, and had an insane will to live.

ooc: btw shes defeated now lol

  • OOC: I just needed to make sure first XP

    IC:

As Shizuka was declared the winner, the silver-haired kunoichi smirked at the large white wolf who had come to her side, the sadism leaving her being completely. Petting his head and rubbing his soft fur, Shizuka thanked him, "Thanks Okami, I'm sorry I had to bring you into the fight."

The white wolf almost seemed to grin back at her, "It's what I'm here for, as I'll always be. Until next time, Shizuka."

Okami disappeared into a poof of smoke, leaving Shizuka looking far more tired as her appearance returned to normal. Slowly walking up the stairs that she had descended in order to reach the arena, Shizuka stopped at the top.

The silver-haired girl stepped one foot forward, only to pass out, her body dropping to the floor with a loud thump, as everything went black.

    "Shizu!"
Yasei ran from his place beside Machi, dropping to the floor beside Shizuka, lifting her up slightly in his arms so she leaned against him. The red-haired boy had to refrain from letting a scream escape his lips when Kakashi appeared out of nowhere, right behind him.

The silver-haired man placed a hand on Yasei's shoulder, "She'll be fine, she's just overexerted herself, not to mention her chakra is completely depleted."

  • ooc: haha yeah okay XD

say, so howre the fights going now? you said Machi has to fight twice, or something? So she's gunna fight Rikuto at the end Im assuming (based on plot arc lol), but does that leave her open to a fight now, or?

Mimichi had finally collased, her body falling to the ground, unconscious after the fight. Everything about the girl returned to normal. Rikuto watched enraged as his teammate lost. He was seething, ready to prove to everyone what he thought was worthy to be proven. Really, he just wanted to smash his father's team.

(Someone has to fight twice, so Machi will be against one of the victorious Konoha ninja, so either the Hyuga or the Inuzuka)

This is from what I figured out before, and it's what we have so far, so, I guess that means that Machi is up next.

  • Machi's turn was up, finally. The confident leader of team 4 stepped out into the ring, after they had spent some time fixing it up. The previous battles had destroyed a lot of the battlefield. She stood a short distance away from her opponent. Another Konoha Genin, from the Hyuga clan. Someone who she didn't have a huge past with, but had seen in passing for the most part in the Academy Days.

Shou Hyuga, was his name, of Team 2. He didn't look much different than most Hyuga. Sporting their signature style of white clothes, splotched with some dim purples. His eyes were the same, stark white orbs that seemed to be endless white pools. His hair was long, to the mid of his back, but it was spiky, and unkempt, almost feral. His headband was on his forehead like most, but it was slightly ajar, to look 'cool', supposedly. Shou was that type of person. One who acted tough, and 'cool'. He had a harsh upbringing, being not from the Main House in the Hyuga clan. He was considered second-rate, and basically a slave to the Main House.

Machi personally knew, it was Shou's goal to prove himself. To one-up the snooty Hyuga members in the Main House, and to be as reckless, and nasty as he could about it. He wasn't a mean person. He just harbored resentment. Other than that, Machi really only knew that he was primarily a Taijutsu fighter. Which most Hyuga were, as the Byakugan allowed them to spot the tenketsu of the chakra pathways. He probably understood 'Gentle Fist' quite well, if he had made it this far in the Chunin Exams. Machi readied herself. She did not want him to poke and prod her chakra circulatory system. She needed that chakra to beat him in battle after all. Narrowing her eyes, she awaited the start of the match.

She did not have to wait long.

  • "Are you sure that you should be standing?"

"I'm not missing any of my teammates' battles just because I barely won my own."

"Come on! That fight wasn't fair in the slightest and you know it!"

Shizuka sighed, her arm still slung over Yasei's shoulders, where she reluctantly kept it there. The silver-haired kunoichi knew that if she were to try to stand on her own she would only fall flat on her backside.

  • Machi glared down her opponent, "Hey, Shou," she began nicely. "If you've made it this far, I suppose I ought to be wary of your strength. 'Gentle Fist' was it? Try to be kind to me, okay? I need my chakra to fight you." She snickered at her teasing. However, she was voicing her fears. The Sharingan normally was regarded as the best ocular jutsu, but the Hyuga clan's Byakugan naturally allowed them to see the chakra circulatory system, which in combination with their signature 'Gentle Fist' taijutsu, allowed them to stab at the body's chakra points, disconnecting chakra flow.

Shou calmly snickered in return. "'Gentle Fist', eh? I've coined something a tad different... I call it - 'Loud Fist'. Would you like a demonstration?" As the battle had already been officially started, Shou made the first move. In an astonishing burst of speed, he was suddenly next to Machi. He swung his fist, and hit her right in her stomach. A short moment passed before a burst followed his attack, similar to Machi's own 'Lightning Strike Twice', except it was only physical.

Machi's body shook from the hit, and her teeth clenched in pain. What enormous strength! Following the burst, she flew backwards, and hit the wall hard enough to smash the concrete, driving the air from her. As she slid to the ground, regaining herself, Shou spoke up.

"Heh. Machi, I'm impressed," he purred, his Byakugan focusing on her. "But, you won't win this fight." His lips curled, "I say... I'll defeat you, within ten hits." He added, holding up ten fingers to represent his words. "That first one, was a freebie."

Gasping for air, Machi replied, "A-and what happens if I survive the ten hits?" she asked, her fury rising at his audacity and his arrogance.

Shou seemed surprised at her question, as if the possibility hadn't even occurred to him. "Hm, then... I'll give you a free shot to do your worst. Well? How's that sound?" He asked, his cocky attitude prevalent in the air.

Machi got to her feet, trembling in intense rage. There was always a sort of rivalry between the Sharingan and the Byakugan, but she never expected Shou to be such an asshat. How dare he think he was better than her! She'd show him, by beating his little snot nosed face in.

  • "Machi, don't let him get to you." Shizuka spoke as loud as she could, giving the Uchiha and warning look.

Meanwhile, Yasei was definitely louder, and made up for her, "Yeah Machi! You can take him down easy, so don't let him bait you!"

The silver-haired kunoichi rested her head on his chest, her arm still around his shoulders, his hand gently yet firmly grasping her own, the other gripping her waist.

  • Machi glanced up at the stands, where her teammates were, their words were meant well, but just served to fuel her anger. She didn't need 'cheerleaders' to prove herself. Glaring down Shou, she snickered. "Say, let's make this a little more interesting, shall we? I'll accept your challenge, but with a slight twist. I won't move. I'll give you your ten hits for free, how's that sound?"

Shou blinked in surprise, the hair on the back of his neck standing on end. His own blood began to boil. How dare she turn his game around on him! Clenching his fists, trembling, he responded with a sigh, "If that's how you want to play it... then fine... Ready?"

Machi, smiling, stood there, with her stance open, and nodded once. "Do your worst."

"Heh." Shou grunted, with a slight twitch of his lips. He darted at her and swung up into her stomach. The blow connected, and a sudden burst followed it. One. He hit her two more times, followed by those over the top booms that seemed to follow his 'Loud Fist' technique. Following up with a kick that sent her sky-high.

    Two. Three. Four.

He leaped into the air, following his opponent. His attacks were vicious and quick, each followed by those booms that cracked the air after each hit, resounding like thunder. BREER BREER BREER. Two punches and a hard knee to her chest. Five. Six. Seven. Shou followed up with a hard, bone-rattling uppercut to the underside of her jaw. Eight. He flipped and brought his heel down on the back of her head. BREEAM. Sending her straight towards the earth. Nine.

Machi hit the ring with a nasty impact, that rattled the arena, sending up smoke.

Shou landed a fair distance away, his chest heaving with heavy breaths. He glared towards the smoke, watching what would happen. Surely his opponent was done. Shou specialized in taijutsu. His 'Loud Fist' was the epitome of his training. Attacks that were so brokenly strong that they inflicted a sonic-like boom with each thuderous strike. He made the bet she would lose after 10 hits because he firmly believed someone could not normally last after 10 direct hits of his.

Therefore, he was stunned, when as the smoke cleared, a beaten, and battered young Uchiha woman shakenly got to her feet, hunched over, breathing heavy as well, blood dripping from her open mouth, eye clenched shut. Instantly, he spouted, "The hit from the ground doesn't count as the tenth!"

Machi, standing where she was, gasping, and suffering said. "Fine. One more."

Shou, growling, darted forward. "Yyyyahhhh!" he shouted, before slamming his fist right into her face. "NNnnnhhhhRrrah!" GRREAAH. The crack sounded and Machi was flung backwards. Her body zoomed across the ring, before smashing into the ring's wall. "T-that had to do it -...! No-no way..." He mumbled, standing there, dumbfounded, as he watched the Uchiha girl pull herself from the rubble, stagger, and finally stand before him, bloodied and beaten, but still -standing.

Machi felt the pain across her body, but she forced it down, standing there disheveled and distraught. Or she would be, if she had lost, but no, she remained standing, and that brought her some intense joy. A smile appeared on her lips. "Ten." She breathed defiantly. Cracking her neck, and her fingers, she said, "Now it's my turn."

Gathering herself, she burst towards him, charging up her jutsu -the strongest she had ever done. Lightning Strike: Fifty Times. That would be enough. She knew it. Gathering her chakra, she readied her strike, while moving towards him. She could feel the power drawing, the sparks forming. Lightning Cloak. A cloak of lightning formed over her shoulders, giving her increased speed, and strength. But... not even that was enough. She just couldn't form the jutsu. She just didn't have what it took for the 'Fifty Strikes'. Cursing her weakness, she was upon him; close enough to see the fear in his eyes. Even though she couldn't exactly do the jutsu she wished, she would still give it her all to put this asshole down. "Lightning Strikeeeeeeee: Thirty Times!" She shouted, before striking him in the chest, a burst of electricity firing out afterward, blue sparks flying out everywhere, lightning bolts trailing from Shou's body along the ground.

As she zapped him with her jutsu, she could feel the power behind her attack. She could feel the damage he was enduring as her took the brunt of her technique. She knew that this damage wasn't minimal, but as he flew away, she could still feel the life in him, and as he careened into his own side of the wall, she knew -oh she knew; Machi knew that he was not down for the count. Shou wasn't defeated with her freebie attack. Narrowing her eyes, she steeled herself, readying to continue, even while she was on the brink of passing out.

    This battle was not over.

  • "Come on, Machi," Yasei muttered underneath his breath, his hold on the white-haired kunoichi tightening as he watched their teammate fight, feeling restless as ever.

Shizuka squeezed Yasei's hand, as if in reassurance. Yasei looked down at her in shock, not expecting the sudden behaviour. However, a grin soon split across his lips, There's no way anybody in our team could be defeated.

  • Shou climbed back to his feet, his clothes nearly ruined; tatters singed, and clinging to him loosely. His breaths were quick, and he had some black scorched marks on his skin. "Heh, not bad.. I didn't expect such a powerful attack, honestly," he complimented. Narrowing his eyes, he continued, "but clearly, it wasn't enough. I see, Machi, you're almost ready to fall down. How's say we end this?"

"You're barely standing yourself," Machi commented, clenching her fists, her vision was blurring. "But I concur - let's finish this." How though? She wondered to herself. Her speed was her most useful trait, usually, but Shou's was on par. Or at least close enough to it. His resilience seemed to surpass hers, and his attacks were more devastating then she'd like to admit. Oh well, no time to contemplate, what must be done. It was time to act.

Both competitors flew at each other, with the lightning cloak igniting itself around Machi once more. However, it was imperfect, and singed her body. Together, the two were in a flurry of blows. Her fists and kicks sparked electricity through Shou, and for the most part, Machi attempted to avoid his attacks. Every other attack, however, landed. Short bursts of strength seized her form; his Loud Fist technique was putting an increasing strain on her body.

Eventually, the two slid away from each other, both breathing heavily, and both battered to near nonrecognition. Machi had had no idea the Hyuga before her would pose such a problem. If it had been suggested to her before the fight, she would've laughed in whoever had suggested it's face. She had to end it though.

Electricity sparked over Machi, and her hair began to raise. With stance widened, she let out a scream. Blue sparks circled into her eyes, coursing through the Sharingan. Zzzsst Zzzhhht! With one final burst of electrical current, her three tomoe Sharingan revealed themselves. Missing one tomoe. Her eyes were uneven, with one eye sporting the usual three tomoe, and one eye sporting, instead, two tomoe once again. Machi gasped, once she realized what had occurred. Floating just beyond her back, in midair, was a bright blue electrical energy formed in the shape of a tomoe. Seemingly coming to her, Machi breathed, "One-Tomoe True Lightning Cloak..."

Suddenly, a wave went through her. It was power like none she had previously felt before. As the tomoe floated just beyond her, sparking and sizzling, she could feel power radiating from it. Or rather, she felt chakra coursing its way back through her veins. Like... like she was being recharged -or something. Like a battery. A battery for chakra.

With a smile, and a short laugh, she clenched her fist and sparks lifted off of her. "Okay, here I come Shou!" She dashed forward, feeling renewed, and stronger. "Lightning.... Strike.... " She readied her jutsu, as she neared the Hyuga, who now, was taking a wary defensive stance. "Lightning Path..." She whispered, forming into a bolt of lightning, she zapped quickly behind him, much to his surprise.

Appearing just behind him, in a flash of an instant, her punch reeled back. "True Lightning Style! Lightning Strike -THROUGH!" Her fist connected with his back, and a blue bolt of electricity fired out of boy's chest, scorching the ground in front of him. As her attack barraged him with electricity he screamed, until his eyes went blank, and he fell to the floor.

Landing on her feet, the electrical tomoe that had floated just beyond her back disappeared, and reappeared in her eye, just before her Sharingan faded. Gasping she fell to her knees, the victor of the match.
