  • He was silent for a few moments then said, "I don't know. I'm not sure if I would do anything.." It was a guarded response, as if he was closing her off from any detailed answers to her questions, yet it almost seemed as if his responses were always empty.

    (Really? Why?)

  • Malice looked at him, wondering why he seemed defensive about it. "Are you sure? I mean, wouldn't you at least be a bit curious about who you were before?" She questioned, deciding to dig just a tiny bit to see if he had at least something more to say to her than that.

(Well, it just happens she acts like a raccoon and gets into every single thing. I don't know how she does it, but she just does. There's nothing you can hide from her. It is pretty amusing sometimes, but she quickly comes to be a pain in the butt. and that's why I love her.)

  • Wulfgar's cold gray eyes focused on her, the cold depths icy, "No, because my life as it is, is a living hell." He turned his gaze away from her, "I wouldn't want to remember anything in my past if I had forgotten everything." Well, the answer was certainly bitter and angry, clear by his tone and the look in his eyes. Yet, anything else being revealed would he difficult to try to get him to talk about.

(Well, that's better than my cat. He very moody and unpredictable sometimes so he bites and scratches at random.)

  • (My cat is like that too sometimes. She is pretty silly at times, too.)

Malice bit her lip, feeling like she did badly on that one. Slowly, she moved over so she was sitting beside him. "Sorry, I didn't mean the question like that..." She said, letting her shoulders drop. Carefully, Malice looked at the fire, thinking about what she could say.

  • Wulfgar didn't make eye contact with her as he continued to watch the surrounding forest, though he did scoot a little bit over to provide more room for her. Well, or to put a little distance between them, but who really knew Wulfgar's thoughts anyways? However he just simply said, "You said nothing wrong. It was a simple question, that's all."

(My cat is just... ugh. I just feel neutral about him. Can't say that o hate him but I'm not too fond of him either)

  • Malice looked back into the forest silently. There was this feeling tugging at the back of her mind. She wanted to get up and walk around, it felt like they were being watched. Watched by the dark. "... Do you get paranoid easily?" She questioned softly, hoping that she wasn't the only one who had this feeling.

  • Wulfgar's hand slowly slipped to the hilt of his sword, his eyes narrowing, "Being paranoid is the only thing that had kept me alive so far." He seemed on guard, suddenly very on edge and wary.

  • Malice slowly rose to her feet. She heart rustling in the leaves, but wasn't sure if it was just another squirrel or something bigger than that... Either way, now wasn't the time for her to think it was a squirrel. But she tried to hide this by stretching and moving away from Wulfgar.

  • Wulfgar had tensed up, his eyes narrowing as his jaw clenched. He was far too focused upon the noise to pay much attention to Malice. He was in fact, ready to get up quickly to draw his sword and fight, yet he continued to sit and wait.

  • The rustling got louder this time, and seemed to be coming from several directions. Malice backed up slowly towards the forest in case she had to run away. Just as she was nearly at the edge, a large creature ran out from the forest, a deer of some sort. It charged right towards Wulfgar. Malice tensed, and felt a cold hand grab her collar and yank her backwards into the trees.

  • Wulfgar immediately unsheathed his sword, swifting swinging the blade with one hand, making it connect with the strange deer's shoulder as he relished the feeling of his blade cleanly cutting through flesh, his other hand had took his scabbard and bashed the deer over the head with it. Since it was a spurr of the moment action, Wulfgar really couldn't get a lethal blow, yet a surge of anxious frustration took hold of him as soon as he saw Malice was gone, "D*mn!"

  • Corriander tugged Malice along, the woman had managed to miss all branches in her frenzied effort to get Wulfgar's attention. Malice decide to yell out, But Corriander covered her mouth, still dragging the stumbling woman along. I don't know what I was thinking, knocking you out and giving you amnesia like I did. I should have known that with you luck you'd run into him. He'll slaughter you as soon as he finds out what you really are, Malice. I know you'll hate me after this, but I have to keep you safe. The vampire thought, looking up to make sure they weren't found out yet.

(Whoops. Forgot to reply to what ya said. Yeah, most cats are like that. I mean, I love all animals, but I can see why you'd be neutral or possibly even dislike your cat a bit.)

  • Wulfgar, stabbing the deer in frustration once more before beheading it, quickly turned towards the horse he had. His hands grabbed the reins of the frightened animal as it tossed its head. Wulfgar quickly got upon the horse, well more familiarly his stallion and urged the horse to go in the direction he saw where Malice was last. His facial expression was one burning with rage and a scowl had crossed his face. It was... clear to say that he wasn't too pleased.

(Yeah. Though my first cat was a Maine Coon mix, and she was also dwarfed but she was so cute and nice. She acted more like a dog, yet since she was so sick it wasn't long after that she died and we got... the demon cat Darwin..)

  • Coriander heard a ruckus behind them. That guy realized Malice was gone already!? Coriander picked up her speed. But, once again, Malice managed to surprise her. Somehow, her friend had managed to get the girl to stumble and fall backwards. With a grunt, Coriander shoved her friend away.

(We had this cat, Gracie, that lived around the house, we used to see her all the time. This adorable, practically stick cat. The neighbor fed her as much as she could, but she was always so thin. She was such a sweetie.)

  • Wulfgar forced his stallion to charge through the dense undergrowth as a scowl continued to deepen upon his face, growing more and more agitated and angry as the seconds ticked by. However, he heard a distinctive sound ahead and he called out, worry actually creeping into his voice, "Malice? Malice!?"

(Aww, that's cute. My little kitten never gained weight no matter how many times we fed her a lot of food. It was.. really sad when she died.)

  • (Aww. I stopped seeing Gracie, too. I think the neighbor just put her inside the house because she was so sick. Our neighbor has so many cats, not all of them are hers, but it's hilarious to see how many there are that hang around their house. They even had kittens one time.)

"Over he-" Malice tried to call out, but Coriander lunged at her and covered her mouth to keep her from shouting. On instinct, Malice shoved her elbow into Coriander's gut and made the vampire double over in pain. I didn't think Malice actually paid attention in self defense class. Oww... She though, then decided it was hopeless, and that she should escape while she had the chance. So, Coriander fled into the forest as fast as she could.

  • Wulfgar pull back harshly upon the reigns of the stallion as soon as he spotted Malice. Jumping down without a moment's hesitation, he went over quickly, his tone almost seemed angry, yet there was no denying the relief and worry in his eyes, "Malice, are you okay?" However, he took to checking her body for wounds, checking her arms, neck, legs... pretty much a thorough, sudden check up... possibly even embarrassing to a point, possibly even perverted if one didn't know what he was doing, yet Wulfgar clearly was concerned for her.

(I wish I could have another cat in my house, but Darwin is just aggressive towards other cats.)

  • (So is my cat. I think she takes her aggression on the other cats on the carpet and her scratching post. It's a wonder the furniture isn't just a big pile of stuff all over the floor at this rate.)

"Yeah, I'm fine. Whoever that was didn't hurt me, just trying to drag me somewhere, I guess." Malice said "Whatever is was, it's gone now." Malice walked over so she was beside him, she could tell that he looked concerned when he looked over at her. "Are you alright as well? I think I saw a deer or something run out at you."

  • He relaxed only slightly, seeing that she was alright. He moved away from her, "It wasn't anything I couldn't handle." His facial expression looked grim for a few moments, as if lost in thought.

  • "Well, looks like we've been found, should we keep moving forwards?" Malice said, as much as she wanted to stay, that attack had her spooked. She didn't trust herself not to faint out of fear. If she fainted, then... Well, that probably wasn't a good thing if that... creature... came back.
