    Pretty much this happened except Peach isn't holding the star and instead of Bowser just kidnapping Peach and the castle, he took Joey as well, and Kamek shot Mario even further into space than before. And it's not the Star Festival, it's just a random party (and you know there's no letter)

    Eggman could see what happened at the mushroom kingdom through a drone that was there


    (I personally think the plan he had in Mario Galaxy 1 was Bowser's best plan
