  • Skye stumbled out of her cell, one of the doctors helping her around. She occasionally got a visitor, Sebastian Castellanos, since he was kinda her outside caretaker after she saw a murder. Her white-blond hair drifted around her neck, since she liked it short before perking up at her name called. A smile creeped its way onto her face as she saw Sebastian, and the doctor let her walk on her own over to the detective.

(xD, I'm makin' this before everything starts, then she gets dragged in. Skye is my oc, and the murder is the case the detectives are coming off of in the beginning of TEW.)

  • (Got it ;) for future reference my OC's name is Nevii)

Sebastian walked idly down the hall after one of the doctors had let him in to see Skye. He had been visiting her often after the murder she had witnessed. He didn't mind her presence so often either. He saw her almost as a younger sister to him but none the less he had a limit, so said the doctor, to talk to her today. "Hello, Skye" he said, a small ghost of a smile letting it's way on his features. Sebastian didn't smile much after Myra but on rare occasions it did happen.

Meanwhile the girl who had been with Sebastian when he came here sat in the waiting room. One leg crossed over the the other as she listened through her earbuds. She was listening to a police radio scanner. Her brownish red hair making its way slightly over one of her green eyes. She was close to Sebastian, he was like a father to her, so she knew a lot about what happened in the police force. But she didn't know everything and that bothered her slightly. "Sounds like there's something going on at Beacon..." She mumbled before shutting off her phone and pulling the earbuds out and letting out a soft sigh. Rolling her eyes slightly she thought of that myth she had been told, about the doctor at Beacon who went schizophrenic and killed his patients.

  • Skye waved slightly, "H-hey Sebby..." She stuttered, since she had a similar speaking problem like Leslie at Beacon. "A-any news o-on the c-case?" She asked curiously, heading over to the table they usually sat at together. The patient sat down in her usual spot, pulling out a little gift she made Sebastian. A little figurine made from soap, which mimicked him well.

Joseph perked up, having been forced to come with. "Beacon, eh? Always the mental hospitals..." The Canadian sighed, shaking his head in dismay. He fixed his vest and gloves, before heading over to the nurse to see if he could get let in to check on Sebastian and the girl.

  • Sebastian sat down at the table and shook his head slightly. "Nothing yet, our investigators are still searching for evidence, but I promise you if we find anything you'll be one of the first to know" he said with a firm nod of his head. One of his hands instinctively roamed to the pocket of his light brown trench coat, only then to remember that the nurse had made him empty his pockets before he came in. He easily pulled his hand from his pocket at the thought, he had never drank or smoked before Myra, now was a different story. Catching a glimpse of something the girl had he perked up a bit. "What do you have there Skye?" He asked tilting his head slightly. Though he had a guess, due to the light smell of soap.

Nevii turned her head slightly at the Japanese Canadians words. For a second she had honestly forgot he was there, which was hard to believe if you knew Nevii. "They are mental hospitals, I'd almost expect something to happen at Beacon, or any of them for that matter, at this point" she shrugged her shoulders a bit and watched as he went over to the nurse. I already tried, and if they let you in I will be seriously hurt Joseph she thought returning to her phone for a moment to see if there were any updates. It was really the only thing to ease the nosey girls conscience. Her mind then wandered a bit to the small amount of childhood contact she had had with Joseph. She was only four years younger, and when she was younger she had the biggest crush, now she controlled herself and wasn't fond of being reminded of it.

  • Skye rubbed the back of her neck before setting the little figurine infront of him. "T-this.." she murmured a bit hesitantly, before putting her hands in her lap. It was the only thing she was allowed to mess with in her cell, soap bars that were changed out every morning and night. So, she just picked away at this one until it had looked like Sebastian.

Joseph frowned when the nurse told him to sit back down, so he did respectfully. Crossing his arms, he narrowed his eyes behind his glasses a bit, which was quite weird. Maybe it was just his thinking, but he believed that the girl should come with them to Beacon. "Nev, do you think the witness should come with us to Beacon? Today? I mean, she suffers from paranoia, and hallucinations, so she might as well."

  • Sebastian smiled a bit at the small figure that had a very good likeliness to him. "It's really good Skye" he tilted his head slightly. He picked it up and looked it over. "You even got my stubble..." He mumbled running his thumb absent-mindedly over the stubble of facial hair he had. "How long did it take you to make this?" He asked turning his gaze to her when he did so.

Nevii looked up slightly when she heard that little nickname. Listening to the question she thought for a moment, then shrugged her shoulders. "It's her doctors choice...but in all honesty I kinda do think so, yeah" he said looking up at Joseph. "I've seen odder people go into Beacon but with the paranoia mostly, I'd say that would actually be reasonable" she said turning herself slightly to face him better. "Why?" She asked simply, wondering why the male had thought of that. There were the obvious reasons, but he wasn't an obvious thinker. And she knew that well enough to ask his reasoning.

  • Skye shrugged, "S-since I was p-put in here..." She replied, tilting her head as she remembered at the little details she put into the little figurine. Hell, she even got the cigarettes in his pocket. How she knew about that, was another question.

"She witnessed a murder, and Sebastian would be able to see her a bit easier. Because, if he left her alone after this case, she would prolly fall apart." Joseph replied with a soft shrug, knowing that had happened to other witnesses. He lined up the facts, and the effects, and the possibilities.

  • "Thinking deep into it again I see?" She smiled slightly and jumped a bit as her phone suddenly buzzed on her lap. That usually meant an update sent to her via her police scanner. She turned on her phone and read the notification silently. "It seems bad...they've got quite a few police cars there already..." He said taking a glance up at Joseph. "You know anything about this?" She asked wondering if he had been informed. She knew that Kidman would be here soon, but if Sebastian and Joseph were needed, Connelly would be coming to.

    Sebastian gave a small smile as he examined the figure. His phone, that the nurses had let him keep only because of his work, buzzed in his pocket. It was a text from Kidman;

Sorry to interrupt you Seb, Connelly and I will be outside the place shortly to pick up you and Joseph

He tilted his head a bit at the text. He usually got 30 minutes to an hour here. Must be what's going on at Beacon... he thought for a moment. "Sorry Skye, just a text from one of my coworkers" he said nodding his head slightly.

  • "I do, Kidman messaged me earlier about it. Nothin' seems to have calmed down for a long while." Joseph sighed, shaking his head. He sat up a bit, taking off his glasses and rubbing his eyes. To be honest, he hadn't gotten a lot of sleep since they had started this case. The detective had been hell bent on finding who was the murderer.

"I-its alright..." Skye assured before her doctor came over. She winced away slightly, before the doctor turned to Sebastian. "Any chance you're going to Beacon? Skye needed to be transferred there this morning, but you had an appointment with her made, so I made sure she hadn't left yet." The doctor spoke, crossing his arms curiously.

  • "Weird..." Nevii mumbled before looking up at him. She tilted her head slightly and rested a hand on her shoulder. "Not much sleep lately?" She asked. Anyone could tell really, and she at least knew how he was when he was working due to Sebastian telling her. "The police force needs more people like him...but when he wants answers he might not sleep for weeks until he gets them" she recalled the words vividly in her mind.

Sebastian looked up at the doctor and nodded. "Most likely, there's a lot going on though and I'm not sure if it's sa-" he was cut off by the doctor who obviously wasn't listening to the second part of his sentence. Sebastian was told he and his partner could take her to Beacon. The doctor said 'could' but it was obvious that they didn't have much choice.

  • "No... We've had to catch a murderer, and so I needed to know that they needed to be caught..." Joseph yawned softly, shaking his head and shrugging off her hand. He slipped his glasses on, blinking a few times for his eyes to focus before looking over at Nevii.

Skye growled for the doctor to go away, which he did gladly. The doctor vanished down the hall as Skye turned back to Sebastian. "S-safety doesn't matter...As long as I get out of here...." She muttered, being honest since they had found her with a gun aimed at the door near the victim of the murder.

  • "Sounds like you and Sebastian have been working pretty hard on this case" she sighed a bit turning her gaze away. And all I do is listen to the police scanners...wish I could help more, though he really should get more sleep it's not healthy for him she thought shaking her head a bit. Picking up her phone as the tone for a text came up. "Kidman" she said out loud reading the text. "Looks like she came to pick you and Sebastian up...heading to...Beacon?" she paused. They were going to Beacon? She couldn't say it surprised her but something made her feel uncomfortable. She couldn't pinpoint why.

Sebastian sighed and shook his head. "Innocent until proven guilty...people need to remember that, plus there's not much evidence against you except for..." He didn't finish that thought. Just stood up, picking up the sculpture she had made him and placing it in his pocket. "Come on, my coworker should be getting here soon and I've got my partner and a friend of mine in the waiting room" he said offering a hand to help her up. He, or someone in the KCPD would have to watch her while they investigated Beacon.

  • Joseph sighed, "Great." He stood up slightly when he saw Skye's doctor walk past with a grin, knowing something wasn't right. The detective glanced to his coworker.

Skye gently grabbed his hand, standing. Another patient handed her a jacket, before leaving the area as she slipped it on. The 'suspect' in other words, looked back to Sebastian before heading towards where they would leave.

  • Nevii took quick notice of the doctors grin. She knew that doctor to be Skye's doctor. "That's...unsettling" she murmured taking a glance up at Joseph who she guessed had taken notice of it to.

Sebastian nodded his head slightly and walked out toward the waiting room to retrieve Joseph and Nevii. When he exited with Skye he knew he would most likely have to explain why they were bringing her to Beacon. Nevii raised an eyebrow when Sebastian came out, then it clicked, they wanted to get rid of a murder suspect...don't they know it's not safe? she thought looking up at Joseph then to Sebastian, silently wondering what reactions the others would have.

  • Joseph seemed to narrow his eyes, "So that's why the doctor was grinning giddily." He grumbled before standing up with a sigh, "I guess we're bringing the suspect with?" He asked Sebastian.

Skye winced at the word 'suspect', before shaking her head. She glanced hesitantly at Joseph and Nevii, before her gaze travelled to the ground, her feet being her 'object' she was staring at.

  • "Her doctor wanted us to bring her to Beacon, she was to be transferred there as is...I tried to tell him it wasn't safe but he didn't seem to want to listen" Sebastian crossed his arms over his chest and looked at Nevii. "I'm guessing you got the text from Kidman?" He asked earning a nod from the girl. "Yeah, her and Connelly should be here by now" she said putting her phone in her pocket. "That doctor seemed all to happy to get rid of her...wonder why, I mean she is a suspect but still..." She mumbled under her breath, thinking for a moment before giving up on the thought and returning her gaze to Sebastian who was already leading the way outside where Kidman and Connelly already waited in the police car. "If it's to cramped I could just walk home, I know it's not the biggest in those cop cars" she shrugged her shoulders a bit.

  • Joseph glanced at Nevii, "No, you'll come with, just go in another vehicle." He said aloud, before heading to where the cop car was located. The detective glanced back up at Nevii, before motioning towards another Copcar nearby.

Skye followed Sebastian, not really leaving his side even though he was a bit faster than her. Her Violet gaze looked around in amazement, having been forever since she was outside. A smile made its way back onto her face, happy to be out of that hellhole.

  • Nevii rolled her eyes a bit but nodded anyways. "Alright" she said simply as she walked over to the other cop car. He was quick to shoot down the idea of me walking home, I forgot he's good with a gun she snickered inwardly at her own sense of humor. "I wonder what's going on at Beacon...there's been so many cop cars there...so many enforcements...but nothing has come back positive" she thought shaking her head. Figuring it would be best not to think so hard on it until they got there.

Sebastian escorted Skye to the cop car. Connelly being curious at first, asking Sebastian if he had told the doctor that it wasn't safe, to which Sebastian replied with a simple "yes". He opened the door and let Skye in the car next to Kidman, then getting in the front seat.

  • Skye slipped in beside Kidman, who gave her the biggest 'Who are you' look. She ignored the female detective as Joseph slipped in beside her. He closed the door and motioned for Connelly to head off. He obviously wasn't liking being next to the girl.

  • Nevii entered the extra cop car and followed Connelly as he drove off. Glad, for once, that the cop cars had trackers she could use to get updates. As they pulled out it was static. But after about five minutes a voice came on the radio.

"All units, all units please respond"

Was all she got before static overtook her radio once more.

Sebastian listened to Connelly's apology for having them come to this new case while they were already on a case. "Hey maybe it's that doctor who went schizo and chopped up all his patients" the older male joked taking a glance at Kidman, Joseph, and Skye in the back of the car. Also making sure Nevii was still following, which she was.
