  • Bloody Mary's are a rare breed of vampires. Their defining feature if their striking crimson eyes and hair. They can't be killed by the regular means, garlic and crosses don't scare them; stabbing the heart and burning them does nothing but hinder them shortly. Removing there blood can make them anemic or fall unconscious. The only ones who can kill these beings are powerful exorcists, exorcists of only the purest households. Your character is one of theses priests, the son of a powerful exorcist. One day a red haired boy breaks into your home, begging you to kill him.

    Rozan Marshal
    Rose
A Bloody Mary who wants nothing more than to die.

Rose found the door surprisingly easy to break open. The barriers set up had no affect on the vampire as he easily stepped through. Bloody Mary's were fearsom beasts, it was a good thing they only appeared once every hundred years. A Bloody Mary's bite only made ordinary vampires too. The sweet scent almost stung his nose as he traversed the chapel, following it to a bedroom that he slowly opened. He peered inside quietly, glowing red eyes scanning the dark room for any sign of the young exorcist. The one who could finally end his life.

  • Samson Ugashi

Samson was asleep when he felt the change in the barrier. His eyes instantly popped open and he rubbed his eyes. It woukd be a bit before anyone else noticed. He had always been prettt intune with barriers but it made it worse that he had set it up.

Something or someone was powerful enough to not fry when touching that barrier. It was then that he heard the door start to open. Samson quickly made it look like he was still asleep. Under his lashes he could make out the glowing red eyes. He reached for the sword that he kept hidden and prepared for battle.

  • (That's funny Sampson is my mothers maiden name. XD)

He slowly started inside, barely making a noise as almost seemed to glide over the floor with ease. He followed his nose, the stronger the priest the nicer the smell. He stopped at the foot of Sampsons bed and gently ran his hand from the bedpost to the covers. He grabbed them in his claws and slowly tugged at it to try and pull it off of the priest. He hadn't realized that he was armed.

  • ((Oh wow lol Oh! the spirit manifestation of his sword is up there. I don't know if you want to or not but I thought as a possible plot point later Samson's sword could end up breaking and he isn't sure how to manifest his energy..? ))

As soon as the covers fell off Samson sprung up and onto the vampire. He had the sword poised just above the heart and his eyes were narrowed. "Just make one wrong move and that will be the last thing you ever did. Now tell me what a creature like you is doing in our sacred household."

The sword was Samson's medium of choice for his spirit energy. It was long and thin but thrummed with energy. That energy was what gave the sword a glow as he held it.

  • (Alright! That sounds like a good idea!)

He smiled. Actaully that was an understatement, he was practically emitting light himself with how happy he looked. "If... I don't tell you will you kill me?" He chuckled. "Well I had a place in mind but this church is pretty so I wouldn't mind dying here. But if your gonna do it can It be in the main room under the pretty stained glass?" He chattered away as if they were friends. He didn't seem that threatening for a Bloody Mary, he just seemed kinda dumb.

  • Samson stared at him as if he had grown two heads. Was this guy just playing with him? The kid seemed pretty sincere which caused Samson to hesitate. He got ready to speak when he heard foot steps approaching.

"I better not regret this: he mumbled before grabbing the vamp in an attempt to lead him to his bed. It would be easy to hid him there. The footsteps got closer and closer as Samson worked on the hiding spot.

  • The vampire let him lead him to the bed. This time he was the confused one. He was a vampire so why was he helping him. As he was hidden in the bed he found his senses overwhelmed by the sweet scent of the priest. His face flushed, a rare for vampires. Vampires usually were only flushed when drinking blood. He lay still as he listened for the footsteps that were approaching.

  • Samson layed there with the blankets covering the vampire. He had done his best to cover the vampire with pillows and such so the others would no realize. The vampire had hidden not a moment too soon because the guards and the high priest ran.

"Samson are you alright", his father asked.

    "Yes reverend one."

"Alright, keep a look out. The boundary has been bipassed."

"Oh! Alright. I'm sorry I didn't feel it and have let you down."

"No Samson it's quite alright. We just will have to work on it some more."

    "Yes reverend one."

Samson's father and the guards left. He waited for the footsteps to dissappear before pulling back all the blankets and moving out of bed.

  • The vampire jumped out as soon as they left and flew to the opposite wall. He held his throat as he breathed heavily. "No. I don't need it. I don't need it!" He coughed a few times and bit his thumb, trying to erase the scent from his memory. "Why... Did you save me?" He asked in the middle if his little breakdown. "You... You know I came here to die right? To finally be rid of this curse..."

  • Samson studied the vampire and shurgged,"I don't really know myself. It just felt like that's what I was supposed to do." That didn't keep his hand from resting on the sword though. "You better get out of here and fast. They will expect to see me soon and I won't be able to protect you when they come back."

  • He crossed his arms and leaned against the wall with an irritated look. "No. I came here to die so why should I leave? Besides, I won't die even if I'm burned alive. Believe me, I've tried." He sighed as irritation changed to sorrow. "I just want this nightmare to end. I just want to go to sleep and never wake up..."

  • Samson frowned, "Why would you want to die? Don't you want to live forever? have eternal youth and what not?" He wasn't quite sure what this vampire was thinking. Didn't they all want to live forever?

  • He laughed at him, perhaps a little too loudly. "Why? Why would I want to live in this cursed world, in this cursed form? Everything I've ever known or loved is dead. Most of them because of me." He sighed and smiled. "My name is Rozan but you can call me Rose! Well... Guess that doesn't matter does it? Your just going to kill me afterall... Er, you are going to kill me right?"

  • Samson hesitated and looked down at his sword. It didn't help that he now had a name to put to the creature he was set to kill. He couldn't bring himself to draw his sword and as a response he shook his head. The footsteps had started to head back and Samson glanced at the vampire. It would not have an easy death if it was captured.

All vampires that had been captured in this house had been sent to the confines where they were deprived of blood and made to die a slow death. Samson had never liked that death and often found it to be just as monstrous as the beings they were hunting. Still, he kept his head down and played the part of a child who was lacking in skill and ability. It kept him out of the spotlight and allowed him to blend in with everyone else.

  • "Y'know..." Rozan mumbled. "You have a really nice smell. Have you often had troubles with vampires?" He moved closer to him red eyes sparkling. "I wouldn't be surprised. Your scent led me right here, I thought for sure you were a very powerful priest..." He leaned in slightly and lingered by his neck a moment before quickly pulling back. "S-sorry... Lost myself for a minute... Your scents just too strong."

  • Samson had frozen when the vampire came close to him. A small part of him wanted to be bitten and he shook his head. That wasn't right, he was a priest, he didn't want to be bitten by one of those creatures. He kept a steady hand on his sword but didn't draw it. He waited for the creature to make a threatening move but relaxed when it stepped back. "You need to go. They will be here any second and then I can't help you."

He didn't answer the vampires question but didn't need to. The vampire's nose wasn't lying to him and Samson was that powerful. He had been slowly working on his skill set and practicing when no one else was around. There he could shift his ability but still fit in at the house. His father was the head and being able to surpass him would but Samson in a dangerous spot. He liked not being seen as a threat as he floated under the radar.

  • Rose shrugged, nonchalantly. "Then you have to promise to kill me in the place I want to die. Deal?" He chuckled softly. "Besides it's not like they can kill me so easily. You have to set up a ritual. If you don't know it I can teach it to you." He stuck out his hand, his nails long like claws. "So do we have a deal Mr. Priest? Save my soul?"

  • Samson hesitated but finally took the creatures hand. That would at least be better than what his father had in store. "Alright fine, I'll find a way to save your soul. Now get going alright?"

  • He pulled him forward suddenly and gave him a peck on the lips. With a wink and a cheeky, sharp fanged, grin, he leaped out the window and took off down the street. Whatever story they were on didn't bother him in the slightest.

The figure of a woman in the moonlight twirled her parasol as she watched the boy scamper off into the night. "What a troublesome boy. I'll have to teach him a lesson." She turned away and ordered the men behind her off before she dissapeared into the night, melting into the dark.

(So should we Timeskip? Do you have any plots you want to play out?)

  • (( We can timeskip if you want? My only idea that I had was that Rozan shows up one day while Samson is cleaning? He could have found the place and wants Samson to leave right away. Samson gets ready to say something when another priest sees and goes to kill Rozan. Samson could protect Rozan and that could be what causes Samson to leave? Just an idea lol I don't really care either way :) ))
