History .
When Xina was born, her mother, Amelia, unfortunately died giving birth. Amelia had been a pureblood witch and had married a Spanish Muggle, Jax, Xina's father. Jax knew very little about magic but had known that his wife was a witch and wasn't surprised when he discovered Xina shared her mother's gifts. Though while she was younger she attended a Muggle elementary school and kept her talents a secret, as soon as she graduated elementary school Jax sent her to the nearest school for magic beings.
And so Xina attended her new school for two years. She wasn't the best student at actual magic, and was better when it came to written work and theory than she was doing practicals. Before she could move on to her third year, Jax announced they would be moving to England as he had been offered a really well-paying job nearby where a few of Amelia's relatives lived. During the summer break, they bought a house in England and Xina transferred to the magic school Hogwarts, where she is now.
