Hello. I am a relatively old and experienced member of FF [on a new account], having worked my way up over the years from writing 'flowerpaw flicked her tail' to uber-advanced posts in a wide variety of boards on this site. I am now inactive and only currently post on the Hogwarts board, but I have experienced almost every change to this site over the past however-many years.
Recently I have, after reading several threads asking the staff questions, become very aware that there is a lot of confusion surrounding certain matter. However, the questions being posed by the community are not being answered as they could be, simply because a few of them may well be coming off as rude or pushy to Dynamo and the other staffers currently here.
This is not the intention of my thread. I have simply created this in an effort to make both asking questions and answering them as easy and peaceful as possible. I have been reading the threads posted, such as Felix's [here] and Chuman's [here], and from them I have collected the main points being proposed into a set of points and a set of questions to be answered by Dynamo in his own time.
It is understood that Dynamo and Wynn have already posted saying that they are being driven away by the point to which these thread spiral 'out of control' - however, I ask you to simply try once more to answer questions in a thread that is simply asking for them with no intention to be rude. It is my belief that, if both sides just put a little more effort into listening and speaking, this whole thing could still be made much clearer than it has been. It is awful that absolutely no one feels comfortable here, but I don't think that that should be a reason for dropping an issue that is still confusing everybody.
Unfortunately, the posting of things such as gifs with people eating popcorn, or even the posting of people's own agreements and arguments, are drowning the main questions and overwhelming staff with questions. It is making the threads seem pushy and the staff feel as if they are being trolled/bullied, which will only lead to unnecessary punishments and a lengthened argument.
Please do not interpret this as me attempting to speak for the entire community here. I am writing this on behalf of myself as well as a group of advanced RPers that I have been taking the opinions of. I have also interpreted my points and questions from the posts already written on this board, and would love to hear more opinions from all sides.
So the rules: [these do not apply to staff]
- Please track as much as you can, to avoid the death of this thread before answers are given.
- All questions/points proposed by other RPers will remain anonymous, but I will not post them if I consider them rude, or suspect that they are simply written to bait/provoke the staff.
- Please do not post anything else; if you have a legitimate point, question or argument that you would like to add to this post please PM me and I will add it to the main post, or you can add it to Felix's thread above. This is to make it clearer for Dynamo to answer our questions.
- Please do not post things like humorous gifs implying tha
- Please do not post things like humorous gifs implying that you are only here to see the 'spectacle' that unfolds. They are partly what is making these threads seem immature and therefore dismissing any discussion put forward by the community.

Points
1. Us members do appreciate the effort that staff is putting in to answering our questions. We understand that it does take time, and this post is not an effort to provoke or insult the staff in any way, shape or form.
2. The situation of the staff has been discussed a lot lately by those on all sides of this - however, whilst they have been described as going on a 'power trip', it is important to note that the community is behind them; they are not just acting on greed or a need for power.
3. The community does not currently feel as if it has an 'identity'.
4. The community feels that there was much more clear communication between staff and members when the forum was WCRPG.
5. There is an unbelievable wide range of people on this site, but many of them are not currently happy with the answers they have been given. Some of them are children, and are therefore confused at what is happening and do not understand the information they have, and some of them are competent teenagers and adults, who feel as if those same answers are, perhaps, not quite taking them seriously.
6. Any questions given do not need to be rushed, but are needed b quite a few people. Please take your time when answering them, but I have tried my best to make them simple so that a lot of time is not needed to give a thoughtful enough answer. All I ask is for answers that are honest.
7. Whilst we understand that many of the answers to the questions below have been given already, I ask that you take the time to simply answer them again, as that will make things a lot clearer as to the speciality of the questions being proposed.
8. Dynamo and the staff - it is not the intention of the thread in any way to be harsh, mean or rude. I am simply attempting to get answers for people that make it clear for every side of this discussion, and am trying hard to do it in the best way possible. I you have an issue with something that is written here, please point it out and I will fix it, and I apologise profusely in the case that it does happen. But please don't let it get in the way of answering other questions.
9. Many people appear to feel as if they cannot currently share their own opinions on everything going on, because if they do they will get perma-banned, due to the several posts stating that rudeness will not be tolerated in answer to questions; whilst this is completely fair on your part and you are just trying to avoid rudeness, it makes those who are not being rude feel as if they are not being listened to.
Questions
1. Where are we going? What do we want to be known for if not a Warrior Cats RPG?
2. Why have boards such as the advanced board been merged with others?
3. When was the community last consulted on a forum development decision?
4. How do you think of yourself and your position in relation to the site, and if so, what would you say the staff are?
5. Has the number of new members of the site increased in the past month or so, and by how many?
6. Do you have a way of knowing how many people have left/become inactive in the past month or so?
7. How many people [staff or otherwise] have been permanently banned from the site for arguing against new developments?
8. What specific features are donations currently going towards?

[sup][b][color=white]I would like to stress again that this is not a thread designed to provoke either side, or encourage this discussion to get out of control. It is simply a chance for negotiation.
It's like when two people have an argument. Neither of them are necessarily wrong, and both should be the bigger person. They could simply stop and move on, but there is always a chance that some of the hype from that argument will flow unresolved into the next. With this site, there are many members who are leaving because of what has happened, and therefore it is very likely that many of those remaining, staff and members alike, will want to - and have the right to - share their own opinions.
However, if they were to sit down over a cup of tea and talk it out until they understood each other's views on the argument, resolution would be achieved.
All it will take is a little patience and humility from both sides, and as human beings I believe that we are capable of that.
Thank you for reading this, and I hope that the answers given can be discussed on here afterwards in a sensible way by both members and staff.
