• Tumbleweeds. Dozens of them, just 'tumbling' across the horizon in the wind. It was hot, dry, and Blue Raptor needed to get out the sun before she tanned. Gross. Her pale ivory skin was like snow in the middle of dirt. Bright, white, and always cold. But she liked it, and so did Silver.
The sun was setting now, the pinks and various oranges resting on the rising dunes like a precipitate. It would be the start time of night raids in Battery City. She despised Bat City, and although she'd never been there for herself, hearing about it was enough to fuel her passionate hatred for it. It was a torturous slum, filled with drained, brainwashed people. Blue felt empathy for them.
With her wide, golden-speckled green eyes, she gazed at Silver Fox, then at Red Viper. She adored Silver, and had grown close and very fond of his presence over the few months they'd been together. Red was a different story. The two females, Red and Blue, were and inseparable duo that was notorious for speeding around in their widely recognizable trans am's, shooting off the Draculoids with one ray gun blast at a time. But the enemy was catching up, and neither of them were sure what was do happen next. Not only did it worry Party Poison, the sufficient leader of killjoys, but it worried Silver as well. If they were caught, only Hell knows what would go down.

• The red-haired girl kept her eyes on the road, swerving and jerking to avoid hitting anything and damaging her precious car, and the people in it. She was focused, and it showed. Her jaw was tight, and little droplets of precipitation at her temple. She was nervous, this mission was worse than the others, there had never been so many Draculoids and Scarecrows on duty at night like this, it was terrible. Not knowing what to think, Red glanced over at Blue with a worried look, somewhat swallowing her pride as her eyes returned back to the dark, yet streetlight-lit street of the slums in front of the car.

She took a few second glance to see the spray-painted Trans AM turn the other way, and in those small seconds she could see Party watching her in his rear view, before she tore around a sharp corner. It was a bad move, because the way she had turned, was the long way to get to the turnpike gates, to get out of Battery City. Red didn't say anything, but kept going, as fast as she could. And when the gates came into sight, there were nothing but Dracs and Crows at the entrance..

• Blue drew in a sharp breath and held it with panic. They'd made a wrong turn, but despite her rising anxiousness, the girl simmered down. She trusted Vipe with everything, after all. Her thoughts were waning towards the thought of Silver. He was with Free Bird at the time, and although she was comfortably calm while he was with her friend, she could only focus on the pessimistic image of Silver being hurt. Then it dawned on her that Red was still driving. When they approached the gates, Blue was met with a disastrous reality.
They were already far too late.

Free Bird nearly swerved to go back for the two girls, but with all the Dracs and Crows there, it was practically suicide. "Sh-t, sh-t, sh-t." he muttered, feeling the sting of tears filling his eyes. But he blinked them away. He had to keep his cool, not only for himself, but because the others needed him there. He would only drain their power more by going to the rescue. And as much as he hated to, Bird reluctantly pushed harder on the gas.

• Angered with herself, she slammed on the breaks, screeching to a halt after drifting. She punched the steering wheel. This was her fault, she still thought about what she did. She took a wrong turn, and now her life and Blue's was in danger. And it was her fxcking fault. She bit her lip hard as tears of anger rolled down her cheeks, her eye brows furrowed before she reached for her gun; she wasn't going to go out without a fight, that was just her nature.

• BR didn't flinch a bit. She pushed through the sun-roof in the Trans Am, pulling out her pale blue and aluminum scratched ray gun, and opening fire. She shot a few Dracs down, even a Crow or two, before she felt an odd pinch to her neck. Whipping around, there was a lone Draculoid with a gigantic syringe in its' hand. The liquid inside looked like mercury, but much clearer than the actual substance. What was she just injected with? Blue didn't have much time to think about it, because in only a matter of seconds, her body felt so weak she nearly fell. And that was it. Black.

• Jerking herself from the car, she pointed her gun at the dracs and crows that had theirs pointed at her. She shot quite a few down, before she felt the same pinch at her neck. Red could feel her heart beating out of her chest, and as she turned she saw a drac with a syringe in it's hand, too. Her breathing somewhat slowed, before she felt like a total noodle, dropping her gun and falling to her knees. And as soon as she his the ground, she was out, cold.

• The pale and quite frigid young girl awoke to the sound of chains scurrying across the floor. And then a click, as if something was locked. Blue felt totally out of it; she felt like her whole body was completely broken, or like she was physically unable to exist. Barely fluttering her eyelids open with a tired haze, she immediately knew something was up. "What the f-ck kind of sick dream is this..?"

• Groggy, Red seethed as she began to wake up, groaning loudly. She gave a deep sigh, hearing chains across the floor. Her eyes shot open, and she jerked up in an upright position, her eyes wide and alert. She looked down at the chains around her wrists, moving them to make sure they were real. "What the fxck is this..?"

• Blue began looking around at what definitely were not humanoid wrists. When did her entire arm get this hairy? She swung her cranium over to face Red, and that's what made a squeal come erupting out of her throat like a magma fountain. "What in the hell? Is this even real?" she began to panic. They were positively not in Kansas anymore..

• Red stared around, before her eyes landed on Blue. Her eyes widened "Blue..?" she stared at the other "Why do..why do you look like that?"
Huffing, she turned her head to look around the room, it was a cell, solid white and pristine. Standing, she realized she stood on, four paws? Red stared at the paws below her, they were huge, and watched as she wiggled her toes. "What the hell is this, what are we..? Dogs?"

• "No, not dogs.. The way you stand up reminds me of a maned wolf. But I'm shorter..." she huffed, standing up and gazing at herself through the reflection in the shiny shackles. Her eyes were orange, flaming even. Those weren't here eyes. Those were the eyes of a beast, maybe a Iberian or Italian mix of wolves. How did this happen?

• She tried to walk, almost tripping over herself. She huffed, before she heard some doors open, sounded to be some heavy steel doors. Her cranium lowered, her ears forward as she heard footsteps approach. Red still stood stiff, watching a bald man with thick eye brows approach, along with two dracs. "Korse.." she bared her teeth at instinct, growling lowly.

• Raptor jumped away from the doors, snapping with fear-fueled rage. He was no doubt who had caused all of this to happen, and he was going to pay for it. As Korse approached, the two Dracs went for each of the wolves, one of them lunging at Blue. The now livid girl--or wolf, now--clamped her jaws on his wrist, slowly ripping out a tendon. This caused him to sink back, yet this was far from over.

• As the other Drac came at her, bared her sharp teeth, lunging forward and clamping her jaws on it's arm. Thrashing her head around, she felt a sharp, sudden pain at her head, making her drop to the ground with a yelp. Korse had struck her with the butt of his gun, making her get a little dizzy, and so she staggered as she glared at the man with a growl.

• Blue only backed down so suddenly because a code red alarm was blaring. Someone had breached the system. But how long had the two been in this division? Hours, days, weeks? She couldn't say herself, but it was enough time for someone to come barging in the double iron doors. She didn't recognize any of the groups members, for they had strange masks on that were pretty unique. They were completely alien to her, but Korse seemed to know who they were, and was gone in a flash. Raptor's flaming iced eyes stared at them with gratitude. Cutting the shackles off, one with a dinosaur mask spoke to her in a calm tone, "You guys got infected too, I see. I'm Rex Gravity. You two must be the Purple Duo." he looked towards the others, who were also wearing various reptilian masks. "Come on, we need to get out of here." Blue didn't hesitate. She sprang towards the door, but now realized that it was locked from the other side.

• Red growled lowly, not really trusting the newcomers, but they were trying to help them out. Suppose she gave a little trust towards them. She winced at the pain at the right side of her head, huffing and giving a slight whimper. Though, she tried not to show her pain, watching Blue. She stared at the door, hesitant. Red then glanced over at the group, narrowing her red eyes.

• Blue realized that none of these strangers knew how to escape. This is when canine sense came into play an advantage. She could get used to this. Following Korse's scent, she growled and raced after his trail. Rex Gravity looked at his comrades, and they decided to follow. Only one in a python mask waiting for Red to catch up.

• Red stepped out into the hall, letting out a huff. She caught a faint scent, the smell of perfume. A vicious growl erupted from her throat as she glared down the other end of the hall Irene.. she thought to herself. She moved to head down the hall, but stopped herself, she had to go with the others. Red snorted, before turning and darting down the corridor, following the others.

• Rex glowered for a second as he turned around. "Pyth, Iggy, protect these two at any cost. I'm going to disable the alarms." he ordered, and swerved down another pristine corridor. The other two nodded in agreement, siding by both wolves in a defensive manner as two Draculoids blocked the hall. Blue wasn't about to go back after getting this far. Before the newcomers could react, she lunged at ones' throat, tearing the jugular, and ripping the other Drac down with a ravenous fury. Killer instinct, perhaps.
