  • Gavin yawned and stretched on the grass, having lay there for over an hour. He sat up, moistening his mouth in that way that people do when they wake up and looked around, noticing the girl.

  • Name: Alvia Kaestra Roseshard
    Age: 16
Godly Parent: Selene-goddess of the moon and the 'mother' of vampires
    Appearance:
Notable Personality Trait: Alvia is very bold, blunt with her words, an excellent fighter, witty, and adventurous, but despite all of this, she is still kind and doesn't judge a book by its cover.

The post was edited 1 time, last by Elven Reign ().

  • Alvia walked into a clearing, pulling her sword out of the sheath positioned on her back and started practicing her attacks and stances. Her face had a determined look and her long hair whipped around uncontrollably, sometimes getting in her face, during which times she ignored it.

  • OOC: Oh, Elven Reign, is Selene a different goddess, because I thought goddess of the moon is Artemis.

Gavin felt a bit bad for scaring the girl, so he stood up, fixed his sweatshirt, and walked over to her. "Hey, I'm Gavin, didn't mean to alarm you." He said, smiling at her.

  • OOC:
Artemis. Her association with the moon seems relatively straight-forward: if Apollo is associated with the Sun, then his sister has to be associated with the moon.
Selene (= Mene or Luna). She is the proper Titan-goddess of the Moon, often even the personification of the moon itself
What I discovered. There are also many different moon gods and goddesses supposedly.

Alvia finished up her solitary training session and made her way out of the clearing and towards (wherever Gavin and Teagan are), sliding her sword back in its sheath on her back. When she reached her destination, she discovered two people already there. "Oh. Hello. I don't think I've met either of you." She said, her face having a seemingly harsh look to it. When she realized this, she softened her expression slightly. "I'm Alvia. Daughter of Selene."

  • Ah, Luna, mk I was just making sure, I get it now, thanks! Oh, and they're on the hill.

"Nice to meet you, I haven't seen you already the camp, are you newer here? Well, I suppose I can't really say that since I've only been here around a month or so." He said, though stopped, guessing she wasn't interested. As Alvia walked up to them, he turned, giving her a smile as well. "I'm Gavin, Son of Poseidon and former quest finisher of returning a few godly weapons I guess." He said.

  • She cocked her head sideways at his uncertainty on if that was a good thing or not. "You guess? Why not know?" She asked, her curiosity showing up from beneath her tough exterior.

  • IC: "Uh, sorry," Teagan mumbled. First impressions were not her thing.

OOC: By the way, idk if you know this but no one can hear Teagan's footsteps or other additional noises, so when she was rolling down the hill there was no sound.

  • "No harm done." She said with a slight chuckle. She heard a noise in the bushes and her hands immediately shot up to her sheathed sword. She froze there until further notice.

  • "Well, I've just been a little...forgetful, if you will lately, not sure why, been forgetting some quite obvious things lately." Gavin replied, crossing his arms. His head snapped toward the bush as it ruffled, wary, he reached for his chap-stick sword in his sweatshirt pocket.

  • Pretty soon, the rustling went away and she allowed her hands to fall back to her side. "My apologies. Excelling at fighting, I have tuned my senses in to sense many things as a threat." She said with a gentle nod of her head.
