  • This is based of of Taran Matharu's book Summoner the Novice.

You are a young summoner just arriving at Vocans Academy ready to learn the art of summoning. Either the first child of a noble or a commoner you have just been gifted with your first demon and are excited to begin your training. All Summoners have a telepathic connection to their demon alowing them to feel each others emotions. You are all training to fight in the war between humans and orcs. Every summoner has their own demon or demons but the number of demons you can have is determined by your demon energy absorbing capacity or DEAC so if you have a DEAC level of 17 you can have any number of demons who's levels are equal to 17. There are many trials awaiting you be careful.

You can be the first child of a noble family. You get all the perks of noble heritage and special treatment at Vocans. You will have a demon that is passed down from your father or mother. It is usually level 6 or higher. They also start with the highest DEAC is usually around 8 to start and and usually grows to be about 17 by the end of training.

You can be one of the rare commoners who have the ability to summon demons. You are looked down upon by the nobles who think commoners should never be allowed in to Vocans. You get no special treatment and get the lest comfortable rooms. They have the lowest DEAC and start with around 5 and grows to about 11 by the end of training.

You could also be an elf or dwarf. They have only recently started coming to Vocans and there are very few of them. Most people look down upon them because they are not human and they get the same accommodations as the commoners. Elves start with a DEAC of about 7 and grows to about 16 by the end of training. Dwarves start with a DEAC 6 and it grows to about 15 by the end of training. Elves available 2 Dwarves available 2
