  • "May you excuse me?" Rainpelt said not waiting for a reply as he pelted past Berry.

  • Rainpelt plunged to the forest, trying to remember the scent of the area he was looking for.

[fancypost bordercolor=black; background:url(http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-FZ5J…yGMSk_wI/s1600/oacg73.gif); width:460px; height:250px; margin-top: -10px;][fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=black; width:460px; height:230px; overflow:auto; margin-top:-7px; margin-left:-15px; color:white; opacity:1; text-align: justify;] The sun was shining brightly, giving the wide open field an almost mystical, and beautiful appearance. The lush grass glistened in the light and swayed in the warm breeze. It was like a realm of fantasy, with towering trees of all types, and Stormkit was right in the fray of all of this paradise. The energetic, young kit bounced around the area, his amber eyes bright with wonder. He had no idea where he was or why, but that was kind of the beauty of it. He could do anything, and as he could see, the land was vast. The only thing that ran through his mind was exploration. As would any kit his age would think. Maybe not his brother, Stoat… He was quite different, but Stormkit was grateful to have him. The tabby tom didn't know what he'd do if he only had his sister Fern. If only Stoat was here with him.

Suddenly, a sound seemed to echo throughout the luscious grass fields. I know that sound... Stormkit said to himself as he popped his head over the tall grass. His eyes searched around for movement until he found what he was looking for, noticing the grass shaking a few fox-lengths away. With a satisfied smirk, Stormkit got down into a hunters crouch. Of course he couldn't just stroll over to the little vermin. It would hear him if he did. Looking around, the tom found a small twig. Taking the twig in his mouth, the he threw it, hearing it land in front of him. The mouse then came scurrying over towards him, like a ball of moss, right into his paws. However, right before he caught the mouse, the ground beneath him fell, taking him with it.

With a jolt, Stormkit awoke, the bright sun shining his eyes and the cold breeze chilling his nose. Polar opposites from his dream. With a groan, Stormkit sat up, only to find his brother striding around. What was wrong with him? "Stoat… It's too early to be hopping around like a rabbit. Plus you ruined my good dream… I was about to catch a mouse, it was going to be amazing." The thick furred tom meowed drowsily with a yawn, trying to shake sleep from his eyes. Giving his disheveled tabby pelt a good shake, the tom padded over to his brother, shoving him with his shoulder. "I'll get you back for that." He stated simply, a mischievous, yet joking hint in his voice.

The strong and athletic ones of the family may have common sense, but apparently not a lot.

But it's not your fault that he's awake as he is right now! He's usually asleep when you get to your daily ritual of making a face at him. Out of the thousands of mornings you've done this, and never has he actually woken up before. This was most certainly a first. (No it isn't, you really just forgot about the minuscule fraction of times he actually did rise from his death-like slumber, but you're never going to admit that, now, would you?)

You had also forgot about the times when your brother had swore revenge upon you on occasions precedent this one, and every single time you had dismissed it as just the bark of a chained dog, but today, your memory seems to be working rather well, since it brought back all of those unpleasant hours you had spent high up on a tree, (once again), clinging unto the branch for dear life, courtesy of your brother's revenge against your malfeasances of disturbing the sleeping dragon.

Shortly, you wonder where all that common sense of the athletic and strong ones of the family went.

Even with the imminent threat that may or may not fall upon you, you lean to him leaving this one as a warning, and just a warning. Storm's a joker, so maybe he'll let this one slip? (You're really just trying to convince yourself that he's kidding around just so you won't have to prostrate yourself, begging like a coward for your life. You'll never ever do that. You may not be intelligent as everyone else in your family seems to be, but you've got stubbornness and courage to make up for your insufficiencies.)

And, and, besides! You've (lacking) evidence to support that he's probably just messing with you! One, he sounded like he was joking, two—…Umm, actually, that's just about it. That's all the evidence you have, however, it's all the evidence you'll need to coerce yourself in staying vigilant about your stance of not begging for mercy.

You are not a scaredy-cat. No, you are a brave warrior. There is nothing to fear when you're a strong one just like your mother. Just as Uncle Sebastian always says, (or was it Uncle Fox), "Better to be a mouse-brain than a fox-heart!" One of your uncles may or may not have actually said that, but it doesn't fail to be a motivation to you. Foxes won't scare you, badgers can't scare you, Storm can't scare you! Heights can scare you, though. (You're really just grasping at straws over the conflict of your pride and trauma.) Other than that, nothing can scare you! Hear that, Storm? You won't scare me!

Alas, if only fantasy could merge with the plane of reality, but such is a tragedy, that your response betrayed a shaky fear of what your brother might do as you instinctively take a step away from him. "H-hah!" Keep going, I'm doing fine. Storm didn't notice that pause. Don't worry, just don't worry. "It's just a m-mouse, right? Why not try doing it in the-the, the real world, instead, fur ball?" What stutter? There is not stutter. Don't worry, Stoat. Don't worry.

  • Sun slowly stood up, from where she had spent the night. She thought about her family, tears threatening to come. She blinked her eyes. She had to stay Strong. She will look for them, and she will find them, or die trying. Little did she know, she would never see them again.

  • umm, alright, guess i'll have soul paw talk to yours. maybe one of your apprentices? tell me where they are, basically and what they're doing.

  • Sun could swear she saw a building, but it was just a large rock. She was losing her mind. She had wandered aimlessly for days, never seeing another animal. Maybe I should just lay down and sleep, she thought to herself. She closed her eyes, thinking she was hearing Monsters and Twolegs, and drifted off to sleep.

  • As Rainpelt was searching for his land he came across the roaring thunderpath.
"Yuck, why do twolegs not just destroy those monsters?" "Wait...." Rainpelt stopped talking as he came across the she-cat which unbeknownst to Rainpelt, her name was Sun

  • Pebblepool sat in front of the nursery, watching the clan function. Apprentices talking and wandering and warriors doing their duties. "Mommy?" Pebblepool turned to see Seakit peering out of the nursery. She smiled and swept Seakit closer with her tail. Together they watched the clan.

  • I'm going to just play Fernkit))

Fernkit: I look outside I saw mommy and Seakit I was kind of tried so I curled up where sun was at the entrance and take a nap.
