Jackson began to eat with a smile that he could see his dad. He didn't know hy they hadn't made a schedule yet since it had been months since they split. But he was happy all the same.

Letha finished feeding Alec, then cleaned up their plates and took them to the sink. She sighed, then came back to them. "Go put your boots on mister, we're headed out!" She smiled, then picked up Alec.
-
Jackson walked over by the door and pullend his boots on but struggled with his jacket "momma?"he asked for her help
-
Letha placed Alec down on the floor beside Jackson, then helped him put his shoes and coat on. She put on her own shoes and jacket, grabbed her bag and car keys, then picked up Alec before she opened and walked out the door with Jackson leading the way to the car.
-
Jacksonsrayed calm as he buckled up and olayed with his wolf reddy the jorrel gave him for his birthdah.
-
Letha drove peacefully, singing along to the radio. She looked in the reariew mirror at Jackson and smiled at him lovingly. She drove until they were there, then parked and got out.
-
Jorrel hadnt expected them he got up and threw a shirt on and opened the door. He looked a lot skinnier but he faked a smile "hi..."
Jackson came out the car, he ran and hugged Jorrel "daddy" -
Letha smiled awkwardly at him. "Hi." She said back, looking down at her feet. She looked back up at him. "Can um, can we come in?" She asked, a little reluctant.
-
Jorrel nods as he picked Jackson up with his skinny arms and walked inside. He sat down and set Jackson down with a sigh.
-
Letha noticed how much weight he lost, and a ball dropped inside her. She came in, Alec on her hip. She sat down on his couch, setting Alec on her lap. "So, uh, how are you doing?" She asked, not wanting to point out his skinniness just yet.
-
"Im...Doing fine"He lied a he didn't want her to worry so he fored a smile "How are you and my boys doing?"He asked wanting to hange the subjet already.
-
Letha held onto Alec. "They're doing very good. Jackson's older than ever," she smiled at Jackson, then looked back to Jorrel. "And Alec can almost sit up by himself now." She played with the inside of her cheek - habit.
-
Jorrel smiled softly "Jacksons strong...must get it from you"cause god knows im weak right now he fiddled with his fingers. Not sure what to say, before he just stared at Alec. Watching him closely.
-
Letha smiled ever-so faintly, her eyes directing towards Jackson. She watched him, picking out the resemblances between father and son. "He really wanted to come see you today."
-
Jorrel smiled "Good...I sort of needed a distraction"He said as he gently held out his arms to take Alec since he wanted to hold him "How have you been?"
-
Letha shrugged. "I've been good. Living at my sister's isn't that bad. She enjoys the company." She gently picked up Alec and gave him to Jorrel, then folded her hands together in her lap.
-
Jorrel frowned a little bit "Oh..really what happened to you and Dylan? Last time I heard you were staying at his place"He said quietly as he bounced Alec on his neck.
-
Letha bit her lip. "We....he couldn't handle the kids anymore." She scratched the back of her neck. "It's whatever. Parenting is a full time job."
-
Jorrel sighed "Oh..Well I guess your right"He didn't feel good that they hadn't worked out. He just wanted her to be happy.
-
Letha nodded and looked down again. She felt awkward asking, but she was going to anyways. "How's you and um....what's her name..." She blushed a bit, embarassed. She never actually knew the girl's name.
