Cyrus turned, hearing the sound. He spotted the tiger with some ease, and tried to smile, though it looked a bit forced.

Cyrus nervously took a step back- he was pretty sure that this newcomer hadn't gotten the message. It had happened before- nyari had been caught and killed as prey by trespassers in the past. He quickly shifted into his Pansieler form, which was a fair bit larger- large enough, he hoped, not to be seen as edible.
"I'm going to need a reason for you being here, or you'll have to leave." Cyrus said firmly, standing up straight. He normally didn't state this outright- in fact, he didn't often come across troublesome visitors. But the advance had spooked him a bit, especially in his current state.

"It's good though, the rest of the territory has some prey, but there's less now, since it's getting closer to winter. This place will be really useful then."
