Hera. Deity of marriage, women, childbirth. Protector of women, especially those in marriage. Queen of the Olympians. Hera is the spouse of zeus, and is in quite a turbulent relationship with him. They're plagued with jealousy and anger and pettiness, and it's not all their own fault--Zeus is certainly to blame for much of their troubles. As to who Hera loves...well, Hera doesn't--They don't let themself love anyone that isn't their husband. And they're not sure they love their husband at all, either. It's quite obvious the man is fine with having his way with whomever, and faithfulness plagues Hera--they won't cheat on them.

Hera is strong willed, passionate. They are often cold, cruel, and prideful. They feel under-appreciated and are liable to lash out, often seeming jealous or petty.

I think Hera in a way would resent Artemis--her freedom, mainly, but it's veiled under disdain because Hera values family life, marriage, the traditional ideals so highly, but it's turned out so badly for them--whereas Artemis broke tradition and is living the life. That might be able to develop?

vampirecat too true, zeus will probably act as either her parent (aka proud and partially strict) or her friend (aka YES YOU MAY CONQUER THE WORLD) and sometimes zeus would probably tell artemis not to treat him like a dad too much because it makes him feel old lmao[/fancypost]
