    "... I don't remember why do you ask Maxie" she said boredly, "I refuse to ask him" she said "i know you can make diamonds you used them against me" she added. She barely looked at Jayce "and joining Fairy Tail huh, it might be interesting but like Fairy Tail will let me become a S class or higher" she said.

    ~.:Tiger flame welcome back it might not be helpful but Rin and Maxie, Jayce, and some others fought, Fairy Tail one took a frozen Rin to Maxie's dungeon questioning her and at the guild I believe Natsu and somebody else had a battle and that's about it I think...:.~

    Colins ear twitched. Nicoles tail swished.
    Nicole was irritated.
    "Lost? Again?! " She growled at her brother. He rolled his eyes.
    " I'm sorry I'm sick and my nose doesn't work properly. Maybe you should try?! " he sighed.
    " Fine, "









    "As an Ice Devil Slayer, I'm going to crush E.N.D."~ Gray Fullbuster



    "Hmm...No particular reason." Maxie responded absentmindedly. He glanced back over to Jayce before sighing.
    "You see I can removed the block of diamonds...but Jayce also covered the insides in diamonds." Maxie said with a heavy sigh before looking back towards Rin with a strange twinkle in his eyes.
    "If Makarov and the S-Classes hold a meeting we can bestow some S-Class rights upon wizards. You're technically not S-Class until you complete some certain conditions through." Maxie pointed towards himself before continuing.
    "I am the inaugural S-Class wizard brought about by the 'Apprentice' System. Fairly simple, you become an 'Apprentice' to one of the current S-Class wizards, and if you fulfill the tests and training they put you through; bam you're instant S-Class....It's actually a lot harder than the yearly exam, which is the only other way to become S-Class." Maxie explained as Shiro sighed.
    "It's true. This bastard was mine and Mira's apprentice." She said with venom towards Maxie "Through it might work against you running a dark guild." She added coldly. This Rin girl seemed a little too...cooperative. She didn't quite trust her.
    Maxie also seemed to be acting strange. He wasn't usually this....mellow or absentminded.

    Nicole had the urge to punch her annoying brother into the ground, but he was in pretty bad condition. He was a bit sick, and his sense of smell didn't work as well, leaving that useless. His main source of power, his legs, one of them was broken. He could barely walk. She hoped he would heal soon. He had found ways to not use his legs, bit it was really hard on him.


    "Finally, made it out of the forest.. " Colin muttered, looking out.
    Nicole nodded.


    " yep. "


    Colin sat down, and layed back. He closed his eyes.


    Nicole was still standing, she wasn't as tried as he was, and she needed to think...

    "I can sense that I wouldn't really be fitting in there a dark gild master joining a official guild strange isn't, besides I like being one of the strongest dark guilds and I don't like being under someone doing what they want that's why I killed my mother" she said. She glanced at Jayce and sighed "and Fairy Tail this is the most information I could ever get in one day Mine not quite useful but then the smallest of information is helpful...can't Yui be in my place she is quite strong and she listens more" she said.

    Maxie chuckled slightly at Rin's comments.
    "Sorry didn't mean to laugh but it's just the way you think is pretty cute." Maxie chucked in a slightly mocking tone.
    "It doesn't matter what the rest of the guild thinks. I do as I please and no-one stops me." Maxie shrugged before turning and paced a few steps to the left.
    "Why not Yui you ask? As I said I have no interest in your sister. Gildarts, Mira, Erza or someone else can take her as an apprentice if they wish. I'm not sure how Jayce will take this, nor do I particularly care." Maxie continued as he turned on his heel and paced back to his original spot.
    "But I have no interest in taking him as my apprentice, that's one of the reasons Shiro is here." Maxie nodded towards Shiro before winking at Rin.
    Shiro sighed heavily at Maxie's statement. So that's what he meant by 'unique skillset' huh?
    "You on the other hand....something intrigues me, even though you're a dark wizard. It bothers me. I want to know what it is. I thought questioning you would help, but it hasn't. I am willing to overlook your past and take you on as an apprentice. Being S-Class of Fairy Tail would give you access to council information by the way." Maxie seemed to add the last part on more as a bribe than anything. He now looked up straight into her dark, almost blood red eyes.
    "So simple choice. Stay down here and rot, or join Fairy Tail, become my apprentice and eventually S-Class. Stay by my side and I can guarantee your safety."
    Shiro glanced at him with her cold, analytical eyes. She was trying to work out his angle. Really Maxie didn't benefit anything from convincing her to join, well nothing but the scorn of the Magic Council and most of the guild.

    Rin thought for a moment not seeing anyway past this she narrowed her eyes at him but sighed and looked at her gun. "I am not cute I believe I have told you before" she added she, sighed one last time hearing the council part made her easily agree "fine I guess I will try it, the request were getting boring anyway for assassination" she mumbled.

    Jayce wasn't really paying much attention so it took him a while to register what he was hearing "Wait! I have to become an apprentice?! That wasnt part of the deal!" He stepped towards Maxie "I dont take orders and Im only here to fight the strongest of the strong! Im not interested in listening to what some half-cocked wannabe has to say!" He folded his arms over his chest and turned his back on the group, walking back to Rei in a huff.


    "Calm yourself brother" Rei soothed gently running her hand over his hair "You'll complete your tasks soon enough and have the recognition you deserve. Until then lets play nice ok?"


    "Ok..." grumbled Jayce, he turned to Rin and Maxie, "I cant remove the diamond until he gives me my magic back" He stuck his thumb in Maxies direction. Rei came up behind him and stood up on her tiptoes to put her arms around him and rest her chin on his shoulder. Her large feline ear itched against his temple but he didnt really mind, he reached up and around with his right hand to scratch behind her left ear and she murmured happily. "I still dont see why I have to do this stupid apprentice thing" He muttered under his breath "Im the strongest wizard here, and probably the best in all of Fairy Tail"

    "You see, that's the spirit." Maxie ruffled her hair before clicking his fingers. The stone which filled the doorway now crumbled away as he turned back to face Jayce.
    "No-one orders anyone around here. It's mere formalities. Shiro's main job will be to teach you how to do requests and the like. Basically teach you the responsibilities of an S-Class wizard. Trust me if she's good enough to teach me, she's more than good enough to teach you. Just wait till you see her magic in action." Maxie smirked towards Jayce before shoving his hands in his pockets.
    "Strongest huh?" He seemed distant as he said this "Then prove it by first getting a passing grade from the Queen here." He looked up towards the ceiling in a sort of dreamlike gaze while also pointing to Shiro.


    "Ignore Maxie....he's complicated. But you know, that's exactly what Maxie said when he was first initiated into the program." Shiro said without an ounce of emotion. She curtsied to Jayce and Rei again before her eye started to glow.
    "However, I must judge you myself." Her left iris seemed to glow slightly as she now drew the large blade on her back and pointed it towards Jayce.
    Suddenly the glowing in her eye intensified as now the room was split into a grid of 8x8 cubes.
    "Prove to me the strength Maxie told me about." Shiro demanded as three marionettes appeared from out of the sword and dropped in front of her.
    Maxie sighed heavily. This was why he didn't want to disable the lacrimas. But when he removed the stone he had also disabled the lacrimas.

    Rin watched fixing her hair that was ruffled and "Maxie I still will never forgive you for touching my gun" she said towards him. She moved in front of Shiro and went to Jayce "your magic is back, that means you can return it back to normal" she said to him ready to use her death magic if she got too angry.

    Nicole sat next to Colin, finally. She curled up and fell asleep almost immediately. Colin got up after a few minutes. He couldn't sleep. The pain in his leg was too much. He needed to strengthen it up... Somehow..

    Jayce stepped into the grid on the opposite side to Shiro "Very well i'll return your gun to normal but first" He looked over his shoulder at Rei "You know what to do sis"


    Rei nodded walking over to Rin and placing a hand on her shoulder, a magic circle sprung up around her and the amulet around Reis neck began to glow. The magic quickly died down but the amulet continued to emanate a soft glow. "There we go, she shouldnt give us any trouble now" Rei said, giving Jayce a thumbs up before moving away back to the side of the room.


    "Excellent" Jayce responded, he splayed his hand and the diamond around and inside Rins gun turned liquid, dripping out of the gun and into the floor, then sinking into the floor, until there was no evidence of it ever existing. "Right. Now stand aside Rin, Shiro and i have business to attend to." He eyed off the delicate looking girl and her marionettes and began to formulate a strategy. A strategy he liked to call, punch everything until it stops moving.

    Rin watched her gun return to normal and sighed simply walking away from them back to Maxie "can we get this over with" she asked putting it back in her hidden spot. She realized that she would need a new hidden spot for her holder to her gun and wondered where she would put it she shook her head and waited for a answer.

    Shiro silently waited for Jayce before the glowing in her eye intensified. She could view the entire grid now in her mind. Everyone on the grid (in combat) now was represented by a chess piece. Shiro was the 'white' queen, her marionettes were 'white' pawns and Jayce currently the 'black'....king?
    She narrowed her eyes in confusion for a brief moment before issuing her first set of commands. One of her marionettes suddenly disappeared and appeared behind Jayce, swinging it's claw hands in an upwards slash.
    The other two marionettes now swiftly moved in on Jayce. Shiro created another two marionettes which now silently stayed by her side.


    Maxie watched the fight begin in bemusement and glanced over to Rei.
    "Absolute Shield. Activate." He muttered as a crystal-like semi-liquid now seemingly poured out from him and rushed over to Rei. It stopped just short of her and stayed on the ground like a puddle.

    Jayce simply grinned before whirling at lightning speed and throwing a punch that would surely shatter the marionette, his free hand clenched into a fist and the ground around Shiro rippled for a moment before coming alive in hundreds of rocky chains that writhed like snakes, swatting and flailing at Shiro and the remaining four puppets, caging them in place while trying to inflict as much damage as possible, each strike was held back just enough so they wouldnt cause any serious injury but they would definitely hurt and would cleave clean through one of the marionettes.


    Rei gasped softly at the ferocity and speed of Jayces attack, she was expecting him to try and end the fight in one move but she wasnt expecting something this savage. 'Shiro will be lucky to escape unharmed' she thought to herself, covering her mouth with her hand

    The first marionette was easily turned into splinters by Jayce's punch.
    Meanwhile Shiro had noticed the rocky chains erupt out of the ground. Grabbing the two marionettes Shiro disappeared just as the attack came crashing down around where she was standing. Her first two marionettes were crushed almost instantly as she reappeared right behind Jayce.
    The two marionettes suddenly came to life and lunged towards him, both armed with claw hands, as Shiro disappeared again and reappeared about three squares to Jayce's right.
    She grimaced slighty as she now noticed that one of the chains had managed to whack her right on the right thigh.
    She now prepared more marionettes as she waited to see what his next move would be.

    "Hey, Gun stealer I'm gonna go and find my sister now good luck with those three" Rin said and began to walk off not really waiting for a answer. She needed to find her sister fast to tell her about the council, Meanwhile Yui was searching for her sister cursing at herself she has been avoiding every fairy tail member but needed to find her sister just she didn't know where,"damn it where the hell would she be" she asked herself.
