"Welcome home," Justin smirked at me, I somehow found it quite reassuring. I turned around, seeing the other two girls's heads, we were separated from the people and there's no way I'm going to be able to get to them. I turned to Justin.
"Your people," I narrowed my eyes at him. "Better not harm my acquaintances."

"Don't forget," He pulled me closer to him and whispered in my ear. "These are your people, too."

I pulled myself out from his grasp and glared at him. "So why am I here?"

"I'll show you," He took hold of my wrist and walked me through the crowd.

Ooc: So I was thinking...the Fallen Angels are actually the enemies and Justin reveals it to Ashton and the enemy pack becomes Adele's and Ashton's allies. The only reason the Fallen Angels wanted Ashton and Adele to save the world is because they knew that they were the ones who were going to stop their plans to destroying the world. They knew because they have this fortune teller witch thing. Anyways, the Fallen Angels were actually sending the two warriors into a trap.
And another thing, if you're on board with this plot, when Ashton tells Adele what she discovered about their pack Adele doesn't believe and she leaves Ashton alone to save the world by herself, but she doesn't know that it was a trap.
This is just an idea, an idea that really love, but it doesn't have to happen exactly like that though.

Ooc: So you're agreeing to the plot, I assume?

"They are not the monsters, Adele," I murmured and sat up with my leg stretched out and the other under me. "It was all a lie. Don't you get it? The Fallen Angels are our true enemies."

I stood up and leaned against the brick wall behind me with my arms folded. "It was all a lie," I shook my head and looked at my sneakers. "So that means...," I looked up at Adele. "I'm finally home."

"It's a shame," I lifted my chin. "They thought that you can be one of their most finest fighters...so did I."

I stood up and draped my bag over my shoulder as I swaggered out of the private place. So what if she leaves me here, it'll be just like old times. Just me, my spellbooks, and my weapons, all back home where it's safe. But Justin's right, I'm not safe. I'm still being hunted to this very moment.

"Willow!" Justin took a deep breath and grabbed my elbow, balancing himself. "I've been looking everywhere for you..."

"Yeah, yeah," I grumbled. "What do you want?"

He let go of my forearm and stared directly into my eyes. The color of his reminded me poison, a pale green with a violet ring around the iris. His cheeks were were flushed and he looked more like a troubled child.

"Last night," He glanced around him as if to check if anyone was in earshot. "Iris...she...decided that she was too old for her job as top Alpha."

"So? That's not my problem."

"Oh, it is. She...Willow - I mean Ashton... she wants you to lead the Nightmare Chaos...You're the new Alpha."

"And if I refuse?"

"You know the law, Willow," He twirled a piece of my hair around his finger. Now he seems like the guy who I met before I ran away. "You know that's not an option..."

"The Pit," I raised my chin. "Is where my ceremony will take place. Justin? What time do I have to I have arrive?"

"In," He checked his watch. "Five minutes."

I gave him a small nod then gazed at Adele. "If I refuse, I will be putting this pack in danger. Iris only gets to choose the new Alpha once, if I refuse I get thrown into an underground prison with a monster and a blade. If I kill it, I get to live but I'll get sent to Fallen Angel territory. And then the pack would be left Alphaless."

"We should get goin now, Willow."

"Ashton," I snarled. "It's Ashton."

"Right."

I stood on the ledge, glaring down at the crowds of Nightmare Chaos. Justin stood on my left and Iris stood on my right. I held my dagger in one hand and a sword in the other. Iris cleared her throat and began to speak.
"Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to the Nightmare Chao Alpha Ceremony! As you all know, I will be stepping down from my rank and will be joining the elders den. I, former Alpha, will now like to introduce the new Alpha! Queen Ashton Lethal!"

The crowd cheered and Iris nodded at me. That was my signal to speak. "I, Queen Ashton Lethal, pledge to lead the Nightmare Chaos to glory! We, as one, will defeat the Fallen Angels! We are going to save the world from destruction! We will put a stop to this madness! I promise to do my best as Alpha. Change starts now!l

I lunged myself off the ledge and I heard gasps come from the crowd. I snapped my wings open and hovered in the middle of the Pit. "My first decision as Alpha will start with choosing the Beta! Adele, prisoner of Nightmare Chaos, shall take place as Beta! And as for Tessa, former Beta, she shall take the rank as mentor and will tea in apprentices in the arena!"

Justin, back at the ledge, sended thoughts to Ashton. Okay, Alpha, we get it. There's going to be a few changes around here. You can go now.

I nodded at him and soared down below, landing gracefully at the edge of the Pit. I stared at Adele for a moment before sticking out my hand. She took it and I gave her a firm handshake. "Welcome to my home."

I wiped the tears away with the hem of my shirt and put on a brave face. It wasn't a difficult process to push the tears back. "Well," I patted Justin's shoulder and gave him my sword. "Look's like you're Beta."

I shouldered past him and he grabbed my wrist. "Are you sure, Queen Ashton?"

"Dont call me that, it's Ashton. Just Ashton," I snarled. "And I'm positive. You better not make a fool out of yourself."

I shook my hand free from his grasp and shoved my way through the guards who wore worried faces, they only attack on my command which is fortunate for Adele. I swaggered out of the Pit and flew into the air and within a few wingbeats, I was already perched in a pine tree.

"Are you okay?" Justin sat next to me.

"How did you...?"

"You aren't the only one with wings, you know. Iris wanted them cut off, she said that the wings aren't pure. They don't please her, basically. Now may you answer my question?"

"I'm fine."

No, I'm not fine. I might have lost the only person who could've been my friend and everyone knows that I don't like people that much...making friends was never on my to-do list. But losing her isn't the only thing that makes a weak link in my armor of steel. There's plenty of things that make me a weak target. I'm not okay.

Justin extended his wing and rested it on my shoulder. "It's okay," He whispered in my ear. I forgot that he's a mind reader. "Everything will be okay."

"No, it isn't, nothing is ever going to be okay," I shook my head and stared at the ground below us. "My father...and my brother...they aren't here are they?"

He didn't respond.

"They started a rebellion, didn't they?"

He nodded.

"Did they know...who the bad guys are?"

"Yes," He let out a shaky breath. "They knew everything even before we found them."

I jumped off the branch and snapped open my wings. I soared through the air, faster than any mutant freak like me. Faster than any hybrid Philomena has made. Then I pressed my wings against my back and let myself fall. My eyes burned with tears and my bag of spellbooks were no longer tied to my hip. This is how Justin or Adele would find me, my body sprawled out on the ground in a pool of my own blood...

I gulped, feeling the gravity push me down. I waited for the pain, I waited for the demons to take me away. I closed my eyes and I landed in someone's arms. I opened my eyes and stared at a person with a blurry face. My vision cleared and in was staring up at my little brother Jimmy, he looked older.

Maybe I skipped the pain, maybe I didn't feel it. Was this the demon's way of telling me that I don't have to fight anymore? That I'm safe?

I wrapped my arms around Jimmy's neck, not caring if he was sent to me by the demons. "Jimmy...," I whispered. "Jimmy..."

"You haven't finished your journey yet, big sister. Make Father proud. This isn't the end, you still have a world to save. But before you do that, you have to save yourself."

"But, I don't want to save the world!" I whispered with a crack in my voice. "Jimmy, I can't do it."

"But you can," He whispered back. "You can do anything. You are Ashton Lethal, the greatest hybrid warrior alive."

"A hybrid like me can't be a warrior."

"Ashton Lethal! Listen to me! You are the Alpha of Nightmare Chaos! You escaped Philomena! You are," Adele murmured. "A warrior worth fighting for."

"Adele?"

"No, Clawdeen," I stood up and looked at the sky. "I'm fine."

I flapped my wings, they hurt but medicine wouldn't help them. I ignored Adele's questions and watched Justin's silhouette against the blazing sun. I must've been hallucinating, Jimmy wasn't here it was just my imagination. Hopefully.

A loud buzz filled my ears and I shrieked as my knees buckled and I crumpled to the ground. I held my head and closed my eyes tightly, trying to block off the ringing. I screamed again as the sound got louder and my brain began began to feel like a brick.

When it stopped I collapsed all as one with my face facing the sun. I closed my eyes and took in deep breaths. Another negative thing about being a hybrid? You never know what to expect and if you escaped, let's just say you're still their property and the scientists are hunting you down.
