Carli sighed and rested her head against his chest "Just be careful..."She said wishing he didn't have to go.

"I know darling, but its my job. I don't have a choice. I wouldn't go if they had another man for the job, but they don't. I can't let my brother down. I promise I'll be back before you have the baby, and hopefully before the next scan. I love you, but think of this, the sooner I leave, the faster I get back." He kissed her forehead, sweeping her up and kissing her neck gently before walking back to the house.

Carli smiled a little when Arrow kissed her neck. She simply nodded trying to think of a way to welcome him home once he made it back. She wished she knew when he would get back "i oove you"

He picks up a file that was now on the counter, sighing. Glancing through it he grimaces, "no.." He reads further into it. "No." He walks into his study and starts studying it in detail, anger evident.

Carli frowned as she heard him. She took the pkate of food and walked over to him in his study "I know this is gonna be hard for us but ee can get through it...mind telling me why your muttering No?"she asked putting ghe plate on the desk.

He drops pictures of several young girls and growls out "they're rape victims." His eyes are angry as he contemplates what he should do to the man. He throws down the mans picture. "Do you know him?"

Carli frowned before her eyes went wide with shock "James...."she stuttered before tears started rolling down her cheeks.

"Who is he Carli?" He looks at her, picking her chin up.

Carli stared at Arrow before anwsering "He..he was the father of Leo..the son i lost..."she revealed "he was my ex..the one who almost killed me....before i ran away"

"Then the son of a b**** will pay a hefty price." His eyes are filled with anger and he turns away, knowing they're almost glowing from the power his anger causes to surge through him. "You are not the only one to be impregnated by him. The screams you used to hear, was him raping another girl."

Taking a feep breath, he picks up the pictures, putting them away in the file and going to the room to pack. "I want the bastard dead." He starts packing.

Carli soon stood up and got herself some water before downing it all in one "Arrow...make him feel my pain.."she mjttered knowing he could hear.

Finishing his packing he wraps his arms around her. "I love you." He says, Kissing her. Kneeling down, he lifts the shirt. Kissing her stomach gently several times and stands up again, kissing gently. "I'll be back soon dear." He walks out of the room, and heads towards his vehicle.

Carli wiped her eyes as she kissed back gently. She felt her heart beat rise when he kissed her stomach "be safe"she called just before he left (timeskip to when he gets back)

After a month of tracking the guy he finally gets him, bringing him back for his brother. Not having sent word ahead he stumbles in the door, having not gotten any sleep in a week. Sneaking up on Carli he wraps his arms around her and kisses her cheek before going to their bathroom to clean up then sleep.

Carli had grown a little on the stomach but no where else when she felt him kiss her cheek she sighed happy was back but felt like something was bothering him. She went up to bed and changed into a night giwn before laying down staring up at the cieling.

Climbing in beside her, only in boxers and wraps his arms around her. He yawns and rubs her stomach gently with his thumb. "How is my little prince and my darling queen?" HE asks, his voice rough and tired.

Carli smiled a little as she felt his thumb "Prince? You already think it shall be a boy?"she asked still looking upwards "i have missed you so much"she murmered tiredly "i hope you are the same.."
