    I'm A Creature of The Night, A Monster, and Yet...



    Theme


    Your character was always the rather typical kind of student, as far as other students were concerned. You came to school, you did your work, you'd go home. Every day, every week, the same schedule on repeat. But that all changed very suddenly on one random day, a day you so happened to try and stay out with some friends rather late, and on your way back you started noticing something. Someone was following you...


    Your character can be whoever you want them to be, just giving a bases for the start of the RP, as well as context to the situation, as you very suddenly get approached by a creep that's looking to do less than noble things, Adrian (My character) Will come in to save you from it. From there, the RP can take as many twists and turns as you like, and yes clearly by the first stated sentence, Adrian is indeed a vampire. XD Just give a name, picture, theme (if you want to) of your character, and then we can start.

    Ashlee Lynette Hestia Juliet Winters admits she's a goody two shoes. She is! Throughout the three children her mother has birthed, she is the strict and motherly one of the three, even though she is the youngest. She is always the one passing up assignments a week early, doing work for extra credit. She doesn't mind it at all though! Her eldest brother, Ashton Lysander Hades Julius Winters, was the jock of he school, Mr Player. Her elder brother, Ashire Lycan Hermes Julian Winters was the prankster. Her? She was the nerd. The one who has the entire Periodic Table and their uses by heart. However, this time, she was admittedly was extremely way out of her comfort zone. She winced as she grumbled and shook her head. She clutched her bookbag tightly to her chest as she walked in the silent sidewalks. She didn't want to ask her brothers to come and pick her up, she was seventeen and is close to a young adult! She can handle this! Her pride can handle this! With a confidence boost, she nodded her head as she began to walk a little bit faster home.

    Very suddenly, as if the person had expected Ashlee around the corner, on that very specific moment, a man rounded out of an alleyway, bumping slightly into Ashlee, not at all a gentle shove. He looked down at her, grinning and showing off his poorly cared for teeth. He wasn't dressed all that well either, as a matter of fact. His clothes were old and torn in random places. "Pardon me, lass." He spoke an apology, though it wasn't at all welcome sounding. "What's a young thing like you doing out in the streets so late, you do know it's dangerous right? You could get hurt..." And still this man continued to grow creepier with each word he spoke. His breath wasn't at all pleasant smelling.


    That guy is trouble... Adrian was watching the two, his head slightly peeking from around a corner and studying both the girl and her soon-to-be attacker. He was out, on his nightly walk route he had every night. Looking for something to nibble on, or something to keep his mind occupied. At first glance, you'd almost assume that Adrian was any other random neighborhood thug. He dressed that way, his hair made him look that way. Hell, his attitude gave that impression. But even if that was at least some what true, he couldn't just stand back and watch some random girl get assaulted, what a horrible thing! He watched closely, not wanting to have to get involved if he didn't have to, waiting to see what happened.

    Ashlee blinked as she felt a hard shove from the man and she had almost dropped her bookbag. She wrinkled her nose at how badly shaven his clothes and how bad his overall appearance was. The OCD in her started to act up as she huffed. "Didn't your mother ever taught you manners?" She snarled but a hint of fear flashed through her eyes as she spotted him growing closer to her. She swallowed the lump in her throat as she only clutched the bookbag closer to her chest. "S-Stay back!" She exclaimed as she watched him cautiously. She winced when she took in a full breath of his mouth as the 5'2 female kept up her tough facade. "Could you ever invest in a mint?" She said as her back hit the wall and colour ran down her face.

    The man only chuckled with every comeback Ashlee could give him, and he continued to approach her as she backed against a wall. "Hey now, ain't no reason to be rude. I just wanted a little...something from you, is all." His eyes were literally full with horrible intent, it wasn't all that hard to figure what he was insinuating. He pressed on of his arms over Ashlee against the wall, sneering down out at her. Though, before he could so much as even touch her, he suddenly gasped as he was shoved roughly back by an elbow, and Adrian stood in between him and Ashlee, giving him a cold stare down with something that could resemble instinctive protection. "Buzz the hell off freak, don't be bothering anyone." The nasty name simply sneered at Adrian, though clearly realized he wasn't going to get anywhere now, and backed off, snorting as he began walking away.


    Adrian suddenly let his arm fall, and let out a content sigh at realizing he was at least able to avoid a fight between himself and that guy. He slowly turned his head to look Ashlee. He was already much closer than the other guy had managed to get, though Adrian seemed to be very lightly aware of that. His looks could scare any normal person, but his eyes and face showed an obvious look of concern, or at least, lightly so. "You okay? That guy didn't hurt you did he?" Adrian backed himself off of her, digging his hands into his pockets. He was rather tale, 6'4 exactly, making it easy for him to look menacing.

    Ashlee couldn't control the small squeak that escaped her when he was only a footstep away from her lips. She squeezed her eyes shut before she heard a voice that called out to her. Tilting her head, she looked up and noticed that it was that scary guy that everybody in the neighbourhood he was talking about. However, she wondered why would a scary guy help her? He could have easily turned a blind eye and walked off. No to mention the close distance she has with him now. So close that if he leant down a little more; their lips would meet and... Ashlee slapped herself of her thoughts as she heard his question. "H-Hm? Oh... I'm fine." She said softly as the grip on her bag lightened. She then looked up at him and smiled softly, "Thank you...?" She trailed off, not knowing her saviour's name.

    Adrian slightly tilted his head, looking almost puzzled at the girl. He always skipped out on school, so he wasn't all that sure if he somehow knew her or not, but he affirmed that at the very least he'd seen her before. His eyes slightly narrowed when she thanked him, letting off a soft snort as if he honestly didn't believe her. Rude, yeah he knew that. At least she's okay... He suddenly blinked though when he realized she was asking for his name, and he rolled his neck a little to avoid looking at her, how embarrassing. He should have realized that. "Names Adrian, pleasure." He said it a little slyly, taking a bit of a step back, clearly not comfortable talking with someone so...different from himself. In a lot of ways to. "What's someone like you doing out this late? Don't you know this town can be dangerous?" He was suddenly acting all annoyed and agitated, really just trying to get the subject to change. "Do you...need me to walk with you? At least till you get home, wouldn't do anyone any good if I helped you just so you could get jumped again the moment I left." He didn't even realize what he had just suggested until he had said it. What the hell Adrian!? Way to get yourself even more involved, you shouldn't even be talking with her!

    Ashlee raised an eyebrow at his snort towards her word of gratitude before she blinked. "It's good to meet you Adrian." She had a polite smile on her lips before she blinked and looked out at the night sky. She then hesitated when he started to get a little bit more antsy than usual. She raised an eyebrow before she shook her head. "Just being with friends... I need to get home faster or my uncle will get worried... As for the walk..." She trailed off, thinking about. Her pride really didn't want any help but having a menacing tall male at her side could be valuable. She was in the shady part of town. "Alright then, thanks Adrian." She said as she smiled brightly at him before she turned and led the way to her home.

    Adrian let out an exaggerated sigh at her acceptance to his accidental offer. He really shouldnt, but he couldn't exactly yell her to screw off all of a sudden. Well, he could. But that wouldn't be like Adrian. He dug his hands back into his pockets and started following after Ashlee. At first he walked a few feet behind her, then he sarted walking next to her. How unaware he was, their shoulders practically touched as they walked. He suddenly started talking again, his curiosity getting the better of him. "So, what's your name?" He grumbled, trying to seem rude. "I mean, I told you mine and I can't even get yours back?"

    Ashlee looked at Adrian and she squinted her eyes at him. The rudeness in his voice was forced, she could practically hear it. So, with a bright smile and slightly flushed cheeks due to the fact that her shoulder was touching Adrian's arm due to how tall he fracking is, she just said. "Oh, My name's Winters, Ashlee Lynette Hestia Juliet Winters." She said as she smiled brightly. "I think I've seen you around school... Well... You're rarely at school anyway from what I've heard."

    Adrian slightly flashed a smile, at hearing the rather long name. It was neat though, a lot better than his own. "I'll just call you Ashlee, if you don't mind." He said it with another huff, casting his eyes off to the side in order to avoid further conversation. Though it didn't matter, as she mentioned him at school. He grunted and shrugged his shoulders, giving her a slight glance. "Yeah, probably. I don't go a lot, I mean, schools pretty pointless..." Oops, wrong thing to say to her he imagined, and he gritted his teeth at his own denseness. "I mean, if you're good for it that's great, but it isn't the place for me." Adrian felt relatively tired, and he let a yawn escape him. His sharp little fangs as clear as day for Ashlee to see if she was paying him much attention. His mouth closed, and he realized they were starting to enter into the better side of town, or what thought of as the 'rich kids' neighborhood.


    "You live here? Huh, figures...," He grumbled it out under his breath, not really meaning for Ashlee to hear him.

    Ashlee smiled brightly at him, "Yeah Ashlee's just fine. I don't expect you to remember my name anyway." She said as she yawned softy and stretched. She then blinked as her eyes flashed hurt but her determination to make Adrian her friend was shown as she waved the hurt away. "Yeah well... Everybody is different. I think I'm great at school... But I could always do better." She mumbled softly as she sighed before shaking her perfectionist away. She then looked at Adrian just as he was yawning but paused when she saw his fangs. Her eyes were wide and she was just staring at him before shaking her head, thinking that it was probably due to how tired she is. She then chuckled, "Yeah, I live here with my uncle and my brothers. My uncle is the CEO of Winters Incorporated."

    Adrian huffed under his breath at hearing about her will for perfect grades, her fancy family, her Uncles fancy position in life. It kind of disgusted Adrian, but he wasn't about to say it. He was rude and jerkish sure, but he wasn't a monster. Other peoples lives weren't his to judge. Though it wouldn't stop him from teasing her. "Oh~ a princess then. Heir to the throne?" He snickered at her, then looked around, suddenly feeling rather discomforted. This wasn't exactly his kind of place to be. He noted the certain car passing every now and again. Every. single. one, gave him a dirty look. He wasn't from this earth as far as they were concerned, though he didn't let it stop him, all it really did was make him even more eager to walk Ashlee home.


    "So, hey...if I, just so happen to go to school tomorrow, not to say I will, but if I did," He wasn't letting her look at him, he couldn't stand the idea of giving her the satisfaction of knowing she'd won him over, even just a little bit. "Would you by chance...be willing to talk a little more with me, I uh...I have a test coming up, and honestly if I don't pass it their gonna boot me back to military school." He chuckled a little, very, very uncomfortable with the idea that he needed her help, and even more he was using it as a lame excuse to talk to her again. "I'd...uh, really appreciate that, if you could."

    "Heir to the throne? Hardly, I'm studying to be a Pathologist." Ashlee said softly as her eyes glimmered when she was talking about being a Pathologist. She wasn't snooty or preppy like the other kids in the neighbourhood so when people started throwing dirty glances at Adrian, Ashlee huffed as she grabbed her hand to reach her home faster. The brunette looked at Adrian and she tilted her head, he was going to school tomorrow? Great! A soft laughter rang in the air when he talked about Military School. "Sure Adrian! I would love to talk with you even more!" She exclaimed as she smiled brightly at him. "I'll... I'll see you tomorrow then." She said as she smiled brightly at him before she turned and walked inside her home.

    Adrian blushed hard when she grabbed his hand, his entire face blood red, barely paying attention to her as she talked. He had one problem on gods given earth, and that was he couldn't take other people touching him. It simply caused him to become a hell of a lot more timid than he usually would be. As she talked about wanting to become a pathologist he simply shook his head hard, trying to hide his embarrassment. "Interesting...," He managed to mumble something out. As they reached her house he huffed out. So soon?...What!? Why did he even care!? He watched her tell him that she'd be more than happy to see him again, and something fuzzy coming over him. He finally, after almost a half hour of walking with her, let Ashlee see him smile. His fangs stood out among the rest of his teeth. As she walked away, Adrian started putting his hand up, then stopped himself, smiling still as he turned on his heels and started walking his way down the street. "See you around....Ashlee."

    Ashlee blinked as she saw his smile and her cheeks flushed into million shades of red. One thing that makes Ashlee stutter like crazy is when incredibly good looking boys smile directly at her. She could feel her heart pounding against her rib cage and she bet that her whole face was as red as bacon. Rubbing her cheeks slightly, she then walked into the kitchen to get ready dinner for her whole family.

    Adrian was walking his way to school, a piece of toast in his mouth as he looked down at the paper of the material he needed to study over. How wonderful, he couldn't figure a single thing about it out. He let out a sigh between his little fangs and his toast, his tired eyes looking up at the crowed of other students entering the school, and he quickly joined them. He blended only slightly, being oddly tall for his age and looking the way he did, it wasn't all that hard to pick him out. He heard a few whispers, all directed at him. "Look, it's that one kid..." "I heard that he's been to prison before..." "I bet he's gonna get in a fight today." Adrian slowly ducked his head, and clinched his fists, trying to drown out the noises by stuffing his headphones into his ears.


    As he entered the school building, he slowly looked around at the stuffed lobby, trying to see if he could spot Ashlee. No sign of her, so he let out a sigh and headed in the direction of his locker, singing along to his music, softly, so that no one would hear him. "And I'd give up forever, to touch you.Cause I know that you feel me somehow....You're the closest to heaven, that I'll ever be, and I don't want to go home right now..." If there was one thing Adrian would never, ever, EVER share with anyone, it was his tastes in music.

    Suddenly, a few fan girl screams was yelled out as a white sports car rolled up into the gates. Three people got out of the car. Ashton Lysander Hades Julius Winters was a blonde haired beauty. He has brown sparkling eyes and tanned skin and toward over most at 6'2. Ashire Lycan Hermes Julian Winters was a blacknette, with eyes that resembles the forests and leaves, that's how green they are. Everybody was crowding around the brothers and it was obvious they were popular. Ashlee got out next as the siblings stood next to each other, they looke so different, it would be hard to guess that they were siblings! "Be good. Ashlee please make friends, Don't get a girl pregnant Ashton, and please don't be in detention for the hundredth time?" Arion Winters asked as the CEO paused the call for a moment. "Yes uncle." They said in unison before they grabbed their lunches that their uncle threw at them, though Ashlee has trouble with catching it.


    They then watched the CEO drove off as they turned and walked into the school. As obvious, Ashton and Ashire's fan girls started crowding them as Ashlee yawned softly. She then turned and walked to her lockers when she saw Adrian. A smile quirk it's way to he roils as she snuck up to him, "Boo!" She exclaimed as she laughed softly.

    Adrian let out a soft yelp of surprise, turning on his heels with his fist raised to knock the snot out of the little- He stopped and blinked at Ashlee, suddenly finding his nose basically bumping to hers as he stood with one fist raised for a few more seconds, then he backed away, snorting and looking away in embarrassment as he cleared his throat. "Oh, Ashlee, I uh...didn't know it was you." He was gritting his sharp teeth, completely embarrassed by what he had just done. A few other kids in the hall had turned to look at him at his yelp, and were now suddenly whispering about him talking with Ashlee. Oh how the students of that school loved their gossip.


    Adrian huffed out, swiping his hair from his face. "You shouldn't sneak up on me, I could have hurt you!" He spouted out a rambling lecture, though he really didn't mean any of it. He had the reflexes to stop himself if he needed to. He very slowly turned away from the crowds of kids, facing his locker, though looking sideways to smile at her. "I'm uh...sorry for yelling."

    The tiny seventeen year old chuckled softly but blinked and blushed when his nose bumped with hers. She didn't seem to notice the fist being raised about to punch her as she smiled brightly. "Oh sorry Adrian!" She apologised but the laughter after that doesn't really add to the sincerity of the apology. She then blinked and noticed how everybody was staring and talking about them but she didn't really care all that much. She didn't mind him lecturing her as she laughed softly. "It's fine Adrian. I know you wouldn't really hurt me anyway, you're a nice guy." She said as she unlocked her locker next to his. "What class do you have now?" She asked as she gathered her books, face blushing due to his smile.
