My alarm beeped, causing me to wake with a start. I frowned, remembering today was my first day of school in Sydney, Australia. I had moved here from New York City, so the scenery and weather was a little different. I sigh and drag myself out of bed, going to the bathroom to get ready for the day. I apply makeup, do my hair, brush my teeth and all that jazz.
Once I was done I go downstairs and skip breakfast. I didn't eat that much anyways. My parents weren't home, they never were, due to their work. I lived close to the school so I could walk there. I walk down the path that led me to the school. Once I get there I realized I was just on time, which was perfect. As I was walking I find myself not really meeting anyone's gaze, which means I was looking down and not at all pay attention to where I was going, which was actually really stupid when you think about it. I run right into someones chest and fall backwards and down on my butt. I felt really embarrassed and knew my cheeks were red from it. I look up, wearing a sheepish small smile. "I'm really sorry, I-I wasn't paying attention to where I was going..." I stutter a little, after I realized how attractive this male I bumped into was. He was like nothing I'd ever seen before, and his lipring...I was a sucker for those. I swallow, frowning a little. I probably just made a fool of myself in front of a very attractive guy.

I took the stranger's hand and stood up, dusting off my butt and thighs, listening to hims speak. I nodded, indicating I was new. I smile a little and shake his hand once he introduces himself. "I'm Madison, nice to meet you Luke." I say, adjusting my bag. I glance around before shrugging, thinking it was very nice of him to offer. "Sure, that would be great, actually." I realize I didn't know where anything was, and it would be okay if we were a little late. The crowds were thinning out, indicating that class would be starting soon.

I was currently making out with my lovely girlfriend when my ears picked up the words of my best friend, Rian. I pull back and give Rian a confused look. She wasn't normally like this, so something must be bothering her. "See you in class." I say to my girlfriend, who turned to leave, but not before throwing a scowl Rian's way, one that I didn't catch. I lean against my locker with my arms crossed facing her. "What's up Rian?" I asked, concerned. She had been acting a bit strange lately, so I was concerned and wanted to know what was going on.

I follow him, walking quickly to keep up with his long strides. I was short and he was much taller, so it was a bit hard for me to keep up with him, but I managed. "Oh, yeah." I say, pulling out my schedule. "Let's see...I have Biology first, then Calculus, Honors English, Lunch, Music, and lastly gym." I read off, turning my head upwards to meet look at him, before looking around at the hallway of lockers. The classes were approaching, meaning I would need to play close attention so I wouldn't get lost. I subconsciously reach up and make sure my dragon earring was still in place, and it was.

I was a little surprised when she hugged me, but I hugged her back, always enjoying a hug from Rian. I frown, thinking they always had gotten along. "Of course I will. And I'm sure she likes you, your just over-thinking it." I say, with a soft smile. I thought it was really nice that Rian was trying to get along with my girlfriend, and she realized how much she meant to me. That's one of the reasons I loved Rian, she was just so...so...nice and she always thought of others.

I nodded in response to him asking about my honors english. I paid attention to what he was pointing out, flicking my long hair behind m ear. I made mental note of the room numbers. I smiled as he mentioned lunch and music. "Alright, I'll be looking for you." I say, slight amusement in my tone. We turn a corner and I see the stairs. I mentally groaned, knowing that going up and down these would be a hassle, but I will find a way to manage. I always do.
I shake my head to clear those thoughts and instead focus on what Luke was saying and climbing up the stairs. I was rather quiet as I didn't know what to say, and I was in deep thought.

I chuckle and follow her to our class. I release her hand once we get inside, and slide into my seat just before the bell rang. Mr. Bedford gave me and Rian a look, but he couldn't do anything about it since we were in on time. With a sigh he started to the boring lecture and I just spent m time doodling in my book, not paying much attention, as I didn't really care. I swiftly brush some of my dyed hair out of my face before resuming not paying attention.

So far today was going pretty well. I was making my way to the cafeteria, because it was finally lunch time and I was very hungry. Just as I push open the cafeteria doors and spot Luke, I feel someones hand go around my wrist. I turn, a bit confused, to see the face of a pretty brunette. "Hey, the name's Kacy. I can tell your new here, so you don't really know what's up. I saw you earlier today walking with Luke Hemmings...." She spits his name with venom, "And I just wanted to tell you he's bad news. He's our towns...resident bad boy, if you will, and you don't want to get stuck with his crowd." She says rather quickly. It took my mind a moment to catch up. "Oh-I-Uh, thanks for the warning, but I liek to figure out people for myself...and Luke hasn't done anything bad to me...so..." I trail off, unsure and a little nervous by the look. "I don't think your listening to-" I cut her off, getting a little fed up now. "No, I don't think you're listening. I'm going to figure out things for myself. Now please, let me go." I say. She frowned and snatched her hand back. "You'll regret that." She snarls before walking away. I shake my head and turn, making my way to Luke's table, feeling half the cafeteria's eyes on me. I hated being the center of attention, and right now I was really uncomfortable.

I finally reached Luke's table and sat down, emitting a soft breath of relief. I feel Luke's arm go around me and his warm breath tickled my ear as he spoke. I felt my cheeks heat up, releasing a small giggle and glancing opposite of Luke and to Kacy, whose entire table was glaring, but I ignored an turned back to Luke and his friends. I admit, his friends were attractive, but not nearly as attractive as Luke was. I felt my cheeks heat up again as he told his friends to respect me. That made me like him a little bit more than I already did. He seemed like a gentleman, but at the same time, like a badass that doesnt care. I got up with him when he mentioned food. I followed him to the line, trying to ignore the eyes that still followed me. I felt very very uncomfortable when I noticed a guys racking stare over my body. I quickly turn my focus to Luke. I smile as he mentioned the whole bad-boy story. "She's not doing a very good job of telling the story either. I didn't believe one second of that bullsh-t....but maybe that's just because I like to figure people out for myself, I'm never one to judge." I say, moving a couple steps up as the line moved.

I was waiting for Rian to come out. I felt bad that she was stuck in my sweaty gym shirt, I know I haven't washed that in a while. I bite my lip slightly as she came out, and boy did she looked pissed. I was about to say something but she spoke first. Her words caused me to get a little angry. Sure, she had a right to be a bit upset but it was an accident! And this was my girlfriend we were talking about. "It was an accident, Rian! Steph is not a b.tch! Maybe your the b.tch!" I say, crossing my arms over my chest. I was really angry now. "You know what, i've been trying to let this whole thing slide about my girlfriend. I can tell you don't like her, but seriously, calling her b.tch over an accident! That's just rude. Keep the shirt, I'll get some other." I say before turning and leaving, really angry, but also feeling really guilty because deep down I knew that was no accident.

I was now back in the cafeteria sitting with my girlfriend. I wasn't really paying attention to anything really. I felt really bad about what I said to Rian. I didn't mean it, and I knew she probably hated me now. I shake my head and smile over at my girlfriend. I tried to get my mind of Rian by jumping into the conversation. I kept telling myself she had no right to call my girl a b.itch and it was just an accident.

I follow Luke up the line, starting to put food on my plate as well. I looked over at Luke as he spoke, nodding. Sure he could show me it wasn't true. just by the way he was acting I think Kacy really just made the whole thing up. He offered to pay for my lunch and I shook my head at first. "Are you sure? I can buy it myself." I say, subconsciously reaching into my back pocket to feel the cash I had back there. it was a nice offer, really, but I could manage.

< just got a plot idea for Luke and madison. so like he convinces her to go to a party, and she thinks he likes her and everything, and she really falls for him but they aren't dating.and he gets drunk and ends up kissing another girl, thinking it was Madison but it wasn't and she sees and gets really upset, because this wasn't the first time she's been seeming betrayed, bc she hasn't really had a good love or home life so she is really really hurt.<>
