    I rested my head on Demetri's shoulder as he took Nicklaus, chuckling at his words."He is half-American."I pointed out as I looked down at our little son as his wails continued for a few more minutes before dying down, his greenish-blue eyes staring up at Demetri. It looked like he had a little pout on his face before whimpering."You look pale..."I said softly as I put a hand on his forehead before quickly drawing back."Sorry, I forgot that you don't get sick."I said with a chuckle.

    He rolled his eyes,"I plan to take him to Russia he's more Russian then American,"he said shaking his head. He looked down at her when she asked if he was okay. He wasn't but he wasn't about to tell her what he did, he wasn't ready too. "We have to leave...tomorrow or the day after tomorrow..." He told her looking down at there child who finally calmed down

    I looked at him before smiling."You better take me with you once you go, I wanna see Russia too."I said with a grin before nodding with a soft sigh before smiling again."As long as we are together as a family then it doesn't matter where we go."I said with a grin,

    He gave her a small smile,"start packing the things you need everything else we can buy again," he told her holding Niklaus close to him as he looked away. "I have to go again, I need to clean something up..." He trailed off looking over at the door then his phone rang but he muted it not wanting answer it

    I frowned at Demetri's words before looking at him again."What happen?"I asked him as I looked into his blue eyes, my eyes flickering towards his bloody clothes before looking into his blue eyes. I gently kisses his cheek before hugging him the best that I could while he held the baby."Please tell me, I would never think less of you."I said gently with a soft smile."You don't need to hide your emotions from me."I told him.

    he looked at her before sighing, "i killed someone today, well three, a human witch and vampire, they heard about niklaus and wanted to take revenge on what I've done to their maker... like I've said i have many enemies," he told her looking away. "we need to leave before word spreads, many vampires and witches know I'm here and its best to start a new," he added, kissing the top of her head. he didnt go into any details though on those people he killed and why they all joined together against him

    I nodded, trying my best not to show him how scared I actually was. I kissed his cheek before going to pack. I made sure to pack some of Demetri's things before packing mine then the baby's. I walked back and sighed, happy that Nicklaus seemed to calm down. He was now reaching his tiny arms up to Demetri, making a small cooing noise."Nicklaus will be fine, as long as we continue to love and care for him."I said with a grin.

    demetri was playing with him his finger in niklaus's hand waving it around. "Krov' vsegda budet v vashey zhizni , byt' khrabrym voinom moy (blood will always be in your life, be brave my warrior)," he told his son, he was still covered in blood but he didnt care. he stood and got a bottle from the frig, he had gotten some blood as well, enough to last a while. when he looked up to see piper ready, "that was quick i expected you to take a while to pack," he said he never packed he wasn't one to take things along with him since he was always on the move.

    Nicklaus took Demetri's finger and brought it to his chest, cuddling it. I took our my phone and quickly took a photo before looking at Demetri."You said to only pack what we need and I packed you some clothes as well. I packed enough diapers and baby formula for a couple of days along with some of his little toys."I told him before looking at Nicklaus."He's so small, is it safe to travel with him?"I fretted.

    he nodded, "you didnt have to pack anything of mind, i could just buy new ones," he told her as he shook his head. "its okay to travel, i have a car seat in the back of the jeep for him, and i hooked up a trailer to the jeep as well to bring my bike, were put that in the trunk, keep the baby stuff with you though,' he said taking her hand in his and leading her out of the house. "Alvin will take care of the apartment and everything else i also told Katerina so we should be good for now," he told her his words coming in a rush

    I looked down at our son before looking at Demetri."As long as I have both my boys with me then I don't care, I'll go anywhere."I told him as I pressed my lips to his before looking back down at our baby. Nicklaus was still hugging Demetri's hand to him and I smiled softly."Maybe he should call you Papa instead, isn't that what they say in Russia?"I asked him as I smiled lovingly at our baby.

    he nodded with a smile, "ill be called anything he wants me to be," he said going over to the car, not bothering to lock the door to the apartment. he quickly buckled niklaus in before putting the bags in the trunk. he already connected the trailer and his bike on it when he came back from feeding wanting to be ready for when they left. "lets not rush his growth, time flys by and I'm proof of that," he said knowing that his whole life went by so quickly. it felt like just the other day in was in the 70s

    I let Demetri hurry us out and watched as he put Nicklaus in his baby seat before I looked at Demetri."Yeah, I just want him to stay like this forever. He has no worries and it's easy to make him happy."I said softly as I took Demetri's hand."We'll be okay, I know we will."I said confidently as I grinned up at him.

    "sadly its against the all to keep turn children," he said with a chuckle looking over at her as he helped her into the car, being the gentleman he always was. he then got in himself getting in and started to drive off. "where should we go, somewhere not so bright," he asked her letting her pick. "it can be anywhere I'm willing to drive," he added looking at her and giving her a wink

I always worry about you. What would we do if you didn't come home one day?"I asked him as I gently flicked his forehead."You are such an idiot, you know that?"I asked with a fond smile as I pressed my lips to his cheek."I love you...."I muttered softly./font]

    he chuckled smiling over again, "wow you are having quite the mood swings, are you pregnant again?" he teased rubbing his cheek where she kissed him. "i know, but if i didnt kill them they would have followed me home and found the two of you, or would have found you sooner or later, right now their groups must have just found them dead or haven't yet so we have time, its going to be okay," he promised her with a sigh, "if something does happen to me call alvin or katerina she knows what to do and theres a bank account of mine, it'll last you both a very long time if you don't blow it off on silly things like a mini mansion and wild parties every other night where there is steak for dessert," he told her, "but i would leave you both with care and money so theres nothing to worry about," he told her placing his hand on top of hers, "so how about new york, its big enough to hide, plus snows during the winter, but also has the sun during the summer, just incase you wanted to lay by the beach, you'd look so sexy in a cali tan," he joked winking at her a laugh escaping his lips

    I smiled at him, but there were tears in my eyes."I know that I talked about raising him alone back when we first met, but I don't think I could do it without you."I told him before looking down with a blush."What if we got married? It doesn't have to be a real marriage, but if people ask questions then it's easier to say that we are married."I said softly with a small chuckle before blushing again."Sexy? I burn too easily!"I muttered as I crossed my arms over my chest."You're Russian and a vampire so you'll never have a sexy tan."I teased with a smirk.

    he kept his eyes on the road, "marriage..?" he asked he has never thought about getting married not even as a human he knew he didnt think about it. as a human he thought about work and his studies and family not getting married and meeting a woman. though out his vampire life he knew that he would never get married, there was no point for one it was a different process then normal human ceremonies, it was something normally done between two vampires. first of all he didnt love, how could someone marry another if they didnt love. he didnt say anything more not wanting to hurt her feelings. "yes but vampires can't go in the sun and my russian blood means nothing about the sun yes i burned easily as well when i was human, but don't girls absorb sun whether they burn or not," he teased his speeding increasing as he drove

    I looked away when he didn't say anything after that."Yeah, it's a stupid idea."I muttered as I looked down at my feet and clenched my fists before I looked over as he continued to speak. I scoffed and rolled my eyes."As if, I've never been able to tan. I just burn like a lobster."I joked and smiled at him before resting my head on his shoulder."So, how do you feel about me?     He sighed and looked ahead again,"I don't know how I feel about you piper, you are very important to me," he told her though he wondered why she cared so much if he loved her or not wasn't it enough that he was with her, that he cared for her, wasn't that enough. "I don't love piper I care for you and I want to be with you cant you be happy with just that?" He asked keeping his eyes off her
