SnowFoot padded up to her apprentice. "Wanna train today?" She asked.
-
Firepaw nodded with a smile. "Yes!" he meowed, happy to train.
-
"Come on." She mewed, smiling. She padded towards the training hollow.
-
Firepaw followed.
-
They arrived at the training hollow. Snowfoot padded 3 tail lenghs away from him. She sat down and nodded to her apprentice. "Attack me." she told him.
-
Firepaw nodded. The tom then jumped at his mentor, trying to slash at her ear.
-
Snowfoot ducked and leaped under him, reaching her paw out to get his underbelly.
-
Firepaw was hit. He landed on his paws but was a little unsteady at first. He turned to his mentor.
-
"You alright?" she asked him, standing up straight.
-
"Yes." Firepaw said then lunged at her.
-
She fell back. "Very good." She purred. "Act of suprize, that will be usefull in battle."
-
Firepaw nodded then took a step back. He waited for Snowfoot's orders.
-
"Okay, now im going to teach you some hunting tecnecks. Come on." She flicked her tail and turned to pad towards the forward.
Sorry im a bad speller
-
Firepaw nodded, then followed behind his mentor.
-
Snowfoot stopped. "Okay. Now, watch me. " she mewed, crouching down, letting her tail drop. "Notice how I keep it still, and slightly above the ground." She mewed. "Then you need to slowly move forward, like this." She slowly moved forward, lifting her paws.
-
Firepaw watched closely, memorizing the crouch and how you walk when you hunt prey.
-
She stood up. "Now you try." She mewed to him.
-
Firepaw nodded. He got into a crouching posion, letting his tail drop. He then started to walk slowly, lifting his paws up.
-
"Very good." She purred. "Nlow go try." She nodded to him.
