OOC: Then I shall have the honors. C: | BTW, long post cayse opening paragraph. And I'm guessing a somewhat interesting title, curious to see what'll happen when plot comes in play.
IC: During just what seemed like a normal morning, Ryumaru was walking on the cobbled path that lead to the massive staircase, which went all the way to the highest accessible part of the town, the DWMA. As he started climbing up the stairs, he looked to his left and right silently, his hands in his bottom's pockets, hidden under the cloak and fancy clothing he was wearing, simply enough because he didn't feel that open to everybody, being all by himself with no acquaintances whatsoever nearby. He was trying to figure out what exactly his partner, would be and look like. A male, or female? What sort of weapon could they become? What are they like as a personality? All the questions were cycling through his head as he somewhat smiled oddly, at the said thoughts.

that cool. )
Hana adjusted her headband as she looked around, feeling bewildered. She had, of course, gotten lost. After climbing up the massive staircase, which was hard enough to do without falling down them trying to catch a butterfly, she had to navigate her way through the corridors of the Academy. She spotted a meister with their weapon still in form, and decided to follow them, forgetting completely that she had a class to go to. Once she remembered, she couldn't find where she was. And she didn't know anyone there, and was too embarrassed to ask someone who had been going for a while.
Perfect.
Looking around, she spotted a male walking down the hallway beside her. Spotting his nametag, she perked as she realized he was even wearing a nametag -- which meant he was new. Two heads are better than one, she thought as she walked over. "Uh, h-hello?"
-
He looked at her, nodding somewhat tiredly. "Mornin'.." After greeting her, he yawned, not being completely up and awake yet, in any way possible. He seemed like he had no idea of where to go either, considering if he did he wouldn't have been wandering throughout the hallways like the newcomer he is. Ryumaru then realized somebody talked to him, smiling as he greeted again, less tiredly and more energetically. "Mornin' to ya!" His change of mood in that short a time was somewhat worrying about the sort of person he'd be, to the average person at least.
-
"Hi, um... you're heading to class, right?" The girl asked, shouldering the bag slung over her shoulder. "I, uh, kind of got lost. Would you mind if we walked together?"
-
He laughed, the laugh sounding as if oddly enough towarded to Ryumaru himself, since he was used to laughing at himself a lot whenever he screwed up. "No problem! Say, say, what are ya? Weapon or a Meister?" He asked, taking off to a random direction as he had no idea where to go either, trying to just make a good impression to her, quite obviously too.
-
"Oh! Um, I'm a weapon," Hana answered, pointing to the tag pinned to her shirt. "My name is Hana. And you," She asked, eyes sparking. She looked entirely invested in his answer -- for a period of about three seconds. Suddenly, her head jerked to the side, and she raced to a window suddenly. "Oh wow! Look at that bird," She chirped, completely oblivious to whatever her acquaintance's answer would have been. "Wow, it's so pretty..."
-
Ryumaru laughed, following her however with ease, ignoring how oblivious she currently was, answering her question. "I'm a Meister, and my name is Ryumaru Oinuma! Glad to meet ya, eh... What's your name 'gain..?" He asked, having already forgotten it, being somewhat similar with Hana's short attention span in that very aspect.
-
"Huh..." Hana paused, looking at him confusedly. She then perked. "Oh! My name's Hana, Hana Nakamura. Nice to meet you." She tucked a lock of loose hair from her ponytail behind her ear. "So... Wait, you're a meister?!" She perked. "Awesome!!"
-
He chuckled in an oddly friendly way, trying to be humble by replying with. "Come on, it's not that amazing. I mean, what could be a better ability than turning your whole body into a weapon? Imagine just suddenly turning into a shield with one hand and blocking anything that came at you! Now that's what I'd call amazing!" It wouldn't take her long before she'd realize, he had no idea what actual weapons were about, neither about what he was exactly referring to while speaking about his opinion.
-
"Heh heh...." Hana sweatdropped. "Y-Yeah, I'm not sure exactly how it works, but I think if we try to block anything we might get hurt..." She shrugged. "That's what I've been told, anyway." She rubbed an arm. It was clear the prospect of being a weapon was not exactly fun. "W-Well, we should probably get to the classroom. Do you know where it is?"
-
He looked down, frowning. "T-Then it really has to suck being a weapon, huh.." He muttered to himself, before looking up and suddenly forming a somewhat shocked expression, before falling on his knees and holding his head, his eyes watered as he stared at the floor immensely. Ryumaru was then heard lowly. "I-I never learned where the classes are in first place... C-Crap..."
-
Hans sank down next to him, looking nervous."h-hey, don't worry! I didn't either, I didn't even ask anything..." She put a hand in his shoulder. "I'm sure a teacher will come through here eventually..!"
-
He sobbed, seeming somewhat sad. "E-Even if they do, w-we've lost enough plentiful time of lesson and all, training or finding partners or whatever! W-What am I going to do..." He then said, looking down again as he seemed more worried about that than anything else, at the moment.
-
"Well..." Hana blinked, then shook her head, teying to remain focused. "If everyone else has partners, I can be yours." She smiled a little bit, trying to comfort him. "So we'll be evenly matched, right?"
-
He looked up at her, smiling somewhat. "Y-You're..." He then thrust himself up and glomped her tightly, laughing oddly. "...t-too kind! Thanks!" He said, his reactions being close to having been scripted in an actor's script for a comedy, hence too random and unpredictable.
-
Hans laughed, seeming not to notice. She hugged him back smiling. "Of course! I wouldn't want you to be left alone without a partner." Her smile shrank a little when she thought, Although he won't want to stay with me past the first day... she perked suddenly. "Woah! Look at that! Someone left a bracelet on the ground," she said.
-
He looked over, having completely snapped out of it as he removed his hands from around her, blushing slightly though due to the scene he had just created, being awkward for both of them. "H-Huh, where?" He simply scanned the floor with his eyes, even though he couldn't really distinguish it laying on the ground.
-
'Oh wait. It's not a bracelet. It's a rubber band." Hana huffed. "Darn. I wanted a new one." She threw the thing back on the ground and turned to face her new friend. "So, what we're we talking about again?'
-
He shook his head, looking at the right end of the hallway. "N-Never mind that, we'd better get to class first and get scolded together, since we're a team..." He still sounded worried, unsafe of whether he'd get shouted at, punished or just let by like that, with such a goof. "A-After we find it at least.." He then continued, closing his one eye in a nauseating burst from all of a sudden.
