The Greek gods and goddesses of Olympus once reign in their palace in the sky. There was peace, but as society evolved the belief in these beings dissipated. They have been weakened and the security of Olympus has been breached. The gods and goddesses flee to earth and change from their celestial form to their human form in order to disguise themselves. Just when they think things can't get worse they do. They start to develop diseases designed especially for them and what they each represent. The gods and goddess know that this is the work of the titans. The titans have grown to power and plan to rid themselves of the Greek gods and goddesses and then throw the world into a complete state of chaos. In order to prevent this these celestial beings must track down their forefathers and slay them for once and for all or die trying. This will be a difficult task since their diseases are worsening everyday. Some will not make it and lack in perseverance while others will fight their way to the end, even if it is their undoing. Is death their only option or will they finish their tedious journey?

PERSONALITY →
Artemis could be summed up by what she represents; the moon, the hunt, and the wilderness. The goddess is a free spirit and hates to be tied down to someone or something. She despises enclosed places and feels much more at home in the vast wilderness where she is free to do what she pleases. She is in a sense like a mustang, an untamable spirit. If she doesn't know you the feminine can be quite cold and won't warm up to you easily until she gets acquainted with them and knows them more in depth. Artemis isn't the goddess that you want to make an enemy of. She is a formidable opponent and if you have done something to her or someone she loves she will hunt you down and deliver a punishment that she sees fit. Artemis is independent and she normally doesn't want to ask for help. She feels as if asking someone for something shows weakness and if she needs something she doesn't want to ask until it is her last option. The goddess feels as if love as a weakness and very rarely falls in love which is also due to her vow of chastity. If someone has fallen in love with Artemis then the hunt is on and they'll have to pursue her. On very rare moments would she actually give in to the feeling. There is only once in history where she fell in love and it did not end well. The feminine is scared to fall in love again and she thinks that if she falls in love no good will come of it. Love is the one thing she fears.

HISTORY →
Artemis is the daughter of Zues and Leto, a goddess that Zues had an affair with. Leto birthed Artemis and Apollo on the desolate island of Delos which was the only place she could give birth to them because Hera sent the dragon, Python after her. When Artemis was a child she asked for six wishes from Zues. These wishes were yo be able to live life chaste, to be able to be a lifelong bachelorette and never marry, a bow and arrow, hunting dogs to assist her hunting, stags to lead her chariot, and eighty nymphs to be her hunting companions. Artemis roamed the wilderness with her nymphs and dogs. She has been known to kill many terrifying beasts with ease and grace.

Artemis rarely was in the company of males with the exception of her brother Apollo, but there was once a time when even she fell in love. The goddess fell in love with Orion and he became her hunting companion and confidant. Apollo was jealous and wanted his sister's attention back. While Orion was swimming out at sea he made a bet that she couldn't shoot a moving target from that far away. Eager to overcome his challenge she shot the moving target only to realize that it was Orion.

Chastity is important to Artemis and if one of her nymphs doesn't keep it she is easily angered and will punish them. Zeus seduced one of her nymphs, Calliope and once the goddess found out she turned Calliope into a bear and ordered her hounds to kill the nymph. Zues intervened and placed Calliope in the sky as a constellation.

According to the story as told by Hesiod, Aphrodite was born to Uranus (the father of the gods) when his son Cronus castrated him and threw the severed genitals into the ocean. The story says that the ocean began to churn and foam around the genitals and from the aphros, Aphrodite was born.
In a story by Homer, she was called the daughter of Zeus and Dione. Stories say that after her birth, the gods would fight over her hand in marriage and so Zeus married Aphrodite off to Hephaestus, the smith god who was considered to be the steadiest of the gods.

Aphrodite’s Marriage to Hephaestus
Hephaestus was thrilled with his good fortune and worked hard to create many jewels and prizes for his beloved Aphrodite. Aphrodite loved glamour and fancy things and loved the attention that was lavished on her by the other gods and even mortals. She wasn’t pleased with being married to Hephaestus.
One famous tale explains how Hephaestus made Aphrodite a golden magic girdle, carefully crafted as his finest piece of work with all the best and lavish jewels. Unfortunate for him, this magic girdle made Aphrodite all the more irresistible to those that wanted her, both gods and mortals alike.

Aphrodite and her Mortal Lovers
Of the many mortal lovers that Aphrodite was said to have, the most famous was probably Adonis. Sons of Aphrodite include Eros, Anteros, Hymenaios and Aeneas (from her Trojan lover Anshises). Aphrodite has the festival, Aphrodisiac which was often celebrated in Greece, especially around Athens and Corinth. In these festivals, she had priestesses who were women who represented the goddess and sexual intercourse with them was believed to be a method of worship.
Aphrodite was believed by many to be an old Asian-goddess, much like the Mesopotamian Ishtar and like the Syro-Palestinian goddess, Ashtart. Aphrodite has been attributed with the swan, the dolphin, the lime tree and the pomegranate.

She had four children: Eros, Anteros, Hymenaios and Aeneas. Aphrodite was a nurturing mother and took many opportunities to expose her children to the world, events and various cultures. With the help of her children, she was able to control a large population of the world.

Persephone when you first come too meet her all depends on the season, if it is fall to winter she is rather cold and unwelcoming (mainly from being down in the underworld), if it is spring to summer she is with Demeter and rather more pleasant to talk with, caring and rather lovely she is during that time. As Persephone is a rather determined young goddess she is always up too help others (specially heroes).

Sly and cunning is she, tending to figure her own way in life she has a certain way with her way of speech, and even the way she walks and how she tends to portray herself too others. She is rather lovely and though, after all she is goddess of of the Spring. And which she is rather bright and rather selective on the way she works. She loves her mother and also her father, as she was taken away by Hades in such a time when the earth was bright and she was happy. Of course she doesn't mind Hades.

For Persephone has learned too work with the god of the Underworld rather kindly. And of course Hades did play a rather dirty trick to get her down in the underworld in the first place, she was only a girl, wanted to pick the flowers of the fresh spring as usual. And yes there was h.ll to pay for Hades taking her, but she had grew found of the man. He is the only company she has in the underworld after all.

But she is rather rude some times, if you catch her at a bad time, well it won't end up all too well. But she will always stand by Hades of course. And we'll rise above our adversaries of course.

a harry potter one shot for my oc

Sitting in the Slytherin commons room was a small female figure lying on one of the many couches in the room. The Slytherin commons room was located in the dungeon of the school, and like every other commons they are locked by a secret password. Sure the doors are hexed too not let anyone in that was not apart of Slytherin. The floor was black tiled, having a large fire place in which serpents were carved into. The green hues of the flames were marvelous some could say. The ebony table in the middle of the chairs and couches next to the fire had some books atop of it, maybe an ornament or two that made the room come somewhat together.

The figure that lied on one of the couches was a rather short girl, she seemed to be only in the five foot range of height, probably five foot two. Having short blonde dyed hair, it seemed her natural hair color was most likely brown. Her eyes were a dark blue, blue like a sapphire actually. Her skin a porcelain white, she had a few freckles but her skin was mainly a white milky color. The girl's name was Karola Esze, a pureblood as well. The Esze family was a well know and rich family, the family was either working for the ministry of magic, or they took up on the national quidditch teams. Of course Karola was a quidditch player herself, have been playing quidditch since she was five. So the girl had a strong liking to the sport, so of course some thing the Romanian girl would take up on the occupation. But the truth was she wasn't too sure what she would do after school. But she had two years to think about all that.

Karola lied there on the couch, as she was resting her head on the arm of the chair. It was around midnight maybe a bit later, but the girl unlike the others who were asleep had a strong case of insomnia. Meaning it was harder for her to fall asleep, she hated the fact she had the disorder but she couldn't stop it. Though the girl had became a bit schizophrenic from the long lack of sleep. Of course she got some sleep, though that ended too be about an hour long which wasn't good enough. Karola crossed her arms slightly as she stared into the fire, it popped once in awhile as sparks popped from the burning flames.

Hearing a nice and soothing melody as she lied there she almost began to drift off to sleep. But then the girl kept herself awake, as she then noticed the sound was a violin. Where was the instrument coming from? Her curiosity rose a bit more as she stood up her gaze bright as she found a new burst of energy. Getting off of the couch the girl walked on forward to find herself following the sound of the melody. Heading threw the Slytherin door way she walked down the right hallway, of course she had to be stealthy if she was caught by professor she was screwed. Plus she'd make Slytherin lose further more points than they need to be taken away.

Walking onwards she noticed the sound coming from inside of room with the door shut. Taking out her wand from inside of their knee high laced up black boots. "Alohomora." The girl whispered flicking her wand slightly as the door opened up. Putting the wand back in her boot the girl noticed the figure that was conducting such instrument. It was a ghost of all things, standing in the middle of the room as it played. It was a man, he seemed to have dark hair, and what she could say she didn't see his eyes for they were shut.

Quietly the girl walked into the room, it was covered by the moon's light as it was rather beautiful. As suddenly the ghost stopped playing, as he opened up his eyes that where a right light blue color. "Who are you?" The spirit asked as he looked at Karola as he brought the violin to his side. She had never seen this ghost before, she had seen most of the spirits but there wasn't a lot of times. "My name is Karola Esze from Slytherin, who may you be?" Her questioning look at the spirit was rather noticeable. For she didn't want to be rude, after all she never saw this figure before, and so he may be shy.

"I'm Nicholas Jones, though most people now call me the Violinist." Spoke Nicholas, his gaze looking at her. Nodding her head the girl understood why some would call him the Violinist, he played the violin and rather good as well. "And why would someone so young be out at this time?"

"I have insomnia I have a hard time falling asleep."
"Oh I see, well, would you link to hear a song?"
"Sure, I'm all ears Nicholas."

As she said those few words the man smiled, as he began to play the melody of a gorgeous song once again. And so the girl sat and listened through the night. Not drifting off once, as she loved the sound. It was beautiful.

though she was barely focusing on him during their venture, anne had heard alter respond to her question. new york... state, not city, apparently. how boring. he must know she was disappointed by the response. it did explain his... style, though; in latvia, anne was brought to believe that the states were fairly conservative, at least in comparison to europe. when she got here, she understood this was limited a bit to the southern states. new york wouldn't be so restricted. anne found herself wondering new things about this streudel—was he liberal? should she drop her southern sweetie vibe to win his favour?

anne didn't dwell on this thought long, which usually could be accounted for by flakiness and a generally rampant mind, but here it was because a girl about her age bounded in with a youthful glow about her. the nurse seemed entirely condescending in her manner of addressing the girl... must be another mentally challenged kid. anne made a point of turning all the way round in her chair to watch the blonde bounce off towards vic. she was beginning to smile too rudely, amused by the young woman's happy-go-lucky, dumb persona, and quickly corrected herself to make a sweeter, more genuine grin.

gaze and, for that matter, entire body turning to follow the newcomer to their table, anne blinked several times before addressing... alaska. "oh, darlin', 'course you can." anne pulled out a chair, not taking her eyes off this girl, staring in wonder. there were enough rooms for all of 'em to have their own rooms—the girls, anyway—but anne kind of wanted this girl to be her roommate. would be an interesting challenge, having someone almost as spotlight-worthy as she was constantly in her presence. "i'm called anne labelle. i think we'll make great friends, alaska. what're you in for? where you from?" the barrage of questions suddenly unloaded was not something uncharacteristic of anne, and she could tell it may have been too much to ask at once (especially for this girl she'd deemed r******d), but she would've asked sooner or later.

anne then reconsidered her quickness. did 'alaska' know where she was, even? she seemed much happier to be here than alter was, who anne assumed was fully aware that he was just made inpatient at a long-term facility. it was almost as if the doctors had avoided telling her the hell she was about to experience. anne eyed aluna, just now pulling up by the window; maybe she should get an 'i'm terminal' joke out of the leukemia patient to sharpen alaska.

They will inflict pain to take out their anger, they have ruined lives and entire families, cursing some for all eternity. But they are not evil at heart.
