★ after taking off at a lazy pace from takane's joining, the large feline yawned, his eyes half lidded. he was a bit tired as always, but had offered a tour to her as he did everyone. "alright, so we're closest to both the hunting grounds and the lake, but i'm gonna go to the lake first because i like it better." the warden told her from ahead, although he slowed his pace a bit more to let her catch up. ikare liked the deer grounds more, but he wasn't the one showing her around, so it was sei who was the real winner here. as he was walking, the male decided to strike up conversation. "so, what made you join this place?"

Her eyes eagerly absorbed up their surroundings. She had a good memory and didn't forget things easily at all, so learning the territory would be no problem. She half-listened to the first thing Sei said, but snapped out of her trance to hear the question. "Oh. I've been a loner most of my life and I was intrigued by the idea of joining a clan. A stranger told me of this one so I decided, 'why not?' and came to join." she meowed simply to the larger feline; it wasn't much of a story. "I'm glad I chose this one." She smiled to herself for a moment before turning to look at Sei. "How long have you been here for?" she asked, keeping the conversation boring.

"ah," the warden replied to her story with a nod, walking next to her now instead of in front of her. any slower and she'd probably have to resort to dragging him along, he'd suppose, but for now that wasn't going to happen. he still hadn't given her enough time to realize how big a jerk he was internally.

in response to her inquiry, he didn't give it much thought. "i used to liveeen a different group, but i ditched it when they went down. i met ikare a little after that and founded this place, so you could say that i've been here since we made it." he really liked the quiet that the prison brought, since he had looked for it in the strange castle that snowclan had in his time there. but he didn't like too much to think of it.

in the distance was the tree that was next to the lake, so he could tell that they were getting closer. he usually wouldn't have gone against his implanted instincts, but for now he hoped that he didn't fall asleep.
