Ashpaw needs a mentor!!!

    "Now just keep breathing deeply." Sivermoon meowed. Pinefur sat by his mate his eyes wide as the next kit came out.

    The kit came, it was a dark hazel she-kit. The third kit came very soon it was a black and white she-kit. " Wow!" Shadekit mewed happily and walked over to Ashpool with her brother following behind...

    "Good you are awake the den I was talking about is right beside this one." Silvermoon meowed. She helped carry the kits to a smaller den it was warm and cozy and a old queen was sitting in the cave, "Ashpool this is Frostpelt she is to old to have any more kits but, she will help you raise yours." Silvermoon meowed. Then went off to help another queen, "Poor Silvermoon she is one out of six of the medicine cats it must awfull trying to care for all us and dosen't even have a apprentice." Frostpelt meowed.

    " Yes, I think Shadekit, when she becomes an apprentice she could train to be a medicine cat." Ashpool mewed. Shadekit walked into the den " Mama, I want to be a medicine like Silvermoon!" Shadekit mewed to Ashpool. " I'll ask her if you can, okay?" She mewed, then stared down at her young kit they had gotten bigger already. " Where is Pinefur now?" Ashpool asked...

    "Right here and I have prey now I must get more prey there are less toms here then you think." He meowed. Then he headed up the rocks and saw a mouse eating a nut. He had slowly moved moved towards the mouse. Then Pinefur heard a soft meow the mouse ran for cover but, Pinefur caught in time. He looked around for the noise he jumped from rock to rock. Then he found a tiny kit just about two days old like his own she was white and meowed for its mother, "HELLO ANYBOBY HERE I FOUND YOUR KIT!" Pinefur yowled. There was no answer, "Well I can't just let the hawks take you." He grabed the kit gently in his jaws forgot about the mouse and headed back to the den where Ashpool was, "Ashpool I know we have enough kits to take care of but, I couldn't let the hawks take her." Pinefur meowed he gently dropped the kit next to her. The kit meowed looking for milk.

    " Of corse i'll take! It but first we have to make names for our kits." She mewed. " The black and white kit can be named Ravenkit! And I also like the name Hazlekit, do you like them? And you choose the tom." Ashpool mewed happily. She guided the small white kit to herself " Snowkit." She mewed, " I like snowkit. How about you?" She asked Pinefur...

    "Yes I love that name. Now the toms name should be smokekit!" Pinefur meowed, "Is it just me or dose Snowkit smell like snowclan to you." Frostpelt meowed, "I can take care of him for you."

    " He does but she also smells like Darkclan!" Ashpool added. " And I think I can take care of her, Oh and Pinefur can you get us some fresh kill?" she asked Pinefur sweetly. " Mama were hungry!" Ravenkit mewed, " Can we have more milk?" Hazelkit added. Snowkit laid there silently sleeping " I hope she will be okay it was pretty cold up there!" Shadepaw came in the den and dropped some herbs in front of Ashpool, " These are yours mother, Silvermoon told me to give them to you! It's fun being a medicine cat!" Shadepaw mewed...

    "Alright I'll go get some more prey." Pinefur meowed, "Hey Pinefur do you want to go hunting with me?" Appleshadow meowed, "Sure thing!" Pinefur meowed. Then Pinefur spotted a hawk," Appleshadow up there!" Pinefur meowed, "Yes I see and there is a mouse under it too." The two cats waited for the to take it. Then flew down to grab it. Thats when Appleshadw jumped and grabed its legs. Then Pinefur ripped the feathers off its wing so it couldn't fly away if it got loose. Then Appleshadow jumped up for the neck and killed it, "There its all yours I already have enough for my kit." Appleshadow meowed. Then Pinefur went back to the den, "Ashpool I have a HAWK for you." Pinefur meowed.

    " A HAWK! Thats amazing, what does it taste like?" She asked happily, " I think our kits can try there first prey, do you have a mouse or a vole? Nothing to chewy." She then took her first bite of hawk, " Thats wonderful! Thank you to Appleshadow!" Ashpool mewed then gave her kits a mouse that was eating a little plant in the corner of the den, " do you like it kits?" She asked her one moon old kits...

    "I love it!" meowed Hazeltail, "Me too!" Ravenkit meowed," Its okay" Smokekit meowed.

    "Mama I hate this food can I go play outside and pratice my fighting moves?" Smokekit meowed, " No Smokekit there are hawks out there." Pinetail meowed, "But I can kill a hawk with one swipe!" Smokekit meowed, "Smokekit Pinetail is right hawks are a get danger to you." Frostspelt meowed, "I was asking my mother!" Smokekit snickered.

    " You can practice in the back of the cave." Ashpool mewed, " I will pin him down very very fast!" Snowkit mewed determinedly...
