What if the "original" Frisk went missing along the timelines, and Core! Frisk realizes they can't find them. They probably freak a little, and suspect some sort of anti-void like where Error!Sans resides. But as they don't really have a physical form, they need to the enlist the help of those two do and those who can traverse between space-time. Gaster isn't likely, but Annoying Dog, creators of Aus and the PLAYER can.
So what do you say? We play ourselves moving our characters?

I sucked at video games, but this one was an exception. I had to try it, at least once. I spent ten hours of my life watching a play through and countless more on the internet- I was flipping ready to have such a good time.

It wasn't hold before I noticed I wasn't alone. I mean, the yelling and screaming kinda gave them away. Adjusting my shameless anime sweater and dusting off my pajama shorts, I turned to face them. I was.... Spooked, to say the least, but not overly terrified as I should have been. In fact, I felt kinda... Like I was anticipating something. Like before a race.
I blinked, realizing that I was staring at their over world sprite. Everything wasn't nearly as pixelated as on the screen, but they did appear like... Well, kinda like in that movie Pixels? A little like that. "Um-"
I took two steps forward, and suddenly the familiar beeping noise appeared. I gasped and shuddered, seeing something... Multicolored pop out of my chest and hover in a little white cube between the two of us. The landscaped flickered into black and white and I was left with Undertale's oh-so-famous encounter screen.

A notification would have popped up in front of the newcomer. I, currently, was freaking out inwardly. I questioned my sanity. Maybe I was lucid dreaming? It was pretty freaking vivid for a lucid dream.
It seemed I could continue with another action. That was weird. Wasn't this normally turned based? But then again, nothing was normal. I hit the act button again, seeing a [i]Notifyoption. I pressed it.

They turned towards me, nodding. The dialogue box that popped up had their expression shifted slightly, though I didn't know if it was surprise. "Yes. You can call me Mono, if it's easier. You know me, but... I don't know you. "
