The Sickness is Spreading... (RP Thread) Can it be stopped?

(I think Cobalt can survive a little longer... Just hurry and save his tail before he becomes feed for an Aerodactyl)

The small Vulpix who's five pretty tails shined even in the dark (Kinda reminding you of a black cat in the city if you know what I mean here, if in the dark) had his eyes spot Cobalt. The small shining eyes of the tiny fox Pokemon told you he was scared and worried.

Unfortunately for Cobalt, his Dragon Pulse did little to deter the Aerodactyl; rather, it instead just landed the Pokémon with a burned throat as he saw a huge leg attempt to crush him. And with a broken ribcage, that wouldn't exactly be great for his health.

He desperately blocked the clawed leg and pushed against the stronger force that was trying to kill him. His throat couldn't handle another Dragon Pulse thanks to the rib fragments poking and churning his lungs into a bloody mess; and his strength was beginning to fail as he fought back with an iron will.

Its safe to say he needs help

Things may be getting chaotic, but perhaps also cute. But the Vulpix didn't LIKE being called cute. He didn't DISLIKE it either. But it wasn't him. Glaring in fear mostly but including worry, he jumped back. (WHY IS IT THAT WHEN I IMAGINE THIS IT'S THAT REALISTIC?)

"Huh?" Seeing the Aerodactyl his body seemed to move on his own. He used Extreme Speed rushing past Vivian and jumping over the aura Pokemon with his head down ready to smash into the flying rock bird.

An Extremespeed from Arc did little save push the Aerodactyl off Cobalt for a thankful moment. But now its attention was directed at the Arcanine, who was at a severe Type Disadvantage unless he had something to make up for it...

The Lucario let his head fall back onto the ground as exhaustion took his body's energy away. But adrenaline continued to fuel him, the near-death experience enough to piss the Lucario off for him to stand up against his injuries.

Fortunately, he still had his trump card waiting to be used...

He drew his paw into the azure scarf that wrapped elegantly around his neck, his paw gleaming with what was now a rarity in society then...

IC: Nick hurried out of the tunnels to stop to catch scent of the air for a moment. "Where is she?" he thought to himself as he ran off. His feet carried him away from the tunnels for a moment until his eyes caught sight of the forest nearby, causing him to think that Raine might of stayed there for shelter until he could come and get her. "Hold on Raine!" he thought as he thundered towards the lush green trees. He stopped after running in the forest after 57 paw steps at least, he then froze as he saw the lucario struggling with one of the fossil pokemon, making him cringe with a dark thought before he started up the move, Flame Thrower, although he knew this wouldn't do much effect to the flying pokemon.

Raine looked at the furret surprised that it ran up to her to help, she then slowly staggered to her paws because she didn't want to be seen as vulnerable although she wanted to run from the normal type to keep it from catching the disease. She couldn't really speak in long sentences anymore since the disease is starting to deplete her energetic, social side but what came out of her mouth was,"I just want to go to the hospital, if you can, take me there so my soul can pass away there..."

Arcanine attempted to keep the aerodactyl preoccupied with a flamethrower after he landed blasting it right into the direction of the rock bird but he wasn't done, as if it couldn't get hotter he turned his flamethrower into a fire blast by upping the power it got very hot, changing the flames from red to a threading blueish color.

Nick then started charging at the Aerodactyl and had an attempted leap at it, the Flamethrower was now in full charge as he launched the flame at it, it did little damage before he fell to the ground, smashing his face into the earth.

Damn it, now wasn't a time for him to be crowded by passer-bys! He softly pushed Vivian away by the snout as he glared daggers at the Aerodactyl responsible for his crippling wounds.

If he could speak, he'd be muttering quite a colorful language by then...

He tightly clutched the Lucarionite as it pulsated in his paws, the rare stone enveloping him in a Magenta glow.

Before long, he reemerged as a different beast altogether... His wounds no longer hindered him as badly, though he would still have problems moving. But he was now more than capable of taking this featherless bird on.

[color=red]He didn't account that the Aerodactyl had a Mega Stone too... And it chose this time to Mega-Evolve too...

Arc was slightly blinded when they both mega evovled and he growled. "That not fair!" He gave the aerodactyl a frustrated look. "Great its not only stronger but bigger!" he began to think, he needed to use this building to his advantage. Looking at the ruined concrete and mtel poles he got an idea. He ran to a slab of the concrete about the size of himself and used rocksmash on it letting the metal poles be released he picked one up and tossed it from his mouth to right in front of the newly mega evolved Lucario. "Use that to give you an edge!"

Damn it! Damn it all!

Cobalt caught the pole with relative ease and eyed the Arcanine in acknowledgement, now seething with rage as he and the Mega-Aerodactyl charged each other.[color=red]

And it was something straight out of Dragonball, both attacking, dodging, blocking, and feinting at a speed that made a Ninjask duel look slow.

Close Combat, Heatwave, Metal Claw, Bulldoze, Extremespeed, Aerial Ace; the moves that were used kept piling up as the two combatants fought to the gruesome death.

Finally, everything came to a head when the Mega-Evolved Aerodactyl backed off and took off into the air. There was no way that it would back off so suddenly...

[color=navy]And it took Cobalt a while until he realized what the enemy was up to...

[color=red]Sky Attack... If that hit him head-on, this city would become his grave...

[color=navy]He needs to counter it! ... He needs a move that can counteract the power of that Flying Type Move...

Got it

He winded his paw back as it began to glow blue, the Mega-Lucario's eyes shut tightly to focus as the glow intensified tenfold.

Focus Punch

Arc waited watching the battle with a smile he knew that Lucario would win. He grabbed another metal pole only this time he threw it at the aerodactyl spinning wildlyly in the air making it near impossible to catch. "Take that!"

This ends here...

The Aerodactyl and Lucario were at their breaking point with their last and final blow, the former diving down to have gravity aid its already deadly attack towards Cobalt.

And Cobalt would take it no other way as it winded up the Focus Punch further. And one thought only drove him to fight and win.

And he swung his charged palm at the diving Aerodactyl, meeting the Sky Attack head-on.

Everything slowed down as the attacks comnected. The sickening crunch of bone shattering was a good sign. Cobalt was sure of victory... But his expression turned to horror as he suddenly looked down.

The Sky Attack met his vulnerable Torso, with nothing to protect it. Even though his Focus Punch killed the Aerodactyl, it did little to stop the momentum of the Attack as it sent him flying with the corpse into an adjacent building

[u]Lost...

Arc blinked and it was over. "What in blue blazes? Where'd they go?" He looked around and he didn't see them then again he didn't see them because he was looking to high up.((lol derp))
