  • ooc~ Here's the thread for Salmonpaw and Autumnheart, the mate I made for him! Let's have fun~ :D

ic~ Autumnheart padded out of the warriors' den and out into the bright sunlight of the morning. Her russet-red pelt seemed to glow like fire in the sun's rays. She threw a cautious glance toward the apprentice den before helping herself to a fish from the fresh-kill pile.

  • (Thanks. And if your interested in the maximum ride series I have one going.)

Salmonpaw walked out of the apprentice den and stretched as the warm sun hit his ginger pelt. He looked around to see if his tormentors were in camp since he didn't see them in the den. With no side of then, he made his way over to the fresh kill pile.

  • Autumnheart looked up from her fish, seeing Salmonpaw coming up. No other cats were really around, and she gave a small sigh of relief. "Hello, Salmonpaw," She greeted him softly.

  • Autumnheart looked down at her fish again. "It's nice... having the fresh-kill pile to ourselves. Company is nice once in a while, but sometimes it's better with fewer cats. Do you know what I mean?" She hoped he wouldn't think that she didn't like his company- because she did, very much! She snuck a glance up at the apprentice. It wasn't that long ago that she was an apprentice herself, and they would have been training together. She was only a new warrior, after all. She shyly returned to eating her fish.

  • "It is as long as certain toms don't show up."Salmonpaw said.

  • "Right... that's it, isn't it?" Autumnheart said softly. She finished her fish and stood. "I'll be heading out on the dawn patrol. would you like to come along?"

  • Autumnheart stood, throwing a glance around the camp and spotting a couple of cats coming toward them. "Azurewing, Cometshine." She greeted them quietly. "Ready to go?"
The four cats went to the camp entrance and paused there. "Cometshine and I were going to check on the ThunderClan border and the forest. You and Salmonpaw check the river?" The big long-furred blue warrior, Azurewing, suggested. "Sure." Autumnheart replied. She watched as the littermates padded out into the thicker forest. Then she turned to Salmonpaw. "River it is, then? Have to make sure those fish are in line..." She purred.

  • "I just hope there is nothing waiting for me."Salmonpaw mewed.

  • "Only fish!" Autumnheart purred. "Which, let me assure you, is nothing to worry about." She said kindly. She didn't want Salmonpaw to be nervous. "Let's check out that river."

  • Autumnheart sat down by the river's edge. "Looks pretty wet to me. Good enough?" She asked jokingly. The apprentice still seemed a bit nervous, and she didn't want him to be nervous around her.

  • Autumnheart purred as well. "Guess the river's in good shape, then!"
