It's called To Sit in Solemn Silence. "To sit in solemn silence on a dull dark dock In a pestilential prison with a lifelong lock Awaiting the sensation of a short sharp shock From a cheap and chippy chopper on a big black block." I've always wondered what the meaning of the poem was. I thought it was about a person who was about to be executed, but I'm sure it has some other sort of meaning. Any thoughts?
