"Sure" I said. "Does Sader usually take this long to hunt?" I knew i had wasted my first question but it seemed like hours since she left. Puppy purred and jabbed a claw into the boy.

"Well. Um yea she should be back by now. I just thought she wanted a few extra deer." Jax let slight worry creep into his tone. He kind of sat up but held Puppy in a way that wouldn't make him fall. "Even if she did want a few more deer, she would be back..." Jax looked deep into the woods.
-
"Should we go look for her?" I asked, hearing the worry in his voice. I stood up and looked towards the woods. Puppy wriggled abit but just sat there.
-
"Yea." Jax answered almost automatically. He sat Puppy down in the grass and came to his feet. He brushed off and headed off into the woods. It was only a few minutes into his little journey that he found a deer head. A little bit of blood pooled around it. "Hey Cam. Come look at this." He said her name and turned it into a nickname.
-
I had put Puppy inside before we left. I heard Jax say my name and i came over. I almost puked but i held it. "Hmm...Well i see she did get a deer." I said, trying not to hurl on it or Jax.
-
Jax noticed the sort of sick look on Cami's face and put his hand on her shoulder. "You ok?" He asked tilting his head, he sort of moved them away from the door head, then something caught his eye
The deer body. "Yea... She got one alright." Jax came in behind Cami so she wouldn't see the headless corpse. -
"I'm fine." I lied. I covered my nose with my hair and to hide the light blush from his touch. I didn't like contact very much but i didn't let it show. I looked at him. "Can you tell which way she went?"
-
"I could try to find out where she went." Jax said, starting up again. He sped up until they reached the city. Jax didn't really think she would've gone into the city but he went looking in the city anyway. He crossed the street and walked down the sidewalk.
-
I followed him and looked down the alleys. As we walked i saw someone bleeding. I knew it was a girl. I grabbed Jax's hoodie and stopped him. "Found her." I said, letting go and hurrying to her side. "She's bleeding!"
-
Jax stopped at her words. He turned his head to the little girl in the road. "Saber..." He sprinted over to her body and knelt down right at her side. "Saber?" He looked at the large gash on her back. He was filled with rage. Whoever did this! Whatever did this! Will die! He thought. He put his ear up to Saber's face. She was still breathing. Good. But her breaths were shallow and short. Jax turned his head to a loud roar. A Stabber. The Stabber.
-
I looked at her but i stopped at the scream. I turned and froze. It was a Stabber. I didn't know how to react so i just stayed quiet.
-
Jax scooped up Saber in his arms, bridal style. "You." He growled, not even acting or sounding like himself. Jax laid Saber in a close by alley way. He glanced back at Cami. "Get back in that alley way. Don't come out until I say so." He ordered, getting his hands ready to blast the Stabber. It lashed its tail and screeched again. It was looking directly at Jax.
-
I nodded and went over to Sader. I crouched down and made sure she was hidden. I turned invisible and touched her hand. It pained me but i had to deal with it. I made both of us disappear.
-
The Stabber ran at Jax but Jax was faster. He raised his hands at the Stabber, palms out. Within seconds flames blasted from his palms and hit the Stabber right in the face, blinding him. It made the Stabber acre out in pain. Jax drew his knife and ran at its legs. He stabbed its front legs a few times and slid under then moved behind the Stabber and burned it from behind. It leaped forward and screeched once more.
-
I closed my eyes blocking out the sound of the screams. It was almost unbearable. I bent down and buried my head.
-
Saber slowly lifted her head and opened her eyes half way. The scream and woken her. She winced and lerched forward, coughing up more blood. She was so weak she was trembling. Meanwhile Jax sent flames up the Stabber's back. It crowd out and fell down. Then Jax ran along the Stabber's side, a small and shallow cut on his torso. He winced but kept running, burning the Stabber in the face. It screamed and slowly went silent, dying finally.
-
I stared at Sader. "Don't move to quick." I whispered. "Take it easy." I could bear the screaming anymore.
-
Saber's throat burned. She leaned back against the wall. Her back felt warm and damp. She leaned her head forward and rested it on her knees. Soon falling back into darkness again. Jax put his knife away and jogged back over to the girls. He knew his chest was bleeding. But he didn't care about that now. He just needed them both safe. "How is she?" He asked. Then looked at the small puddle of blood she had coughed up.
-
"She was awake and in shock." I said. "We need bandages or something for both of you." I wish i would have brought my bag. I didn't know how to handle any of this so i became emotionless.
-
"I'll be ok. We just need to help her." Jax said picking up Saber once again. "Come let's go. You ok?" He asked and started walking off.
