Mirriam giggled "Yup!" she barked. She waved her puffy, small tail around.

Pyro grinned toothily, his jet-black tail wagging underneath him. He reached forwards and gave Mirriam's muzzle a quick lick.
-
Mirriam giggled and licked Pyro back. She smiled. "How about if we go hunting?" she asked.
-
"Sure" Pyro barked, then smiled sheepishly.
"I will if you get off me, you great lump" He growled playfully, flicking some snow on her with his tail. -
Mirriam laughed and then got off Pyro. She shaked the snow off her "Lets race to the forest.Ready?Go!" she barked, and then raced away into the green forest.
-
Pyro pelted after her, laughing. He caught up to her and ran side-by-side with her to the forest. He came screeching to a halt at the edge, panting, his blue eyes lit with laughter.
"Beat ya" He growled playfully. -
"Dont think so!" Mirriam barked, and then ran faster.
-
Pyro raced after her, enjoying the rushing wind as it brushed his pelt. He grinned and raced past her, glancing over his shoulder to yowl a teasing challenge at her. It was then that he felt his paws leave the ground, and for a split second he was running in mid-air. Then he fell, eyes widening in terror, down the cliff-face.
OOC: making some drama ;)
-
Miriam wanted towarm him,but she was too late. She stopped and looked down "Pyro!" she yowled.
-
Pyro yowled in terror as he plummeted through the air, the wind whistling in his ears. He glanced down, and realized he was about to land in the freezing cold lake. He barely had time to think before he landed with a splash, into the churning icy-cold lake.
The first thought that crossed Pyro's mind was that he was dead... he had felt intense pain and agony, but now... he was numb. But just as the thought crossed his mind, his senses came back to him: blistering cold, numbing pain, and a roaring sound. He could feel water seeping through his fur, and when it touched his skin, his body screamed protest at the cold. He began to shiver uncontrollably, and his mind grew foggy and hazy. He vaguely realized he was churning his paws, and soon his head broke the surface. -
"Pyro! No!" Mirriam wanted to shout for help, but nobody was around.Without thinking, she jumped from the cliff, the wind bristling through her white fur.She looked away in tears, before landing onto the surface of the lake. She felt cold around her,but she ignored it and tried to seek for her mate.
She found him and then tried to swim to him. "Pyro! Are you okay?" she barked, worried.
-
Pyro, hearing the call of his mate, turned around and gasped.
"Mirriam! No!" He barked. Why had she come down here? She could get hurt... He paddled over to her, shivering and numb. The cold of the water didn't affect him anymore.... -
"We have to get out of here!" Mirriam barked, and then looked for the ground "There!" she said, pointing with her nose to land not too far away. She tried to paddle there,as she felt coldness of the water.
-
Pyro made to paddle over, but his paws didn't seem to work anymore... He started to shiver uncontrollably, and panic flared in his blue eyes.
-
Mirriam looked over her shoulder at him "Pyro?Come on,we need to get out of here, and fast!" she barked, her voice shakind slightly. She got him on her back and tried to paddle then.
-
As Pyro felt himself lifted onto Mirriam's back, energy rushed through him at the touch of her pelt against his. He had to protect them. He felt adrenaline rushing through his frozen joints, releasing them from numbness. He churned with his paws madly, propelling forwards. He spun around in the frothing icy water, and yowled to Mirriam.
"Mirriam! Can you paddle?" He yowled, making his way back over to her. -
Mirriam shivered even ore "I-Im feeling cold...." she said, but still paddled to him "B-but I-I think I can make it"
-
Pyro watched her worriedly, and paddled behind her.
"Ok, just try to concentrate on the land, nothing else" He said softly, and nudged her forwards lightly.
"I'm right here" He reassured her, adrenaline still keeping him warm (as warm as he could be in this situation ;) ) -
Mirriam nodded "R-Right" she barked, then she started paddling, her tail helping her. Then she felt her paws touch the ground of the lake "W-Were there!I-I can feel the g-ground!" she barked
-
Pyro felt his paws touch ground as well, and he quickly clambered onto the icy shore, collapsing on the ground. Now that his adrenaline rush was gone, he felt numb with cold.
"We should find shelter to warm up..." He mumbled, shivering but standing up and standing beside Mirriam all the same. He felt as if it was his fault he had done this to her, and he had to keep her safe. He pressed his black pelt against hers, hoping it would lend her some warmth.
