    Two rival packs. Two pairs of couples. What could possibly go wrong here?

    ·Madeline Holt·
    Madeline, who was currently in her wolf state, patrolled the borders of the territory with her slightly annoying best friend Wren. She was quiet as she walked but froze suddenly as she smelled something very familiar nearby. The smell was something that lingered in her memory like an annoying song stuck in your head, it would never leave. "Wren! Be quiet!" She snapped as her friend continued to hum very loudly. She began to carefully stalk forward trying to find the owner of theses scents.

    Wren was unconsciously being very annoying during this patrol, he was asking the dumbest questions and singing like there was no tomorrow. When Madeline suddenly told him to shut his trap he quickly obeyed, despite her looks Mads was extremely fierce and will challenge anyone. He less carefully followed her as he also caught the scent and he knew who it was. Quickly he ran in front of Maddie and earning a bark from her but he wanted to see their friends. His tail sagged happily as he got closer to the scent.

    Scarlett was walking along the territory, in wolf form, with her friend Alexander. She was checking to make sure that the borders were still good AND to hopefully see if a certain wolf was hanging around. Her ears perked up when she heard some thumping and she sniffed the air. Her tail began to wag wildly as she ran towards the familiar scent.


    Alexander watched her run off and he frowned. He too was in wolf form. He sniffed the air curiously and his eyes grew wide as he ran after Scarlett. He began to pant and his tongue hung out of his mouth, happy and excited to be able and see his friend once more.

    Madeline was frustrated with her friend as she ran after him suddenly she saw Wren stop and two most important wolves in her life. "Scarlett! Alexander!" She barked happily with her tail wagging wildly. She couldn't believe she blanked on the scent of their childhood friends, it's been a while since they last seen each other and they all changed. Quickly she went back to her human form so she could give both her friends the biggest hug ever. She moved her red hair out of her face and waited for them to get closer.

    Wren was the first to see Scarlett and Alexander and he was howling happily in the loudest way possible. He thought that they would never see each other after they stopped being pups but luckily it wasn't going to be true. He saw Maddy change and he did the same, they looked so different and he began to wonder what there human form looked like especially Scarlett. It was true that Wren had a thing for Scarlett but only Alexander and Madeline knew because anyone else would kill him. Despite is pup crush he swore to Mads that he would go any farther beyond a crush.

    Scarlett was too excited to change. She ran at Wren and she leaped and tackled him. She whimpers happily as her tail wagged quickly and she began to lick all over his face. Her paws were by his head and her hind paws were by his hips. She barks happily and she runs over to Maddie and begins to turn around her quickly in a circle, whimpering happily.


    Alexander stopped and he watches Scarlett in amusement. He sat there for a bit and he shifts into his human. The years sure were good to him. He chuckles in amusement as her ran his fingers through his dark hair. He looks at Wren and laughs as he walks over and holds his hand out to him," need some help there, bud?"

    Madeline laughed as Scarlett tackled Wren and went all crazy, she bent down and gave her a wide hug "It's great to see you!" She laughed happily. It was like a family reunion, Madeline was so happy that she could cry but she wouldn't at least not now. She released Scarlett from the hug and smiled "How have you been?" She wondered looking at both Scarlett and Alexander. Wow did Alexander changed, he looked so different that if he didn't those green eyes then she wouldn't have a clue who he was. Maddie stood up and looked at Scarlett.

    Wren was surprised as he was suddenly tackled, he gave Scarlett a light hug as she pretty much attacked him. He watched as she went to Madeline and looked up to see the one and only Alexander "Thanks." He laughed and took his head to stand. "Looks like life has been good to you!" He laughed again and he gave Alexander a brotherly hug. Wren turned towards Maddie and Scarlett with his hands in his pocket in a calm manner but inside he was screaming and cheering. Yes Wren did try and act all cool and confident but sometimes he looked dumb but he tries.

    Scarlett pants happily as she sits down and looks at them. She slowly shifts back to her human form and she grins at them. She hugs Maddie back tightly, so happy to finally have her bestes friends in the whole wide world back. She grins," I'm excellent! and you two?" she asks as she scurries over to Wren and hugs him tightly.


    Alexander laughs in amusement, his laugh deep and very masculine. He watches Scarlett in amusement and he walks over to Maddie. He smiles and hugs her," Its good to see you two again... And yes, life has been good to me, at least, I think so," he says in amusement, his voice rumbling in his chest

    Madeline hugged Scarlett once more and hugged Alexander, she lightly flicked his hair and smirked "Life has done a decent job." She teased playfully. She turned to Scarlett and smiled "I've been great, I just got promoted to Beta Huntress so I'll be the next in line for Lead Huntress." She smiled. She looked at Wren since he didn't speak and saw his jaw wide open as he started at Scarlett "Your not a frog close your mouth." She said closing his mouth for him. "Wren here will be teaching a new group of pups soon." She told them.

    Wren couldn't believe his eyes when Scarlett shifted into human form, she looked amazing and he was speechless. His jaw hung open as she hugged him and he hugged back but Madeline quickly closed it for him. He looked so dumb right now but he couldn't tell at the moment. He knew Mads was going to kill him after this because he was showing all of them his huge crush which sort of scared Madeline because she didn't want things to get too far. But it was impossible when Scarlett looked like that.

    Scarlett blushes a bit when she saw the look on Wren's face. She laughs a bit nervously but when Maddie mentions puppy training, she gasped and then giggled as she placed her surprisingly soft hands on his," awww, that's so adorable!" she looks at Maddie and she chuckles," I watch pups and make sure they don't get into trouble. Because we all know how pups can be," she says with a grin and a laugh.


    Alexander stares at Maddie as he grins," well, I just became the Beta for the Sentries. Next thing you know, I'll be leading all of the warriors into battle," he says jokingly, amused.

    "Congrats Alexander!" Madeline smiled before adding "Can't wait to see you lead battles." She laughed. She looked at Scarlett "Oh we definitely know!" She laughed if they weren't trouble making plus then they would have never met. She looked at Wren who was regaining his posture but still looked like a complete dork but many wolves in their pack love that. To Maddie, Wren was like brother so she didn't feel attracted to him in any way. Madeline found it funny that her and Alexander were moved up to some sort of Beta position while Scarlett and Wren watched after pups.

    Wren was surprised as Scarlett suddenly grabbed his hands with her soft ones, he gulped and slowly began to rebuild his posture. He definitely fell head over heels for Scarlett but nobody would understand why not even Maddie since she never had crushes as far as he knew. "That's awesome." He finally chocked out with a smile soon he regained his dignity and spoke more confidently. "We should start meeting up again, we need to catch up on things." He said receiving an uncertain look from Madeline. He really wanted to see Alexander and Scarlett again but Maddie needed to be there in order for the family to be complete.

    Scarlett grins as she let's go of his hands and looks over at Maddie," I would love that! We should do it! It's been forever!" She says excitedly and she clasps her hands together.


    Alexander laughs and chuckles as he nods," I agree. I've missed you two and I want to catch up and such."

    Madeline bit her bottom lip lightly as Wren turned to her and started begging, she sighed and finally gave in "Okay I'm in." She said crossing her arms. "Maybe we should meet up every night when most of the pack is sleeping." She suggested, the last thing she wanted was for her friends to get catch. Maddie was usually scared to meet up because if someone catch them her friends would be in big trouble and she rather it be her and not them. "We also need to find a place to meet up." She added. Madeline loved her friends dearly and even though she was nervous about meeting up she was also excited to catch up.

    Wren was excited when everyone agreed but Maddie, he turned to and got on his knees. "Please Madeline! Pretty please mads! The family won't be complete without you!" He begged and continued to beg. Until finally she brought and gave in. Wren was too busy cheering to listen to anything else she said.

    Scarlett squeals in excitement and she hugs her tightly," Thank yoooooooouuuuuuu! We should meet up tonight!" She says happily, seeming to the buzzing with excitement.


    Alexander laughs in amusement and he smiles, shaking his head," you're so crazy..."

    Madeline smiled lightly as Scarlett hugged her "Okay but where should we meet up at?" She asked knowing this wasn't the best spot to meet up without getting caught. She looked around as she tried to think of a spot that was rarely known by the other wolves but she suddenly got it. "Do you guys know that abandoned cabin by the river? Where the bridge connects the two territories?" She asked before continuing, "Well the pack doesn't like going near that place so maybe that could be where we meet up." She suggested. It was a pretty decent sized cabin with that would be perfect.

    Wren didn't have any idea about where to meet up but Madeline brought up a good place. Both of them visited and wanted to use it for something but now it had a purpose. They just needed to clean it, fix it up a bit, and put food and other important things plus the back wouldn't mind anyway. The pack was pretty lenient with the rules and wouldn't be too upset if they were gone for the night as long as the showed the Betas where they could be but they don't really check up anyway.

    Scarlett grins and nods quickly," yeah! I know where that is! That would be perfect and we could clean it and all that good stuff!" She says in excitement, smiling happily.


    Alexander chuckles and smiles, nodding agreement," agreed. That would be perfect. "

    Maddie smiled happily and nodded "Great then we'll meet up there tonight but Wren and I need to head back to the pack at the moment." She said giving both Alexander and Scarlett a tight hug before shifting. She looked towards Wren with her amber brown eyes and waited for him to shift before they head back to the pack. They needed to get back before everyone met in the town square to do a roll call to see if the entire pack is there before everyone went to bed or at least to their homes.

    Wren sighed as Maddie brought up heading back because he didn't want to leave yet but at least they will meet up later. He gave Alexander a pat on the back and Scarlett the biggest hug ever "See you guys soon." He said before going into wolf form.
