Nightsky smiled blushing at what the deputy said as he nudged her affectionally

Minnowtail glared seeing this. He turned and exited the camp.

Nightsky sighed seeing Minnowtail leave following Minnowtail " what's wrong" Nightsky asked him

"Nothing I'm just going to get some water," he answered.

"I'll come" Nightsky offered

"Sure," he said.

Nightsky nodded padding out of the camp waiting for Minnowtail

Minnowtail followed her out. He headed in the direction of the stream.

Nightsky followed " what's wrong?" she asked after silence

"Nothing is wrong, " he said.

" Keep telling yourself that and you don't just live camp for no reason with out getting your job" Nightsky said

Minnowtail bit hack a retort.

" Tell me" Nightsky pressed

"Tell u what, " he asked.

" What's upset you" Nightsky said

"Nothing has," Minnowtail said simply. When they reached the stream he bent down and began to lick up water.

Nightsky lapped up the water as the deputy of the clan padded up to her whispering to her making her giggle

Minnowtail's fur bristled slightly but he ignored them. He stretched and scented the air for prey.
