Things became easier and they found they faced each day with renewed vigor and wanted to face it head on, to show that they wouldn't be beaten down anymore and now they wanted to prove they were of use, that they had a purpose. For a few days the lion had come to track a small herd of deer, with young slowing their progress the herd was slow in getting through the moors in their search for somewhere to keep them fed and safe through winter, planning out how to bring them all down. It took quite a while but finally everything was falling into place and it was nearly time to put their plan into action, there was just one more thing Isena needed before they could do just that. Long strides brought them through the sea of green, picking up until they were running, drawing them closer to the main encampment, laughter bubbling up from deep in their chest. This small task of merely running proved exhilarating but it couldn't take the edge from their excitement, a rather horrid stop did. Digging their claws and the balls of their paws into the loose soil to try and slow their momentum only sent Isena sprawling, tripped up by their own paws before they collapsed into a mass of black fur. Quickly they came to untangle themselves and jumped back up, a smile plastered upon their lips yet heat scoured their skin, their voice slightly shaky as they spoke. "Who wants ta help me hunt some deer?" |
