  • [fancypost bordercolor=transparent; width: 450px][justify]To be entirely honest, Peachmoon herself wasn't sure how it all had happened. But, nevertheless, it had happened.

Instead of being in her usual champagne fox body, she'd found herself in one much more...abnormal. No longer was she able to properly stand on four legs. No, instead she could only stand on two. She was like...a human, almost. Perhaps if it weren't for that she still had ears and a tail.

The girl was now a feline anthro with soft, alabaster fur. It greatly resembled the body she was born in, minus her shoulder-length hair she now possessed. She also had piercings in her ears, which were currently holding a set of capsule pill earrings in place. (Goodness, who knows how she got those. Perhaps she had become quite the skilled sleepwalker.) However, what she did remember was how she had gotten a hold of the clothes she was currently wearing. She'd found those within a drawer in her cabin from general curiosity if she would be able to fit in human clothes, too.

Stepping out of her cabin, the girl was now wearing a navy sailor fuku-esque outfit which happened to fit her quite nicely. "I'm sort of human," she murmured to herself as she continued to examine her paw-like hands with great fascination.

"P-Peachmoon?!" Edward sputtered, golden eyes widening as he staggered to a halt in front of the familiar femme. He almost crashed into the ground at her.. paws? feet? because he was so taken off-guard. He felt pathetic and, well, a lot shorter than usual. The advisor frowned, looking up at her in awe. "What the hell happened to you?"

"A human!?" exclaimed egg as she rushed over to the scene, eyes widening as she caught sight of the anthro. This was, it was, well - "it's even more weird than my 'stories'" and by that she meant her lies, "i just have to tell everyone! they'll never believe me and it's true!" the little feline was almost jealous of peachmoons body, she wanted one! imagine her as a little anthro, she could wear adorable outfits and have long beautiful hair and it would be great!

  • [fancypost bordercolor=transparent; width: 450px][justify]It certainly didn't take very long for someone to notice. Well, she couldn't exactly blame them after they'd recently been forced out of their previous home by humans. "I'm not sure," Peachmoon answered with a slight shrug of her shoulders. The girl sat down neatly, for being taller than usual made her somewhat uncomfortable. "It's amazing what you can do with hands," she spoke, holding out her paw-like hands for the two of them to see.

how odd... bottleblonde couldn't help but stare at peachmoon. she stood on her hind legs — or maybe they were considered just legs now — and her paws were oddly shaped, looking more like hands than anything. her head was covered in this strange, fur-like mess of light-colored locks, coming down to her shoulders. the ears and nose and eyes were all intact, mostly, as was the tail, but it felt as if peachmoon was more human than animal: it was uncanny, really. bottleblonde wasn't sure if she was envious or terrified of the medic's new 'do, and so she wavered awkwardly a few paces away. peachmoon was still peachmoon, face as pretty as ever, but there was something about her elongated torso or those hybrid paw-hands or the fact that she walked like a human that unsettled her.

it'd take some getting used to, she guessed.

"y-you loook, uh, um..." bottleblonde stuttered, deciding to compliment her anyway. it was only polite, and besides, she could keep her negative thoughts to herself: there was no need for bottleblonde to put somebody else down just because they weren't her idea of perfect. "b-b-beautiful! i, uh, like your... w-w-what is it caaalled, o-on your h-head?" she wasn't sure what kind of fur that was, but it was pretty, albeit different.

Edward didn't know how to feel about this. It was.. unnatural. Like a human-animal hybrid - know in alchemy as a chimera. Technically, any animal combined with any other animal was a chimera; but the combination of a human and an animal was banned centuries ago. It was impossible, for all he knew. But here Peachmoon was, living proof that human-animal chimeras could be achieved. Maybe this wasn't through alchemy, but some other science..?

Edward broke away from his troubled musing when Peachmoon spoke again. He blinked and his gaze shifted to her hands, eyes wide in child-like awe mixed with worry. "W- gah! Your paws are so.. long. Damn, how do you deal with that?!" It was sort of creeping him out, and yet scientific curiosity kept him near.

  • Sharkattack dropped the herbs from his mouth when his jaw unhinged in shock. His partner in medicine was a humanish animal now? How in the world does this work? He contemplated shifting to his Dhole form to say something, but the medic couldn't really think of anything to say at all. What could he do? The medic sat down, watching the scene in front of him as he flattened his ears. Great.

at the sight of the anthro, the wolf with the tipped hat had to do a double take! crashcourse was pretty sure that he could do something like that, except he was sort of affected by the wolf sickness, which his roleplayer momentarily forgot the name of in hr rush to read his route. oh well. "whoa, how'd ya do that?" he was sure that only wolves could do it, though, and was confused. perhaps foxes, or whatever the name of the animal she had been, were considered canines? wow, he really needed to do more research on canines, because he was kind of stupid.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 280px; text-align: justify; font-size: 10px; text-transform: lowercase;]the first thought essie had when she saw peachmoon's anthro body was that [i]she didn't like it.
it was unnatural, more so than the mutations that practically overflowed the clans now. the savannah stared at the human-like creature sourly, back up several steps and pinning her ears back. nope nope nope. it was too much, especially with how the humans had repeatably destroyed their homes and uprooted the clan.

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=; border: none; width: 400px; font-family: times new roman; text-align: justify]Gene awkwardly tumbled up. "Hi! I'm Gene!" The kitten introduced himself with a squeak.

  • [fancypost bordercolor=transparent; width: 450px][justify]Peachmoon had expected the stares filled with disdain; not that she really cared what they thought. Aside from gaining hands and a few other minor features, she could likely pass as a cat who was ridiculously talented at walking on their hind legs. It was sort of amusing, actually. Still, she wondered what exactly she was. After all, it wasn't like she'd ever seen an anthro before.

"It's fur, maybe...? Really long fur," Peachmoon guessed as she drew a hand up to run her fingers through her hair. That wasn't really normal either. "And these? It just feels sort of natural to me, I guess." Not that she'd ever been a human in some sort of past life, but she'd grown accustomed to her new body quite easily.

The girl's attention was then drawn to Crashcourse. "I woke up from my nap like this," she responded with a shrug. For someone who had just woken up in an entirely foreign body, she was awfully calm. "I bet this body could prove useful, though. I can tell you that it's quite useful to have two paws free instead of using all four to move."

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=; border: none; width: 400px; font-family: times new roman; text-align: justify]The kitten tilted his head to the side, and wondered if he was being rude by staring, "What... what is you?" Gene inquired, as he began to lick down his white fur, which was sticking up in tufts... he also had flower petals, and stems in it... though he didn't care much about that. They made him look pretty!
