    [font=cursive][color=mediumpurple]Rules
[color=oldlace]-No powerplaying, godmodding, Mary-Sues, graphic mating, or killing someone else's cat without their permission. I personally don't mind gore, but please put it in a spoiler for the sake of those who do.
-This is a traditional Clan. Be realistic when making your cat, and when roleplaying them. One cat cannot defeat a large enemy alone, no powers or purple cats, stuff like that.
-Please don't roleplay your cat(s) until they've been accepted.
-Don't start any major plots without my okay first.
-I'm not strict about post length, but "He nodded" is not enough. Try for at least 2-3 sentences.
-Please avoid chat on the sign up thread. Things like asking/answering questions about the Clan or anything relevant to the sign up thread is fine.
-You're welcome to make as many cats as you like.

  • Finchstar woke rather early. He stood up in his nest, giving his limbs a nice, long stretch before exiting the leader's den. The tabby took a deep breath, enjoying the morning air. It was still somewhat foggy now, but he could tell it would be a sunny day later on. He padded toward a large tree and sat at its base. Finchstar began to groom his brown coat, not quite ready for breakfast yet.

Lilacstem opened one eye, still laying in her nest. The sun was in the process of rising. The she-cat curled her tail around herself tightly, covering her nose. "It's not time to wake up yet," she whispered, very faintly to avoid disturbing the other warriors.

  • Autumnflower woke with the sun. Always. But today she didn't want to get up. It was leaf-fall and definitely cold. But no forst. Yet. Shivering the medicine cat shifted in her nest. But she had herbs to store for the cold winter. Slowly she stood and got out of her nest, which was on a ledge you had to jump to get too. She jumped down and padded over to her herbal storage, which was a wall with holes in it. A ledge that acted like a table was there too. Silently she finished putting away the herbs she hadn't got to last night.
Then as the sun rose higher she added moss and cotton to all of the nests including hers for warmth. White cough posed as a threat now. Quickly she checked her mint storage. Plenty. The lichen that covered the entrance still had rays of the sun showing through it.

  • Ghostpaw

The young tom emerged from the apprentice's den, bright eyed and bushy tailed. He sniffed the air, the cold morning air filling his nostrils, as he could smell dew. The tom stretched his limbs and flexed his claws, before padding into the clearing

  • butterflyfrost had never quite forgotten her late mentor's strict training, and so was an early riser. sitting up in her mossy nest, she cleaned a few clinging scraps of bedding from her coat before leaving the den. blinking in the weak sunlight, the silver female stretched and yawned, showing sharp, white teeth. spotting her mate sitting at the foot of the tree, she sidled over to him.

"morning, love," she purred quietly, sprawling next to him in a patch of warm sunlight. busily, she turned her sleek head and began to groom her pale fur, lapping at it with her tongue.

  • Hearing others awake the medicine cat pushed her way outside. Silently she padded to the frssh kill pile, nodding to Ghostpaw on the way. She chose a mouse and layed down in front of her den, eating silently.

  • Silverwhisker was grooming his light grey pelt, his thicker fur shielding him from most of the cold. He looked around, pleased to see cats starting to rise. He had been awake before dawn because he was not able to go back to sleep.

Poppyfeather stumbled from the warriors den, her vision still blurred from sleep. She knew that she should probably take Ghostpaw out for some training. She looked around for the pale apprentice carefully.

  • Finchstar smiled softly at his mate as she greeted him. "Good morning," he replied. The tom stifled a yawn that threatened to interrupt his words. Though he woke early often, he still found himself slow to fully wake up. Finchstar gave his mate an affectionate lick on the forehead, then returned to grooming his own pelt. He soon finished, satisfied with the appearance of his fur.

Shadow woke, and stood up stiffly in what could charitably be called a den. He was somewhere in the forest. Exactly where, he did not know. It had been quite a while since he ventured anywhere near LavenderClan's territory. He was very uncomfortable with being so dangerously close, but he knew that even if the rogues wanted to go looking for him, they weren't likely to approach LavenderClan's territory. Not at this time, anyway.

  • at his gentle touch, the warrior uttered another affectionate purr. she then got to her feet, shifting her weight slightly before sitting, grey tail curled neatly over her paws. her mouth opened halfway, then closed, as though she had wanted to say something. she found herself at a loss for words; how could she possibly trouble him with this, when he had his duties as Clan leader? butterflyfrost let out a barely audible sigh.

  • Ghostpaw

The tom padded over to the fresh-kill pile, his ears flicked and he picked up a mouse. :"I better eat before I have to train" He thought to himself, he padded back to the apprentices den, and sat down. He started eating the mouse.

    Redpaw

The she-cat awoke from her slumber, she laid in her nest for a few moments, before standing up and stretching, flexing her claws as well. She padded out of the apprentices den, nodding to Ghostpaw :"Good morning." She mewed, before padding away

  • Finchstar could see something wasn't right with Butterflyfrost, but she seemed hesitant to tell him. The leader cocked his head slightly to the side, looking at his mate with concern in his expression. "Is everything alright?" He asked her.

Having slept sufficiently, Lilacstem exited the warriors den. She gave her back a stretch and made her way to the fresh kill pile. Looking it over, she chose a small squirrel for herself and took it over to a spot that she knew would provide shade. The sun wasn't quite all the way up yet, but it would be soon.

  • Ghostpaw

The tom nodded his head to the she-cat apprentice and proceeded on eating. After a few moments, he finished and licked the last taste of mouse off of his whiskers, before standing up. His ears flicked whenever he saw his mentor.,Poppyfeather and padded over to her. :"Hello, Poppyfeather." He greeted, dipping his head

    Redpaw

The apprentice yawned, sitting down at the edge of camp, and started grooming her fur. Once she was done, she scanned the camp clearing for her mentor, spotting her next to the leader. She didn't go over to her though, since she was talking to the leader. :"Maybe Butterflyfrost and I could explore..today." She said to herself, before standing to her paws

  • no, she couldn't tell him that she wanted kits. especially with leafbare coming. "everything's fine," she meowed brightly, gazing adoringly at finchstar. butterflyfrost loved her mate dearly, but right now she needed to get out of camp. "i'm going to take redpaw hunting, if that's okay. we need to work on her technique." casting her blue gaze around camp, she spotted her apprentice and beckoned her over. "redpaw! eat something, we're going hunting!"

    _______________________________________________________________________________________

  • The quiet medicine cat listened to the world outside. She flicked her tail and organized more. Long ago she started putting leaves over the holes in the walls to protect them from the cold. She knew where everything was. The poisonous herbs were higher up, out of a kits reach. She longed for a cat to come visit her.

  • Redpaw

The she-cat was lost in thought, until she snapped out of it once her name was called. She looked over towards where her mentor was, nodding in response, before padding over to the fresh kill pile and picking up a squirrel. :"I wonder if Butterflyfrost has ate yet" She wondered, she padded over to her mentor, the squirrel in her mouth and tilted her head slightly, saying :"Do you want to share?" Although it was slightly hard to understand, since she had a mouthful of fur

  • Poppyfeather tried to ignore Butterflyfrost and Finchstar's loving displays but she shook her head. "Finders keepers." She murmured, clearly distracted. Ghostpaws voice pulled her back to reality "Oh, hello Ghostpaw. I was thinking we would do some hunting training in preparation for the leaf-bare. Do you have any objections?"

Silverwhisker jumped to his paws and padded over to Butterflyfrost. "I am sorry for interrupting, but while you and Redoaw are training, could you also check the borders? I just can feel something." He muttered the last sentence to himself. most likely, it was just one of his crazy thoughts.

Rabbitjump was still snoring in his den. No one had woken the deep sleeping warrior and he was quite bad at waking up himself. His whiskers twitched as the Tom was deep in a dream.

  • Ghostpaw

The tom looked at his mentor, shaking his head. :"No objections." He said, with a smile. The tom was always happy to hunt, although he did make mistakes every now then, but to him, learning from his own mistakes was a bit fun.

  • Poppyfeather purred and thought to herself He is such a great apprentice, he listens and practically trains himself! before responding "That is great. I think we should start in the thickest part of the forest, maybe look for some mice." She meowed and padded out into the forest.

  • Finchstar looked at his mate with an expression that said, If you say so. He made his way toward the fresh-kill pile and quickly ate a small mouse. The leader watched the camp bustle as cats woke and started their day. He smiled at how content the Clan was, but the smile soon faded as a cold breeze reminded him that leaf-bare was approaching fast. Finchstar hoped the Clan could get through the season entirely unharmed, but he could only pray to StarClan for that.

Shadow tried to leave no trace of his presence, destroying his temporary den and covering it with herbs in an attempt to mask his scent. Satisfied, he padded away from it and decided it was time to hunt. The Tom lifted his nose up to scent the air. Catching the scent of a finch, he began to stalk the bird.

  • Ghostpaw

The tom smiled widely and nodded. :"Can we race there?" He asked his mentor, maybe he himself could challenge her speed with his. Although, he was pretty sure she would win, after all, she was fast.
