The girl always loved the night. For as far back as she could remember she would always feel comfort in the dark blanket of the night with the millions of stars painted across it like a work of art. Yes... she loved the night more than anything else. She often would slip away from the tiny village so very closed off from the world and just go into the nearby forests to enjoy herself with the different sounds during the night. But, she knew always that she was breaking the village orders. She always heard tales of men who were turned into foul monsters who preyed on the blood of the living, and even though she passed it off as superstition she could not deny the latest killing around her usually peaceful village was sinister.
Men and women with blood drained completely from their bodies, no sign of a struggle, no knife wounds, only a sinister bite on the side of their neck. This however would never impede the young woman, Leva, from venturing into the night. Maybe it was the fact that danger could possibly happen at any moment for her that grabbed her interest, or was it the fact that she felt confident in her abilities to make a quick get away if needed, she didn't care. The young, fool hardy eighteen year old would soon find problems that will consume her... possibly for good.
As Leva proceeded through the forest, her gaze settled upon a clearing that she hadn't seen before. She was natural curious since she had never wandered so far out. Moving out into the soft moonlight, she was revealed to be a rather beautiful, enticing young woman. Her long, dark hair was pulled back in a low ponytail, and her skin was a soft light brown. Her eyes were striking against her complextion, a pale blue, and with rosy, full lips to pull it all together and a curvy body, she certainly was a beautiful young woman. She spotted a smooth, large stone within the center of the clearing, which immediately caught the young woman's attention. Moving forward, she climbed up clumsily on the rock due to the dress she was wearing and sat down, allowing herself to enjoy basking in the moonlight and the cool night air. Yet, even Leva couldn't deny that she felt the scathing feeling of eyes on her which caused her skin to crawl.
