welcome to the pack of the bluemoon eclipse

Sichek noticed the wolves stopping. She pulled up as well, her silver-green eyes focused on the group. One started to fly towards her, and she tensed, ready for an attack. In her experience, most did not give her a chance to explain herself before driving her out. She did not expect this to be any different, but stayed in place just in case. The guard hairs on her ruff stood up, and her claws unsheathed. She was confident she could take this wolf if she or he tried anything. She took a quick look around, scanning the forest for an escape route if something went wrong. Usually she would scale a large tree, but for obvious reasons this wasn't going to work with these wolves. Her eyes traced a trail in the woods that would get her back to the Mountain as quickly and safely as possible, and from the Mountain, she knew what to do. Now she would wait for the wolf to reach her and find out what they wanted.
Her heart beat faster. Perhaps...No. No wolf pack would accept her.

Sichek dipped her head, her silver-green eyes looking up at Rune. "My name is Sichek. I was investigating the sounds of gunshots, and I was curious to see you flying. I followed you to here, and you saw me. I mean no harm, and I will leave back to my home if the need be." Her long tail was wagging slowly from side to side, and her hackles had flattened. Her claws, too, had retracted. This wolf seemed friendly, and she trusted her not to hurt her. She waited for a response from the alpha that flew inches above her.

I watched as Rune disappeared beneath the cover of the trees.
Sol:
I watched the interaction between wolf and unknown creature with my heat sensing eyes.

Sichek blinked in surprise, hope springing up in her eyes. "It would be an honor! I would love to join your pack." Her ears flicked forward and her long tail wagged harder. She could hardly believe her good fortune.

"What are they doing down there?" I asked Sol.
Sol:
I watched as the creature and Rune walked side by side heading for camp. "Rune is taking the strange creature to our camp," I replied in surprise.

Sol:
"She looks different than me," I said. "Different body shape, different heat signature." He listed.

Sichek snarled at Sol. "So maybe I'm not the same. My father was a snow leopard and my mother was a wolf. Despite my outwards appearances I consider myself a canine just as you are, and I'm willing to prove this to you." The fur on her ruff rose in anger. How dare this wolf speak to her this way! She was just as good as him. Slowly, she calmed herself down. There was no need for anger, not now. Perhaps she would have to leave later on if they were not able to accept her, as her old pack was, but for now she would wait to see.

Sichek, now considerably calmer, answered the alpha. "I am Sichek, daughter of Skaarn and Sharpclaw. I, in turn, know not your names. What are they?" She said this as politely as she could, trying not to stir up new arguments. Her silvery blue eyes were calm, with endless oceans of curiosity hiding behind them. She wanted to know who these wolves were, especially since she was to join their ranks.
