    Well, if you asked the kitten, it certainly looked like a place where a group of harvesters would live.




    Rorschachkit peered through the picket fence, curiosity in her eyes as she looked over the farm. It would've made sense for them to be there- it looked like a nice place, rustic but welcoming. A cheerful smile on her face, she tugged off her sunhat, then pulled out the note. Tribe of the Harvest Moon, it read, in messy gray letters. Yes, this had to be the place it was talking about.




    Actually, the writer wasn't an unidentified 'it'- she was pretty sure she'd written the note herself, and anything that was written down and kept in her hat was probably important. She'd probably been here before, and noted that it was relatively safe. By now, the kit had gotten used to a life of "maybe," "probably," and "relatively"; nothing was set in stone, especially not when her memories lasted all of about an hour before slipping out the door and vanishing forever.




    Dismissing the rather depressing thought, Rorschach waited for someone to arrive- they'd be able to say for sure if she was in the right place, hopefully.

    Gwen hated being the first at the border, she honestly had no clue what to say at times, and had to improvise. The fact that she had been around the border was to escape the rest of the tribe - and its members for abit, not run into someone.

    The kit glanced over, still smiling. They probably hadn't met- if the other cat had to ask for a name, they most likely hadn't introduced themselves to each other- but it was always nice meeting new people. "Rorschachkit," she answered, tucking away the note and putting her hat back on. "This is the Tribe of the Harvest Moon, right? Someone directed me here, and I'd like to join." There, a decent explanation- and it wasn't a total lie, either.

    "Well then welcome Rorschakit. I'm Aelin and it's nice to meet you," the serval introduced with a light smile as she walked over. She always felt bad for the kittens who joined alone. Aelin looked the newcomer up and down and gave her another soft smile. She was curious to know who directed her here, but she didn't want to pry.

    Silentsong, about a few months ago, would have called that kitten lucky, said that it was amazing that if something terrific or bad ever happened to her, she would eventually forget it. But now, Silentsong was sensible, and knew the condition was horrific. The pregnanct domestic feline began to pass over slowly, not wanting to lose her breath and bound over. Dull blue orbs flicked to the amnesiac kit, and she let the warm smile that tugged at the end of her lips take over.

    Glancing over the other two as they approached, the kit nodded. "Nice to meet you too, miss Aelin," she responded, smiling right back. Even now, her cheerful demeanor remained- not that she was constantly aware of the passage of time like the others, but a victory over a smaller obstacle was a victory nonetheless. Turning to the pregnant female and the flame-marked apprentice, she added, "What about you two, what are your names?"

    Oh, but she was. It was almost a coping mechanism- while she'd always had a cheerful disposition, keeping it up now helped her to ignore the fact that her memory was constantly wiping itself clean, day after day after day. "It's nice to meet you both," she repeated, nodding. "I'll have to write that down, next time I can find somewhere to write it..." There had to be another sheet of paper somewhere in the barn, right?
