dewspatter watched her go before turning to duskpaw. "you're super smitten over her, aren't you?" she asked with a brief chuckle.
falcontalon nodded in agreement and followed him, lifting up a mouse. "would you like to eat together?" he asked in a friendly manner, tail flicking.

Moonstem stretched her legs and purred a greeting to Nightdream, "Good morning!" She pulled one paw to her muzzle and began to clean it. "I slept a little to well." She joked, running the paw over her head, "How about you?"
dewspatter raised a catbrow. "if you say so." she mewed, padding over to rosepaw and ferretpounce. "fancy a hunting trip with our apprentices?" she asked ferretpounce, hiding her red hot ears and banishing any hint of her crushfrom sight.

Duskpaw could sense the tension, but he was smart enough to keep his mouth shut.
Nightdream purred. "I also slept well." He looked up at Lovelykit. "Congratulations! Excited to become a 'paw?"
Moonstem purred, "One step closer to becoming a warrior! I remember mine, it wasn't too long ago." For being a medicine cat, she was young. She had been a skilled apprentice and was swiftly made a medicine cat when she was of age.

"What no! It was this cat!" Pebblekit was gently prodding a paw at the littermate still next to him. The fur around his neck stuck up in indignation, his already poofy pelt getting all the more puffed up."I don't snore." he growled in embarrassment. He was wide awake now, heading over to the two of them. " But Dawnkit snores," He was lying of course, being a rather deep sleeper; he didn't have proof that his sister did.

Pinebreeze laughed softly as Pebblekit spoke up in protest."Ah so you were awake," She looked between the two kits then back to the Nursery entrance. She should be getting back to her duties soon. Her tail flicked in irritation. She would much rather stay here longer. She decided to Just stay a little while longer...to make sure Pebblekit didn't get too rowdy. She watched with humour as Pebblekit put the blame on his sister, wondering what Dawnkit would do.

The mouse had been small, Ferretpounce having devoured the prey upon Rosepaw and Dewspatter's arrival." Sure, funny you should suggest that. I was just thinking of taking Rosepaw out for a hunting session," He smiled at the other warrior, glad to have someone interested in his company. He stood up. He licked his muzzle then his paws, which was something he often did after eating. He paused, eyed the other cats with confusion."..we're going right now?" he shook his head and laughed sheepishly. He blamed the coldness for making him so slow to process things. "Thought you lot were going to get something to eat first," He stood up."Well, lets get going then," he mewed.
dawnkit squeaked in surprise and buried her head under her paws. "d-do i really? o-oh my starclan, i-i'm so sorry!" she mewed, tiny little sobs coming from the sensitive, shy she-kit.
dewspatter chuckled. "don't think I'm welcome to eat anything. I haven't hunted for days." she mewed sheepishly. as if to prove her point her stomach growled and her sleek pelt surprisingly clung to her not slim but skinny frame. she turned around, dark, expensive amber eyes glowing in excitement as she padded toward the camp entrance.

RosePaw trotted after them, scenting the air breifly before she went, the comforting smell of the clan filling her senses. She grew rather impatient with the walking pace and glanced back at DuskPaw briefly before wiggling her haunches and springing off of the ground, digging her small claws into the bark of a tree. She continued to leap upwards, clambering out onto a branch for a better view. |

[align=center]dewspatter padded out and instantly scented mouse. she dropped into a hunting crouch, tail low to the ground and stil as a stick, her pelt camouflaging well with the roots of a tree and mud. the mouse was scrabbling away at the floor. with a light hiss she pounced and left the mouse dead beneath her claws.
falcontalon purred, giving ferretpounce a hard stare. oh, it was ridiculous how protective falcontalon was, even though he clearly didn't need to be. with a vole he padded after runningstar and dropped it, lying down to begin to eat. "most likely they will be hunting." he replied, before offering, "i could lead the hunting party if you'd like."[align=center]
"Oh yes!" LovelyKit bounced around with happyness, "When will I become an apprentice? Now? At midsun?"

Duskpaw shifted his ears backwards in a puzzled expression. "Rosepaw, where are you going?" He mewed, putting his paws up on the tree and preparing to climb up after her.
Nightdream chuckled. "Usually at sunhigh apprentices are made."

"Aw come on, Dawnkit," Pebblekit deflated, guilt extinguishing his embrassament. Sometimes he forgot how sensitive his Sister was. His ears flattened, pressed to the back of his head as he sighed. "I was joking!" He meowed, patting his sister's back to try and get her to stop hiding her face.

" Nice catch," Ferretpounce spoke up once he caught sight of the mouse beneath Dewspatter's paws. He looked over his shoulder, catching sight of Duskpaw climbing up the tree after Rosepaw. Understanding his apprentice's motive, He silently approved of Rosepaw's decision to get a good look of the forest from above.
