It had been days since he'd joined and he'd since gotten better, but he hadn't gotten to know anyone; it was time to change that. "Meet and greet," the feline called, in full knowledge of the Clanwide meet and greet that he'd recently attended. He had a different plan for this meet and greet and he'd done it in the Militia when he first joined there.

"This one will be a little different though," Theodore stated to the surrounding npcs as he saw their interest pique. "I thought instead of just telling everyone our names and moving on, that perhaps we could reveal our pasts, our families, our hopes and desires."

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0; width: auto; font-size: 10.2pt;][justify]Oh dear. Taintedvirtue wasn't all too happy about the other requirements. She'd always been reserved - even as a child. Nevertheless, the huntress padded forward and attempted to take a seat upon the freshly fallen snow. "Taintedvirtue Drachen. My mother goes by Haushinka, and my father the infamous Coppermine." Her vocals hesitated as she uttered her parents titles, a small anxious twitch of her paw giving away her emotions. "I was conceived for the sole purpose of being a servant to my mother. At four moons, I was beaten senseless by my mother's hand in her pathetic attempt to form me into an unstoppable warrior. I suppose as a child, I searched for return of love by my mother, and so I did as I was told until I mastered the arts of sparring and weaponry within a year. Apologies, I've rambled." She came to a sudden halt, tearing her gaze away from the others quickly.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0; font-size: 10pt][justify]What was there to tell? Really, Rubyserpent didn't have much of a past. Well, she did, but it wasn't exactly something she considered sharable. No matter what, Rue would be hiding the exact details of her life. [color=#EE123E]"Hello, I'm Rubyserpent," the Roosevelt elk would greet as she walked over. [color=#EE123E]"There's not much to tell, really," she mused. Being young as she was, that lie was quite easily believed.

[color=#EE123E]"Ah, well, I was born in the loner lands, my mother raised me for a year before dying from a grizzly bear attack, and I eventually found my way here," Rubyserpent would explain. The humongous elk would give a light shrug. It wasn't exactly a lie, per say, but it wasn't exactly the truth either.

Fallenempire approached and sat down, her ears twitching as she listened patiently, damn, that would have sucked. Fallen hummed a little as her turn came around "I am Fallenempire, I don't remember my parents and I have son." she spoke with a slight halt in her voice. Man, she hated telling others her past, it wasn't as bad as Taintedvirtues she supposed but the memories still hurt nonetheless. "I was an orphan as a child, I had no name when a village of assassins picked me up when I was around four months, they said they saw potential in me. So I trained day and night to become one of them, but five months later it all went to hell. There was a traitor in their midst that ratted out the location of them. Everything burnt and there were few survivors, I could only watch as the only home I had ever known fell apart. Like a fallen empire." The british girl spoke coldly but her gaze was fixated on her paws. Jeez, was this story time or what.

Then again, Theodore supposed that these people wouldn't be who they were if they hadn't gone through it. "Sorry," he murmured haltingly, dipping his head in respect. "Taintedvirtue, I think I met Coppermine once. I was only a kit so I don't remember much, but he was very impressive, I'm sure." Then, finding nothing else to say on the matter, repeated his apology for his Clanmates' pasts. He wasn't too sure about revealing his own past, but if pressed would mention his father and his nomad ways passingly.
