Alice huddled in the corner in a shadow,tears streaming down her face. She heard the bottom stair creak and opened the window that she was sitting by. She took out the screan and stared out into the moonlit feild. Alice heard a scream and a gunshot and knew her time was limeted. Her parents,her sister,she jumped. There was a crunch as she landed on her arm but she got up and sprinted toward the road that would take her downtown. There coming,there coming. she thought. Her long strait black hair streamed behind her and the wind whipped her electric green eyes. Alice saw her best friend's house and knew they were next. She entered and saw Vera on the couch. Her parents were out of town so she would be easy prey. "Get your phone and follow me." Alice demanded. Vera didn't question but did as she was told. They got into her truck and sped out of town. "Name a state,any state." Alice told her friend. "Canada." Vera said. She nodded. "That's quite a way away friom Missouri." They drove until they reached Rapid Stone,Canada. "Who were they?" Vera finally asked when they stopped for gas. "B*******. They were North Korean spies." Alice said darkly. Vera nodded. "They killed my parents and sister. They killed Zeva and Noa too. They're going to feel the pain that I felt when my family and friends were killed." Alice vowed. "Let's get to a place where we can decide how we're going to live out here. Vera said getting in the truck.
