  • Flick

    Flick walked around the outskirts of Windclan, searching for some sort of food. She was starving. She opened her mouth to a gust of wind, trying to pick up a scent of something. She soon scented a rabbit not to far away from her. She sighed in relief and started to stalk forwards, running only on instinct. She could feel her maw, dripping with saliva with just the thought of biting into the fresh meat of the rabbit. She moved forwards, quietly, fighting the somewhat strong breeze. She was just behind the rabbit, close enough for leaping distance. She licked her lips and sprang forwards, but her collar caused a jingle and the rabbit jerked upwards, then sprinted away, even before Flick could get her claws on it. She fell to the ground with a thud and groan. "Fox-dung." She growled and got up to clean herself off. "I guess I'm going to have to find another one.." She muttered to herself. She sat there, figuring out where she was supposed to go next, but little did she know she had passed the Windclan border, and there might be other creatures watching her.

    His sharp ears caught a strange jingle carried on the wind, and Maelstrom tilted his head in confusion, wondering what could have produced it. He was curious by nature, when he was allowed to be, and it didn't take long to decide to investigate. It didn't take long to find the source of the strange ringing, and when the large, ungainly wolf caught sight of the mottled she-cat, he paused. There was something about her posture that suggested uncertainty, and beyond that, his powerful nose couldn't identify the scent that clung to her despite the heavy breeze. An unknown, then. But would it be friend, foe or joiner?

    He approached cautiously. "Hello," Maelstrom called. "I don't know if you're aware, but you're on WindClan territory. Might I ask your name, and what you're doing here?"

  • {No problem. Thanks!}

    Flick jumped and turned in the direction of the new voice. She took in his, interesting appearance, since she never actually saw a winged wolf, with antlers. Is he going to kill me? Or.. is he going to take me prisoner? Flick pondered, and almost missed the Wolf's question. She took a slight intake of breath and shook herself slightly, "Sorry. I didn't realize, I was just trying to get something to eat..." She quietly replied, a bit intimidated by the wolf now. "My name is Flick."
