Hope silently passed through the dense forest, coming to a wide clearing, a waterfall in the center. She slowly padded up to the waterfall and smiled as she saw the clearness and smelled the scent of fresh water. She dipped her head forth and lapped at the water, growing extremely heavy. She then saw the poppy that lay at the top of the waterfall, making the pool of water below a sleeping potion. She fell to the ground, her sides heaving up and down gently.

  • Katrina sniffed the air, noticing a weird scent coming near her."Who's there."The Maine coon meowed blankly, not really caring."Well?"Katrina lapped up some water, thirsty from her trip from Windclan.

  • Hope slowly came to and stood on shaky legs, her body uneven. She looked around and yelled to Katrina, "No don't drink that!" Her eyes widened and she rushed towards her, "You'll go to sleep." She knew it was too late but at least it was only drowsiness the water caused.

  • "What do you mean?"Katrina meowed still awake."Have you lost your mind? I'm fine as ever."Yet, these was a small drowsiness, but Katrina didn't't show it. Grooming herself, Katrina sighed, tired from her trip in Windclan."Windclan is a nice place to be. You should go there one day."

  • Hope looked at her then smiled, "Yes, Windclan must be a wonderful place." She tried to envision a place where this cat had come from but couldn't. She then tilted her head slightly, "I'm Hope, who are you?" She looked into the clear water below and smiled when she was nothing living in it, 'it must have put everything to sleep,' she concluded.

  • "I'm Katrina."The medium, heavy furred cat meowed, licking her paw."Lots or moorland, Windclan."Gosh, was the water getting to her? Usually Katrina wasn't this nice to new people.

  • Hope smiled, "It's nice to meet you, Katrina. Windclan sounds beautiful." She turned and at to face her, her eyes gleaming with a gentle soothing to them. She softly locked her gaze with Katrina's.

  • "Yup, it is."Katrina looked at her, but turned away."Well, I should be going now. I have to get going for my trip."She was a wanderer, going everywhere to explore.

  • Hope tucked her paw under her, "Would you mind me tagging along?" She seriously needed to get away from here and she needed to have someone to travel with but she wondered, 'Is this cat the right cat?' She blinked then looked at Katrina.

  • "Yeah, sure."Katrina meowed, not thinking a bit about what she was getting herself into."Now c'mon, we should find a good place to sleep here today, and someone has to hunt. I'll find a nice place that fits the both of us."

  • Hope nodded and stood, "I'll go hunt, you look hungry." She padded towards the way she had come and turned back to Katrina, "I'll be right back." She dashed out into the woods and scented the air for prey. Her fur groomed to fit her sides she smiled and crouched down to stalk a nearby rabbit.

  • Shrugging, Katrina padded around, looking for a nearby hole. Seeing a empty fox den, Katrina waited. Yawning, Katrina didn't really feel like telling her until she came back.

  • Hope darted forward and bit into the unsuspecting rabbit's neck. She chuckled softly and turned to look for another piece of prey. She found a mouse nearby chewing on a seed. She settled her rabbit down and pounced, landing with grace on the mouse, killing it with ease. She smirked and lifted both prey and headed back towards Katrina.

  • Falling asleep, Katrina managed to stay up for a few more minutes."C'mon, Hope. I'm sooo tired."Yawning like crazy, Katrina blew it and slept. And slept. And slept.

  • Hope arrived at the empty fox den and settled the prey down before Katrina. She softly chuckled, "Wake up, Katrina, it's time to eat." She smiled and nudged Katrina with her nose.

  • "Fine."Katrina mumbled, and started to get up slowly. Taking the mouse, Katrina ate it in a gulp and went into the fox den."Night."The loner meowed lamely, and fell asleep once again.

  • Hope giggled and laid down to eat the rabbit. She closed her eyes and ate, slowly coming to a conclusion that this would be a highlight in her life. She finished the delicious morsel and headed into the den to sleep. She closed her eyes and laid down, falling asleep in a matter of moments.

  • (sure, it's up to you.)

The wind pressed into Hope's fur, ruffling the usually well groomed fur. She moved in her sleep so that her fur would by protected from the harsh wind outside. She went back into deep slumber.

  • Waking up, Katrina yawned, feeling the sunlight beat down onto her heavy coat. Grudging up, the furry maine coon went out to hunt. Without another word, Katrina crouched down, and caught a small jay.
