Appleshine smiled and purred, laying her head on his shoulder.

He was still grooming her. " When is the kits ceremony at?" he asked.

''I think it'll be at moonhigh, maybe.'' Appleshine meowed.

"Ok i cant wait." he purred.

''Me either..'' Appleshine purred. Excitement was prickling in her paws as she got more and more restless every hour.

"We should tell the kits they should be getting ready." he meowed.

Appleshine nodded and stood up, padding over to Applekit and Flamekit. ''Kits, today probably, you're going to be apprentices, so be ready.'' She meowed.

Crowfeather started to lick Applekit.

''Wow..'' Mistedkit meowed. ''Already?''

"yes so start grooming yourself." he purred.

Mistedkit nodded and started to frantically groom her fur.

Crowfeather laughed "You have time you dont need to go that fast."

Mistedkit nodded and licked her paw, drawing it over her face. ''What do apprentices usually do in their spare time?'' She asked.

"they come see there parents." he meowed.
