    Shizuka watched as the night lights of the city burned bright colours into the dark sky. The many different colours tinted her white hair glorious shades of the rainbow. However, the colour her eyes was brighter. The sclera was a pitch black, while the iris glowed a deadly ruby.


    From her place on the tall building, nobody could see the eyes that gave away her identity as a ghoul. The clothing she donned was odd enough however, and she knew that the doves would know anyhow. But the albino could have cared less, she wasn't afraid of them.

    [align=center][color=grey] Ogazi was sitting on a bench outside near the park, one hand holding up a book, the other tipping a small cup of coffee to his lips, allowing him to sip generously from it. Night was an odd time to be doing any of these things, alone or together, especially out in the park, alone. Though, he looked like any other college student, rather than some sort of dangerous monster who occasionally feasted on the flesh of humans. He was good at hiding it, smiling politely to anyone who passed by him.


    Chishio, a CCG inspector, was out on an off-duty sweep with his partner and mentor, Jojo. The two boys were sitting at the bar of an outside sushi stand, snacking on their supper and occasionally mumbling and chuckling amongst each other. Now and then, they'd look over their shoulders at the passing crowd, but had yet to see any suspicious figures or get any reports of ghoul sightings.


    Azuka was a part of that crowd passing by, blending in well with the humans, matching them in demeanor and pace perfectly. He could keep himself calm even if fresh, young flesh was right under his nose, even if it tore at his insides to keep himself tame in the presence of vulnerable people. Glancing around, he waited until he had made some distance between himself and the two doves, letting out a sigh of relief; he'd been holding his breath as he walked by them, a habit of stealth.

    Miki tossed in her bed her blinds were open revealing the starry night sky. She couldn't get sleep at all not when the scent of ghoul was so close. The ghouls scent screamed Aogiri and they were probably out killing to calm their hunger or for fun. She blinked a few times with a sigh she sat up walking over to her window thoughts of her brother coming to her. Oh how she wished he would have come and staid with her in Anteiku but he wanted more power like he wasn't strong enough he was lucky to be full ghoul instead of a half like her.


    Ayato was chilling on the roof of his sisters house he often kept an eye on her from afar wishing that things would have turned out different. A sigh escaped him as he closed his eyes his ear buds playing rock music in his ears. He didn't really care for much but his sister he felt the need to protect her so he would.

    Raising her head, Shizuka sniffed the air, Ahh, he must be with his sister again. With inhuman grace and speed, the albino ghoul ran across the buildings, until she found herself cloaked in the shadows of the roof where the aforementioned ghoul sat.


    "Ayato, you need to be careful." Despite the lack of emotion in her voice, the tone of scolding was in her eyes.

    Ayato sighed as Shizuka's scent filled his nose. He sat up muttering "Yeah yeah I know... She's apart of one of the organization's we dispose and what not...you know you really p*ss me off with your rules. " He opened his green cat like eyes and glanced over at her.

    "Yeah but the way you keep bugging me about them makes them like yours..." Ayato glanced down at the streets below them memories of him and Miki playing together running through his mind. To be honest he missed those days when it didn't matter what he was and what Miki was or what organization they were apart of. They were always there for each other but since he left Miki he has heard about how down she's gotten about that when she first found out.

    Shizuka sighed, dropping her gaze to where his was, "I just want you to be careful, that's all. If one of the other higher-ups had found you here, you know what they'd do."

    The white-haired ghoul only knew too well what he was going through. She had her own sibling whom she had to keep distant from. A family that has been separated by someone else is bad enough. But what makes it worse, is that she was the one to separate them.

    "They'll just have to deal with it...." Ayato muttered standing up then offering to help her up he said "Come on let's get going before they nag our ears off."

    Slipping her cold bandaged hand into his, Shizuka pulled herself up. Adjusting her dark hood over her head, the white-haired girl summoned her kagune. The four flame, pixie-like wings glowed black and red, the two different colours rippling through the flames. Leaping off the building, Shizuka flew towards Aogiri headquarters.

    Ayato simply jumped down from the roof landing in the yard he glanced back at his sisters room his green eyes half closed clearly showing that he was upset. He turned away and stuffed his hands into his pockets following Shizuka just at a much slower pace.

    The white-haired ghoul abruptly halted in her flight. She was on the roof of the building opposite Anteiku, a look of regret passing through her eyes that flashed red with emotion. Through the window, a white-haired boy could be seen cleaning the tables.


    Binsoku wiped over the tables, but glanced towards the window when a familiar scent filled his nose. He could see her clearly, her eyes flashing red in the night, wings aglow with a power he knew she didn't want. At least, that was what he hoped. To this day, he didn't know why she chose Aogiri over Anteiku, perhaps it was for power.


    Their eyes locked, pain flashing through an invisible bond. Shizuka needed her brother to embrace her the way he used to when she was in pain, but she knew better than to reach out.

    Seeing Shizuka stop Ayato glanced over at the window to see her brother who like his site chose Anteiku. "Come on don't forget your own advice..." he said walking up beside her his usually dangerous looking eyes a soft green.

    Ayato glanced back over at the kid who was looking at them his green eyes glowed in the soft light if the street lamp. He followed after Shizuka after a moment his thoughts in his own sister "Don't we have that meeting today?" Ayato asks as he follows behind her.

    "Yeah, starts at midnight, all S-Ranked and over ghouls that are a part of Aogiri will be there." Shizuka's expression as grim, "They haven't told anybody what it's about, but I'm betting that they want to attack the doves. Directly or indirectly? I don't know. But they're waging a war that's not worth it.

    "Were talking about Aogiri here, Shizuka, they do war for fun if they get bored" Ayato said jumping over to another roof. Truth be told he was pretty strong he was just to lazy to show all his strength and he was sure Shizuka knew that sense she knew him so well.
