Your eyelids flutter open to the sight of dark forest. You have no idea where you are, but you can hear sadistic laughter echoing around you. You don't know it yet, but you're not the only one who can hear it. There are others here, in the same boat as you.

Suddenly, a voice comes out on the loudspeakers that have been hidden throughout the forest.

Welcome to the Forest of Nightmares! You are all here to do the same thing: SURVIVE. As we speak, someone is coming after you, but none of you know who it is. Once you have passed your first 'test', you will be supplied with a weapon in order to defend yourself from this 'someone'.

Then, for each test after that, you will be granted certain abilities to help you along the way. But, keep in mind, these tests will pit you against your darkest fears and desires.

I give you this; form alliances, but stay cautious. You must know when it is time to run, or hide. Survive until the end, pass your final test, and the reward will be yours.

Let the game of Hide and Seek begin!

  • [fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; font-family: arial; color: silver;] Lucas let out a sigh, feeling his brain urge him towards consciousness. Though he hadn't opened his eyes yet, he already knew there was something off. This certainly wasn't someplace familiar. He didn't exactly remember what he was doing earlier, but it for sure wasn't sleeping.
His hazel eyes partly opened, wincing once as he expected bright light, but opened all the way when he realized he was someplace without lighting. He reached up a hand to rub his eyes, trying to drive the drowsiness from them. Carefully, he narrowed his eyelids and tried peering through his glasses, making sense of all the silhouettes of foliage and shrubs. Nothing was familiar and it was starting to scare him. It was then he heard a resounding malicious laughter that made him freeze. Its tone came off as patronizing and demeaning, but he had no choice but to listen. At least it described what was going on, but he didn't like the fact he was essentially kidnapped and taken to a battle field. Plus, he wasn't sure what it meant by darkest fears, desires, or alliances. Honestly, what in the world was even going on?

Once the voice had announced gleefully for the game to begin, Luke sat up and looked around. His first goal was to hopefully get out of here, but he felt like that option wasn't available. The feeling of being trapped here did make him take a moment to breathe, but he recollected himself and slowly stood up. Staying in one place was probably not a good idea, so he picked a random direction and started walking in hopes of running across some more answers. Though, Luke knew from experience that his luck was pretty terrible.

  • The hell..., Nora was on the ground, using her elbows to sit up slightly, the branches digging into her skin. Rising to stand, the white-haired girl brushed herself off, properly observing her surroundings. The last thing she remembered was coming back home from a late study session with one of her friends. But, she didn't remember actually getting back home. She was still donned in her black winter coat, skinny jeans and combat boots.

Nora sighed, she'd just have to walk around and wait for the first test, or somebody else who didn't have the intention of killing her. The laughter that sounded in the distance chilled her to the bone, but she didn't let it stop her, she kept walking, purposely stepping on the ground that wasn't littered with branches to break.

After a minute or two, Nora heard somebody walking close by. Rushing behind a tree, the albino peeked out from the side, keeping herself as hidden as possible. Well, he doesn't look like he's looking for people to kill, he doesn't have any weapons on him either.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; font-family: arial; color: silver;] Lucas was careful to look around as he walked, making sure he at least had some kind of cover. The trees here weren't too wide, but he figured they'd at least be useful in a pinch. What he didn't like were the fauna or debris scattered on the ground. Each time the wind blew and rattled a branch or swept leaves across the ground, he had to take a shaky breath to settle his nerves. Really, what kind of person was wicked enough to do this to other people?

He took a moment to fix his scarf, forgetting that he had it on. He guessed he might've been outside before all this happened, since he could now vaguely recalled the cold and sprinkles of snow that dusted the ground. A slight rustle in the bushes nearby caused him to pause and step back but upon walking towards it he discovered the culprit was a little mouse. Not a huge fan of rodents, he turned away quickly and continued in the random direction he had chosen.

  • Okay, there's no other way to figure it out, leaning cooly against the tree, in the boy's line of sight. She turned her head to face him, "Victim or Culprit?" Perhaps she could have approached it differently? She could have followed him to see if he did anything suspicious.

But no, Nora just had to go and be impatient. Well, it wasn't too bad; worse case scenario is she gets killed. Yeah, maybe she should have approached this a little bit differently...

  • [fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; font-family: arial; color: silver;] Lucas halted his movement when he noticed something move into his line of sight. A girl about his age with long silver hair and a cautious gaze turned to look at him. Her question caught him off guard as well as confused him a little. Victim or culprit? He guessed that was in reference to this weird situation he was in. If that was the case, he realized, she might also be a part of this mess too.
' Um, victim? Who are you?' he asked, sliding over the question. He felt himself tense up a little, ready to get out of there if anything bad occurred

  • "Name's Nora," The albino smirked at him, pleased with his answer. Pushing off from the tree, she approached him, "Don't worry, I'm not the guy running around trying to kill everybody." Nora seemed a little bit too laid-back considering the situation she had woken up to. But the white-haired girl always managed to find a way to keep cool, calm and collected in any sort of predicament.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; font-family: arial; color: silver;] Warily taking a step back as Nora approached, Luke still held obvious suspicions abput her. He had a feeling there was no way she could be the culprit but even then he couldn't stave his thoughts completely. Still, he continued standing there and wasn't about to let his fears prevent him from potentially meeting another victim.
'I'm Luke. Where did you come from, before all this?'

. Kisamuru....Kisamura? She didn't care how her name was pronounced or spelt. Many people mixed them up either way. Just like how she was mistaken as her sister. She cringed, her face darkening for a second as she remembered her sister's cruel navy blue eyes. Both has the same hair color. The only way to tell the two apart was by eye color--which many didn't pay attention to. Because at night---Kisa's eyes went to a navy blue at times. Sometimes, if she was lucky, it would just end up being a duller shade of blue than from which she had.

She didn't really mind where she currently was, She enjoyed the forest....All of them...

    Except for this one....

It made her feel as if something or someone was scratching lightly at her skin. She shivered. It was disgusting. She hated it. She blinked once, but sighing as she flipped upwards, professionally with her hands behind her head as she looked around. Empty....Dark.... She could recall she was running off in anger once again....Anger she usually concealed. But she didn't remember getting to her final destination. Well...It already solves it. She would never go to a place like this.

First test huh? Well It better be easy. She wasn't really in the mood for a test. Considering school was already breaking her hands. She took another sigh of boredom as she put on a innocent child-like face. "Better make the best of it!" She said happily as she tried to be positive and walked off in some random direction.

  • Nora rubbed her neck, "I don't see how it matters, now that we have no clue where the hell this place is." Although, the albino doubted she would be able to find her way home either way, seeing as her survival skills were limited to knowing how to fight. Hell, the white-haired girl probably wouldn't even be able to start a fire she was that useless.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; font-family: arial; color: silver;] 'Yeah, I guess,' Lucas muttered He turned his hazel eyes to the forest, trying to at least judge what time of day it was. The leaves and branches were rather thick, though, so he couldn't exactly tell. He turned back to the white haired girl and remembered that she probably heard the announcement from earlier too. 'Do you have any idea what we should do, or what the test is supposed to be?'

  • "Well, it's probably not gonna be like your usual history exam. They'll probably try to mess with our minds, although I say that as if they haven't already." Nora didn't doubt that they were going to meddle with their heads. Why else would they have dragged them out to the middle of nowhere to slowly kill off.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; font-family: arial; color: silver;] Looking a little more anxious and nervous, Luke pushed back his glasses. 'I wish they just got it over with if they want to kill us. I'm already messed up enough,' he muttered. He rubbed his cold hands before putting them in the pockets of his jacket. Quietly he took another look around, wondering if there was another person nearby.

  • Nora scoffed sadly, "Maybe they dragged us out here to put us out of our misery." If she was honest, Nora didn't really care whether she made it out of this mess alive. In fact, if she never had to see her father again, she would go so far as to call this who thing a blessing.

The white-haired girl went to say something else, until she felt her body go limp, and she was surrounded by darkness.

. The light blue-haired feminine watched the two people talk. Her blue eyes slightly shrunk when the white hair had seemed to 'change'. She tilted her head before the small smile on her face creepily grew.

She hit herself in the head lightly, trying to make herself knock out of it. "Not now....Bad Miru..." She scolded herself as her face went blank as she observed them.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; font-family: arial; color: silver;] Looking a little relieved and then scared, Luke decided to stop asking questions. They could only guess what would happen, after all, and there obviously wasn't any real answers to anything he asked. Noticing that the girl had suddenly stopped speaking, he saw her suddenly fall and immediately walked a couple steps closer. He couldn't bring himself to approach her completely, but planned to if she was unresponsive.
'Hey, are you alright?' he asked frantically.

As soon as she woke up, Nora wasn't sure whether or not she was really awake. She was in a black room, barren of any life apart from herself. Then suddenly, her father appeared, causing a frown to grace her lips. Just as she was about to ask him what he was doing, he started shouting at her. He screamed about how pathetic she was over and over, and how he regretted even meeting her mother knowing that she was the result of their marriage. No wonder he couldn't stay faithful, he told her, it was all her fault in the end.

The white-haired girl's hands were in fists by her sides, her bangs concealing her eyes from view like a curtain. Until she snapped, raising her eyes to meet his, she raced towards him, daggers materialising in her hands. Without another thought, she plunged one into his heart, her eyes aglow with fury.

Before she really knew what was going on, Nora's eyes snapped open, and she gasped as if she'd awoken with water in her lungs. Looking down, Nora realised that the daggers were still in her hands, and a watch was on her wrist. Bringing the watch closer for observation, she realised it was some sort of radar. It showed three dots. One where she was, another next to her, and another one that was close by.
